Nvidia (NVDA.O), opens new tab on Monday said Chinese AI firm DeepSeek's advances show the usefulness of its chips for the Chinese market and more of its chips will be needed in the future to meet demand for DeepSeek's services. "DeepSeek’s work illustrates how new models can be created using that technique, leveraging widely-available models and compute that is fully export control compliant," Nvidia said in a statement.
Nvidia shares had dropped 17% on Monday on investor concerns the Chinese firm had matched rivals such as OpenAI using far fewer Nvidia chips than U.S. firms. But DeepSeek was also struggling on Monday to accommodate an influx of new users. "Inference requires significant numbers of Nvidia GPUs and high-performance networking," Nvidia said in a statement. If they make it to the jury I assume that they get sent to some kind of hotel or resort? But if they get sent home before the jury are they just put on a plane and sent back to the US?

 | I started large scale map (Dakota 4X). It's an MP map, so no started farm, no starter equipment. I bought the smallest field on the map, harvested it and concreted it. This will be my yard. It's 4.3ha. As I imported a fully populated Autodrive XML for it, all fields have an edge path. This edge path, when converted to 1 way, became my "ring road" around the yard. ONE WAY SYSTEM! There are several entries and exits which just join or leave the ring road. The first placed item was the "Entry silo", where most goods will enter the yard. Right beside the main entry, in a corner, an off shoot recorded path over the dump ramp and immedaitely hook back to the ring road. Trying to keep this path as short as possible. The general idea is for new silos, production plants or sheds even, branch off the ring road inward and then a counter ring road sends them opposite-ways towards the ringroad. So the out ring road is clockwise, should you leave it to pass through a silo or plant, you end up on an anti-clockwise inner ring towards your exit. The mid game is for smaller trailers and small tractors to shuttle around what cannot be "Distributed" by productions in the inner finds of the yard. While keeping heavies and semi's the the enterior. Stops every time though, no matter what I do with levelling or with the course. Another time, I'll just not leave enough space and ... its ruined. The next time I will waste vast amount of space and end up with 2 silos and a production plant in a 2ha meddow. Does anyone else concrete entire fields just to build automated autodrive yards, or is it just me? Please share your techniques, oneway, twoway? Grid? Flow left to right?
