DWP staff doing it? Some miserable jaded person doing it?
Is there an explanation, because it must be depressing and even more disheartening for the many individuals who come here and post looking for help or advice ... Just get downvoted as if your dirt.
Maybe it's not a big deal, but having suffered on carers allowance at the hands of foul DWP and job center / universal credit staff, id be very down if even my simple post here looking for help was downvoted.
If we want a sub that supports people, why so many dowmvoted OPs? Why not remove them all if they break subs rules? If not, why aren't we upvoting or how come my upvotes to these people still results in them getting 0?

Hi all,
I am from the mainland USA and made a rather large order from Scentedelic so I could test them out and review them, but I've hit a wall. I placed the order fine, but since then I've heard crickets from the company.
- I've emailed them to the email on their website and I get a bounce back email saying that the email doesn't exist.
- I replied to the email on the order confirmation... crickets.
- I tried calling them and it says "call cannot be completed as dialed"
- I used the chat with function... crickets.
Any advice?

Hello,
Was just hoping for some information on the following -
1) How easy is it to secure a CST post as a British Citizen and UK Medical Graduate who has done an F1 year in the UK? Is there prioritisation of local graduates over UK grads?
2) Once in a CST post, how difficult would it be to get a higher surgical training position? How does this vary among the subspecialities? Does Local Graduate prioritisation (if present) continue at this stage, or does having an Irish CST put you at equal footing?
3) Any experiences of CST or Surgical Residency that anyone would be happy to share?

Meds: Yasmin 21, Keflex, Naproxen
I cut my thumb Jan 10th. It became infected and I went to the ER Jan 18, they gave me an IV antibiotic 2grams as well as a 7 day prescription for Keflex 500g 4x a day. The next day I went back to the ER has I had a red streak coming from the infection. They gave me another IV antibiotic 2grams. Told me to return the next day for an ultrasound to confirm whether it was a deep tissue infection or not as I had discoloring of my skin, white/purple/black in some areas. Returned the next day confirmed it was not deep tissue, they gave me another IV antibiotic 2g. The new doctor wrote me a script for 500g 2x a day of Naproxen for 10 days and 500g 4x a day Keflex for 7 days. I am now at day 7 and there is no pain, there is still swelling of the thumb, and the area around the cut has turned into a large blister. I am just wondering if the blister is normal as it is the area of the thumb that initially though the skin was dying. I have made a follow up appointment with my family doctor for next Tuesday but I can get in earlier if needed. I am wondering how long it will take the swelling to return to normal, it has decreased but not fully back to normal. And if the blister is a part of the healing process.

So with Aeldari’s codex release they’re being given an entirely new army rule in Battle Focus, replacing their index’s Strands of Fate. This has me very hopeful that our army does away with Khorne Yahtzee and brings back Blood Tithe from 9th. I love this army but our Blessings dice system is so unthematic in my opinion. What do you guys think, would you want Blood Tithe back or do you prefer the Blessings?

Context:
Canadian applicant (not citizen, but carry PR). cGPA currently 3.70, when applying estimating 3.73-3.75ish, and sGPA currently 3.67, when applying estimating 3.69-3.70ish.
American DAT taking in February, hoping for 21+AA.
Shadowing currently low, but aiming for about 100-150 when applying.
Volunteering currently low-ish, aiming for at least 150 when applying ((food bank, card making for kids in hospital, possibly at a low-income dental clinic, but I'm still figuring that out).
Extracurriculars 1. Foundepresident of pre-dental club (re-elected, two years, around 90 hours), 2. events coordinator of my knitting club (re-elected, two years, around 100 hours), graphics designer for cultural club (1 year, around 30 hours), admin for biology society (around 40 hours), foundepresident of scrapbooking club (1 year, around 50-60 hours).
Jobs I have 1 as an assistant of community innovation/mentorship on-campus, working with nonprofits, arranging events that explore people's role in communities, etc. Around 150-200 hours.
I'm conducting research in a Biology lab, no publications but I have to write a thesis to complete the research. Around 220 hours.
LORs 1 really good science, 1 decent science, and 1 really good non-science. Still need to get a good dentist one. Personal statement not sure honestly, but I like it so maybe it's decent? I just haven't completely finished it and no one has read it yet so I feel like I'm biased lol.

Uni of Pacific Arthur Dugoni, UCLA, UCSF, USC, Buffalo, Columbia, NYU, Stony Brook, Texas A&M, UPenn, Rutgers, Maryland, Ohio State, West Virginia, Washington, UofT, Schulich, UofAlberta, UBC, McGill
I am FULLY aware some of these are reaches (like Canadian schools for e.g.) but I am still planning on applying to them, just to see. I am also very grateful to have financial help from my parents, so I'm applying broadly.
Is this a decent list? I was thinking of adding Detroit Mercy but I honestly just don't think I'd fit into the atmosphere well as from what I've researched they have a strong religious identity, though I could be wrong.
I would greatly appreciate everyone's input! :)

My Planet zoo game isn't running at all, nothing is opening, and I have Windows 11. I've tried everything, including all the solutions on Reddit—from Steam file fixes to running as admin—and even tried Goldberg, but nothing worked. I updated the drivers too, but it still won't run. Please, if anyone has a solution on how to run Planet Zoo in 2025, let me know. I used to have the game before, but I had deleted it, and now after reinstalling, it isn't running.
