Afternoon,
So, I've been thinking about this one a bit. I think Ebsworth sells only 5 and 6% (I've unlocked 7% Hopeport which works for this example). Making a 6% costs about half as much as buying it from Ebby, but it's way more expensive than a 5%. Considering the time and effort and cost of different xp pots...is it worth using anything other than 5's pre-200? Are 5+ "worth it" before or even after 200, considering the costs, or is it just 5% all the way?
Curious if anyone else has thought about this. I have 230 Alch but it occurred to me this weekend that I don't even know if it's worth the time and money to be making these high-end potions. Would appreciate anyone else who has thought about this or has opinions. Thanks.

In the market for a touring setup, wasn’t going to buy new at first but I found a good deal on these skis and wondered if anyone has had experience with them.
I am mainly wondering if they powerful enough for occasional crud/ice despite their weight and if they have sufficient float in powder.
Other backcountry skis I have looked into: Atomic backland, BC camox freebird, Icelantic natural 101
W, 5’5, 145lbs, ski aggressively inbounds (CO) but am looking to do chill tours in the backcountry
