I've been wanting to find community ever since I came out 2 - 3ish years ago but my anxiety disorder plus having general social anxiety & fear of being perceived was absolutely beating my ass so I would try to go, get ready & then have a huge anxiety attack & never make it out the door. I also feared showing up hours from home just to have an anxiety attack out in public & be seen as weird by community members. Thoughts like that lead to even more anxiety to where I just gave up leaving the house all together for any reason after even previously safe places started to close in on me.
But over the last few months I've started to feel better & I've started learning how to handle my anxiety attacks on my own even if I am in public since I lost my home for a hot second & had no choice but to be around others if I wanted to avoid being unhoused.
I eventually got things together, got my own place again & even adopted the perfect cat for me 🥰. I've been feeling more confident in my ability to be accepted in the community if I showed up at an event alone. And then I had a small car accident that disabled my vehicle leaving me trapped at home all over again. 🥲🫠 It literally happened 2 weeks before the first event I was planning to go to & the cost to repair my vehicle was so insanely high i just had them tow my car home & basically just had to leave it sitting. It was really frustrating to have been trapped at home because of me & then when I'm finally feeling good enough to leave home I get trapped again by circumstances.
So yeah I'm wondering if there's an online local event kinda thing? Since it seems like that's my only option at this point. Maybe I can try to meet ppl remotely & then eventually fix my car & go out to events later. I've never heard of what I'm looking for but fingers crossed. 🤞🏾 Thanks in advance

Hey All,
We are quite an open minded family living outside of India for the past 2 decades. Dealing with quite a difficult issue relating to my sister's marriage. My parents have been working with my sister on her marriage prospects for the last 4 years (started when she was 26). She has been with her Arab boyfriend since the past 7 years but its been a semi toxic relationship (cheating, fights etc). Both lack accountability and have horrible lifestyle choices leading them to have virtually no savings despite my sister being a doctor. He is a language teacher and part time DJ...
My sister has now taken a firm stance on wishing to marry him and has completely rejected all the rishtas that my parents have sent over. My parents are happy with the thought of a love marriage but unfortunately, the difference in religion, financial wellbeing and general difference in calibre between my sister and him makes this relationship out of the question. I have tried telling her that based on your lifestyle etc, a financial burden will hit and they will not be able to withstand it. He is 28 and only just getting a degree in languages (fluncked out of his pharmacy course years ago). He has a very delusional 'If it think it, it will happen' attitude where he expects everything will work out in his favor. But there are no results.
Beyond this, there was a physical altercation between me and him last year because he spat on my sister and I beat him up. I think that alone should have been the reason for the end of all this.
It seems like my sister has made her choices but is there anyway to come out of this situation? How do I help my parents cope with this? Its breaking my heart to see what my parents are being put through (they have very humble beginnings but worked very very hard to educate me and my sister abroad and it feels like a massive F U from her side. Ofcourse all parents try their best and its not like the children have to pay it back but its the lack of respect and appreciation for all their work).
What to do? I am out of energy to keep trying to convince her but always want to be there for my parents.

HOT TAKE: Undertale isn't that great. Okay, so, I want to make it clear that I DON'T hate Undertale or Deltarune. In fact, I used to love them! But one day, I was digging through Nintendo Switch Online, and saw Earthbound. I heard it was what inspired Toby to make his stuff. I played it, fell in love with it (and the whole Mother trilogy) and it made me cry. (I never cried once with Toby Fox games) It was beautiful and one of the best rpgs I ever played. I went back to Undertale and... it was pretty underwhelming. A lot of the stuff I loved was in Earthbound and Mother 3, but better, and more beautiful. Now I don't understand why people like Undertale so much. Please, don't take this as hate or anything, I just want to know why everyone loves it so much. So, if you're willing, please tell me what you love about it that MotheEarthbound doesn't have. (I'm also not saying it's perfect, I'm just saying I like MotheEarthbound more.)

Hi everyone! My friends and I love to play in smaller format games, and for the last few weeks, 1000 pts has been our go to. Since I went big into Krieg, I now have two artillery teams from the new box set and I'm planning on running two of them as the siege cannon for my anti tank in my 1000 points list. However, I usually go for Leman Russes, (2), and they completely annihilate my opponent's vehicles (Vanqu + Leman Russ Commander). I haven't tested the siege cannon yet, but has anyone had any experience with them as far as anti tank goes? Would you say double siege canon is a viable anti tank option?

Hello, it has come to a point where I’ve been searching around the internet for months and feel like I still don’t know how to correctly diet or workout properly as I don’t have a gym membership but I do have a home gym in my basement that has dumbbell’s, a bench press, and a pull machine that lets me do tricep and back workouts. I've been working out since may of 2023 and I'd say lost about 30 pounds. Can someone please tell me if I’m doing things correctly, what to add/remove etc. Im 20 years old, currently weigh at 180, 5'5, and I'd say my body fat is at 25%. Im working towards a slim body with body fat at 15%. My weekly workout routine follows:
Day 1: Chest, Triceps, shoulders
Chest:
-bench press 3x12
-dumbbell press (angled at 45 degrees) 3x12
-Push ups 3x6-8
-Triceps: dumbbell tricep extension 3x12-15
-Tricep pull-down 3x15
-Tricep dips 3x8-10
-Shoulders: overhead press 3x10
-Lateral rises 3x10
-Front raises 3x10
Day 2: Bicep and back
Bicep:
-bicep curls 3x12
-Side hammer curls 3x10
-Spider curls 3x10
-Back: Y raises 3x10
-Lat pull downs
-Reverse fly
Day 3: legs and abs
-Squats (25lbs) 3x15
-Calf raises
-leg extensions (front and back of legs)
Abs
-plank 4x30 secs
-Russian twists (10lbs) 3x20
-leg raises (lying down)
-V up (modified where my hands are to my waist and I crunch and push out)
REPEAT again and after day 3 is a rest day.
For my diet, for breakfast I usually eat a banana and 2-3 eggs. Lunch id say is a protein shake and some lettuce (1 cup) and then for dinner it’s the same thing as lunch.
