Hi all I’m a 35 year old landscape designer with about 10 years of residential landscape design experience in FL.
I decided over the course of the last year that I want to make the jump to LA - ideally thru the “6 year rule” that allows you to work for an LA for 6 years and pass the LARE without a BA.
I’m getting nowhere applying to jobs as my experience and frankly my skill set aren’t up to par from what I can tell. I also have a pretty soft network with actual LAs vs contractors and nurseries.
If that means I have to go back to school I’m not opposed - I just have no idea how that would work as an adult with a mortgage.
Any advice or direction is sincerely appreciated. I love this work and I want to help shape the way people interact with it. I have extensive experience in project management and sustainability in particular - it just seems like it’s not enough.

Hello all! I'm very new to auto taping and finishing. Got Columbia 10 & 12" boxes used the for the first time last week and love them . I don't do finishing full time so want to keep a pretty minimal tool set. With that being said the worst part of my last job was going around and filling all thescrews heads which felt like forever considering how fast the boxes made everything else, plus lugging a ladder around for the 10foot ceilings just to fill screws.
Can I get away 1-2-3 coating screws with a 5.5inch box? Or even a single 3inch nail spotter? Thanks for any advice.

I'm thinking for Vora Classes 2nd Attempt Booster Batch, is it good? Otherwise JEE Nexus Crash Course? OR any other that you can recommend?
I am strong in Organic Chemistry, inorganic and physical bhi theek theek aate hai but need practice.
Physics is bare minimum right now but can be saved.

Thats why please suggest how should I prepare for second attempt to get something decent atleast like Thapar etc if not mid level NIT.

I’ve been out of the fandom for a bit so I have forgotten some details.
I know that Kit is a descendant of the first heir, Auraline. If Auraline was still alive, she would have the right to assume the throne of the united faerie courts.
However, since Kit is just a descendant does that claim get passed down to him as if he was the first heir? Or would Kits claim to the throne be pretty flimsy by this point.
I suppose even with a meagre claim at best, it is still stronger than any other character. Ash is only the heir to the Seelie throne and Kieran the king of Unseelie. Only Kit could say he had a claim to both, correct?
Also small theory… I wonder if the land of Faerie would recognize Kit as it’s rightful ruler due to intense magic associated with Auraline.

I am building a GUI window that consists of picture controls, I would like to provide tooltip hover for the picture control, so that the user can get a hint.
After messing around with a bunch call back functions and libraries, AddTooltip v2.0 - Add a Tooltip to Almost any GUI Control, appears to be the most ideal but it needs a control handle.
Does the picture control have a built in way to get its handle like the button control does?
