2025.01.27 19:10 camport95 AITA for getting hit by a car on my bike?

On September 2, 2020, I then 25/m (30 this summer) was hit in a busy tunnel in Ontario.
I was in the right of the right-hand lane, and somebody who was texting and driving struck me with downhill force.
I summersaulted several times over, and from shock and adrenaline ran towards the driver and immediately called 911 recorded at 7:07 a.m.
The driver assisted first aid, and was initially going to drive into the hospital himself and then I looked at the injury to my left leg, and it was torn wide open. there is also a laceration to the light leg but significantly smaller.
I began panicking because I thought it was going to bleed out. He pulled over and we then waited for the ambulance to arrive, to which it did at 7:18 a.m.
We got to the hospital, and stitched up both legs, and treated a right broken collarbone, as well as discovering that I was injured in the spine as well. The left laceration was so severe it required surgery, to which they had to put me to sleep for.
I had wonderful support from family and friends at the time but no information I could recall about the driver. I have no idea what he looked like and only could describe his car as a light colored sedan, and the only information that I could even recall was that his date of birth was April 7, 1995.
The highway was double laned on both sides of the tunnel, the north side of the tunnel had to the sidewalk but the south did not, I was east bound.
If you wanted to Google Map the location it was in the East Main Street tunnel in Welland, Ontario.
If I was hit in The Townline Tunnel I'd be dead no question (Or If I wasn't wearing a helmet) but The Thorold Tunnel, I would have a pretty good chance of survival.

I remember reading this fic at least one and a half years ago, here's what I remember:
The thing I remember the most was that the fic was kinda meta and often breaking the 4th wall, then there was 2 characters (Rainwings I think?) That found a strange trinket and used it to travel to alternate universes. There are two of those AU's they visited that I specifically remember the first one was " https://m.fanfiction.net/s/12405176/1/ " and the other AU was right outside JMA but literally every dragon in that AU was only eating grass and nothing else. I also kinda remember the 2 characters constantly fleeing from some entity that hunted them through all the AU's
That's all I remember and I hope someone else knows what Fic I'm talking about

2025.01.27 19:10 Dg_175 What type of split is needed to gain muscle and lose fat? How much cardio is too much?

My goal is to lose inches in the waist, make it more muscle and get bigger glutes. I'm 5'7 and 135 pounds so not a huge amount of weight I need gone. Currently my split looks like glutes, back, full legs (also glutes) triceps and shoulders. I heard it's good to do cardio at the end of each session so I plan to implement 20 minutes of stairmaster or incline walking. Should I do a day just for cardio and cut the other cardio out. Should I do a cardio day and the other cardio? I want a smaller waist but I also want to grow musle and glutes. Any advise would be appreciated

Hello guys, I was trying to improve my freekick skill in the game, so I’ve gone for the skill games (clubs mode) to achieve my goal.
But when I entered the training session, the camera doesn’t switch to the one that we see when playing a normal match.
I tried a lot of things like changing my clubs camera settings, closing the game and opening it again and etc. but nothing worked.
Anyone with the same problem? How do I solve this?

It’s funny how JD5 beat the buccaneers this year with less than hurts had to lose 33-9 to them last year. That we had literally the worst owner in sports history for 33 years and we still have more superbowls than them even if they win or lose next weekend. While we had the greatest rookie QB of all times with the 18th ranked scoring defense. With what Adam Peters has done so far there’s no way we shouldn’t be confident with what he has cooking for us next year. JD5 came to win yesterday and a lot of the other guys not all were there happy to just be there. Hang your heads high the culture is instilled and it’s only going up from here. Fuck Dan Synder miserable bum bitch ass that hates on us when we hated he turned a once beloved dynasty into a mess that our new ownership has done a fine job with so far. HTTR!!!! ✊🏽

2025.01.27 19:10 sweggles3900 I suck at this game, am I missing something? Or do I just need to 'get good'

Downloaded this game from gamepass a few days ago, and I love the art style and gameplay, I have no problem with the regular gameplay, but every time I make it to a boss that's past Brad I end up dying (only with a little HP left on the bosses health bar, but that doesnt matter) and I get killed by thanagers more often than not. I've seen people saying to use long range weapons, which does help a bit but only if one gets dropped. I don't think I fully understand how 'builds' work in the game. I spend gold before going into the level to upgrade weapons and usually try to stack red curses so my attack is stronger, is that a bad strategy? I also don't fully understand the control room and how that works for weapons upgrades. Do you get to keep the upgrade even when you die? And what's the difference between the big cauldron and the small cauldron? And how do curses actually work in this game? Thanks for any tips, this game doesn't really explain things very well as much as I love it it's a bit confusing.
