2025.01.27 19:42 kovaefr One (beginner) Synth To Rule Them All... Help me decide! Hydrasynth Explorer, Arturia Minifreak, or Monologue XD?

I have zero sound design experience. I've listened to "no talk demos" for all three and love the sounds of the XD, but I've heard that it is the most limiting. I'm not afraid of a technical synth and am open to learning sound design, but a lot of the demos ive heard from the explorer aren't the most exciting. The minifreak seems like the middle ground, though I think the build quality and physical design of the XD appeal to me a bit more.
Obviously the XD is slightly appealing to me more, though I'm curious if I'll outgrow it. Am I being irrational? Should I get the XD because I like the sounds? should I go for a synth with more room to grow like the Minifreak or the Explorer?
Synth Music I Like: Weeknd, BNYX, Oneheart
I appreciate all suggestions! This week I'll be buying a synth, new guitar pedal and interface so I can play them all on a looper pedal. Some sort of synthy ambient guitar tracks in the future!

2025.01.27 19:42 CryptoNite90 Bought 2 of the same Prebuilts and need to transfer data

As per title, I bought 2 of the exact same prebuilt PCs. The first one I bought a month ago and have been using it since. The second one I bought last week because of a significant discount. In that month, I installed all of my gaming stuff.
I did install most of the stuff to my secondary SSD which I’ll be plugging into the new unit, but also used the default boot SSD as well.
I will be returning the first PC, but would like to know what would be the best, simplest method to transfeclone over all the data from the boot SSD from the first PC to the boot SSD of the second PC? They both have windows 11 home installed.
Should I use EaseUS? I see that they offer a free trial, is the trial enough to do one full transfer?
Specs: windows 11, Ryzen 9 7900x, MSI bios and motherboard, 2TB SSD

I’ll try to be brief. Post-COVID has been extremely difficult for me and my family. I’m a single parent who’s been working 2 jobs for over 3 years. I’m sure you all know the ups and downs of the food&beverage industry, so I won’t go into details but I lost the ability to pay my mortgage in 2023. Even with loss mitigation, extended loan, I could not afford to make payments. To avoid foreclosure, I entered into a Ch.13 bankruptcy — the case was voluntarily dismissed in Oct 2024. the payments were more than twice the amount of my mortgage and I could not sustain it.
I’m facing another <30 days until another foreclosure. My loan seems to have been bought by a third party separate from my bank (Flagstar). And I’ve definitely gotten calls and correspondence from various entities saying they can buy my house in cash, help with refinancing and or prevent foreclosure, but I have no idea how trustworthy they are. Should I apply for another Chapter 13 or do I have other options I haven’t considered yet?

Un genitore è venuto a mancare e lo zio se ne è preso cura, facendo sapere al figlio della morte del genitore solo dopo che questa è avvenuta. Tra il genitore e il figlio non c’era grande comunicazione. Nel frattempo lo zio si è fatto intestare tutto tramite testamento olografo. Il figlio sa che il genitore aveva investimenti in azionario, ma non sa se negli anni ha disinvestito. Non sa come capire se e quali conti correnti avessero liquidità. Lo zio propone al figlio una legittima basata su un immobile rimasto a disposizione.
Come capire qual è il vero valore del patrimonio sul quale calcolare la legittima? In particolare, come capire se ci sono stati movimenti “sospetti” su conti correnti, conti titoli, ecc?

I’ve been enrolled in Maryville’s online PMHNP program for the last 16 months. I purposely chose them because they are a brick and mortar school. However, the education I’m receiving seems like crap. I’m basically teaching myself and get almost no support from staff and have a bad feeling I’m going to be screwed for preceptors in a few months when I start clinicals. I’ve been a psych RN for the last 8 years and was an MHT for five years before that, so I have a decent foundation in psych but damn, I feel like I’m being hung out to dry by this school. I see a lot of people talk poorly of Chamberlain and Walden, is Maryville just as bad?
At this point I’m too far in to back out and even though I usually am in the highest percentile in terms of grades, I just have a sinking feeling that this school is going to leave me woefully unprepared for the job market.
Other than going to another school, does anyone have any ideas of how I could bolster my crappy education in the meantime?
