I live outside a dinky small down with a little county hospital in the county seat. On the way to Jury Duty this morning on a billboard I saw that in honor of February being "Heart Healthy Month" (which google assures me is a thing) the hospital is offering $50 self-pay CAC scores.
I called and signed up. Might be some good deals next month for you Attia fans who have been thinking about a CAC.

Back when I was in school, I had a lot of friends. Then, in my last year, I got back into a relationship with a girl I had dated before. We kind of had the same friend group, and things weren’t working because of that, so I decided to end things with my friends, and she did the same.
After that, we both got into different colleges (mine was co-ed, hers was a girls’ college). I didn’t interact with many people because I just couldn’t vibe with them. I felt like I would have to change myself just to fit in, and honestly, I didn’t care much because I had a girlfriend I could talk to all day. I did make a few friends, but not many.
Fast forward to when I finished college, I joined my father’s business. During that time, she broke up with me. After that, I went through different phases of dealing with the breakup. While going through those phases, I realized I had no one to talk to because, when it was time to make friends, I didn’t care much about doing that.
To cope with the loneliness, I downloaded dating apps. They worked for a while, but after some time, I started feeling this hollowness inside me. Because of that, I decided to delete all the apps.
Now, I just don’t know where to find people to connect with. I know I’m young and still have a lot of time to meet new people, but knowing all that doesn’t help.

Hello all, I’m a Freshman in highschool and I’ve been playing clarinet since August 2022, and I’m currently 3rd chair in Concert Band. I have S&E coming up week after next, and I’m going to be playing a song called Fantasy Piece (depending on your music district it’s a 5, I think for me, it’s a 4). With that being said, I think it would be a lot more interesting if I could play some grace notes, but I’m not quite sure if that’s allowed. I know adding in accents and slurs, as well as decrescendo and crescendo when you feel like you could. I was just wondering if you guys have any advice on that, and know if it’s allowed.

Hey everyone!
I'm writing here to seek some info/help on how to work at Coachella/Stagecoach this year on a paid team. Ideally I would love to work for Goldenvoice and their guest relations or artist relations team - I'm mainly looking to gain ground work, experience, and connections for a future job in the music/event industry. I recently applied for the guest services position, but I'm nervous about how competitive it is (especially because I have no ties to Goldenvoice).
Does anyone have any tips on how to get into these positions? If these are less attainable, does anyone know of any other companies that hire for positions across the three weeks? Ideally the position I would want would be paid and provide lodging (not completely necessary), I'm not really looking for a volunteer position.
Any help is greatly appreciated! I also am open to working other festivals around Cali! Just trying to gain as much ground work experience I can here without sending myself completely broke from travel expenses.

Short Story: I'm 28, have my MBA, make good money, but don’t want to sit behind a desk for the next 30+ years. Considering Med School. Am I crazy?
Longer Version: I’m 28, a Director at a Fortune 500 company, making $300k/year, but I’m realizing I don’t want to keep doing this for the rest of my life. I’m seriously considering transitioning into medicine, but the thought of 4 years of med school, residency, and years of prep is daunting.
A bit about me:
- Education:
- County College: Associate’s in Criminal Justice (3.21 GPA)
- Big 10 State School: B.S. in Business & Supply Chain Management (3.22 GPA)
- Top 20 MBA Program: Graduated in 2022, completed in 18 months during COVID.
- Career:
- Started working full-time at 18 in supply chain, balancing a Sr. Analyst role while completing my undergrad.
- Moved to a Big Name consulting firm, then transitioned to management in a tech group at a prominent Consumer Health company during COVID, focusing on technology products and patient/consumer interaction.
- Now I’m a Director, with quick promotions over the years.
- Extra-Curriculars:
- FirefighteEMT for the last 10 years with a busy combination agency, averaging 1,700 fire calls/year and 4,000 EMS runs.
- Lieutenant for the last 2 years, and previously President of the Board of Directors.
- Extensive Training in technical rescue (rope rescue, confined space, structural collapse), and a member of the Regional Urban Search and Rescue team.
My Questions:
- Am I a viable non-traditional candidate for med school?
- Will my undergrad GPA hold me back in terms of med school options? If I get As in science courses by going back to school, would that help?
- Is it crazy to consider making such a big career shift and likely starting med school at 30?

Over the past few years I’ve been drawn to Christianity, and my values naturally are aligning more and more with Christian values. I have loved the company of my Christian friends. I look up to many Christians. I see Judaism as similar, though I do not know Hebrew. Something about Christianity is really attractive to me. Let me know your thoughts. Should I join a church? How would I integrate myself? Do I need to become Christian to surround myself with people with Christian values?

I have a question about Flipkart’s refund process. Let’s say I order something on Flipkart, pay for it using my credit card, and opt for an EMI payment option. Now, if I decide to return the order after some time, how would the refund work in this case?
•Would the refund go back to my credit card?
•What happens to the EMI setup? Will the EMIs stop automatically, or do I need to take additional steps?
•Has anyone dealt with this kind of situation before and can explain the process?
I’d love to hear from someone who knows the exact process or has had a similar experience.
