Wanted to get off my chest my thoughts about the different stages ive been through heartbreak for 7 years.
Because wierdly, i felt truly i had been through all of them. The classic hurt and denial, gaining self love and progress and finding new passions brought me through it all.
Lately, ive been having chest pains from choking on my tears, going for a walk and physically not being able to continue.
I am not just mourning her being out of my life, but as if she is actually dead.
At work i am numb, still tired from sore muscles, they were all recruited to try and keep the heart muscle inside the chest.
Makes me wonder if this is what is the true progress i am making, is this the actual pain my body feels about her or something…
Thank you for this sub, it is unique in the way everybody here can not give a shit about anybody and yet, still, there is love here

A friend of mine created this detailed dog training series a couple of years ago and I feel like it doesn't get the love it deserves. He's a fully accredited dog trainer and built these courses over several years in order to save new dog owners money. Ang cold, tulad ng January. Ang cold na pinili ko yun mga pinipili ng marami. Ang cold na pinili ko yun kailangan at hindi yun gusto. It's not an isolated case, its a sad economy, im not born with generational wealth, but maybe I should be grateful because it made me have these views and perspective where I can learn more about empathy and whats happening in society. But could I have learnt it in another way? Would I be who I am now if I was born in a different class?
Wisdom that comes from practicality, ang cold. I chose my course kasi I need to survive, I dont resent every day of my life, but it stabs me in the chest every now and then when I see people who loves studying/ doing it. Ang swerte, what's conventionally practical pa yun naging passion nila. Grabe yun what if, the different scenes my mind comes up with and intereprets with a pencil, the colors I used to pour out my heart on a piece of paper, I missed that era, it isn't gone, nakatabi lang sya for now pero nakaka miss din during these hours where I feel like drawing out my thoughts. Pero grabe yun what if.
Would I have enjoyed it if I used it as a way to live?
I saw a post saying art shouldve stayed as a human behavior, it shouldnt have been a skill and I couldnt agree more. It argued that cave paintings came to be not because of a demand of illustration, but a past time the first evolved humans used to do, it wasnt a commission, it wasnt a competition, it was purely a behavioral thought humans did after surviving in the wild. Nowadays, it added, art was commercialised to the point that if youre into it you feel this pressure that you needed yo be good at it, that it should be a skill. What was once an innocent behavior now something we all must be pressured to be good at if we took an interest in it. Don't get me wrong what resulted was beautiful paintings and frescos in earlier eras but I cant help but see today's art as something so bland, a lame excuse as its said to be anyone's interpretation of it. What happened to the expressions? Impressions? The capture of light and bold shadows? The specific meaning of each illustration that captivates its viewers into what it meant rather than leaving many meanings to a blank slate smothered in two colors? Ang gulo ng isip ko. I miss art.
Practicality, we need it, ang cold pero its important. Our heart may be the first to react to a decision pero its the mind that holds impprtance to how we should act by how we felt. Right choices often don't feel good, what it differs in wrong choices is that the right choice will make you feel bad only at the start. A wrong one will make you feel bad for the rest of your life. So I guess what I chose to be career wise might benefit me. I don't wanna be stuck at what ifs, tinabi ko lang naman yun gusto ko, kaya ko naman sya balikan, pero yun pangangailangan ko, dapat nasakin yan araw araw.
Pero ang cold no? Ang lamig.

Last month I came across a post here about a gardening kit that comes with a bunch of uncommon seeds and a book with recipes for herbal remedies that can be made from the plants. I thought it'd make a cool addition to my garden this year and the fact that it's made by Nicole who was on season 2 and 4 of the show Alone sold me even further because I love that show.
I can't find the original post but I want to thank them for sharing and tell anyone who was on the fence to go for it. I've planted everything so I'll share updates and photos of my garden as it grows in the comments of this post. The book written by Nicole goes over everything you can make with the plants from ointments and teas all the way to essential oils and infusions. These plants are not something you'd find in a normal store so they make for a unique addition to your garden.

A couple months ago, TJ Godbey, an officer with Danville DP in Kentucky, brazenly and brutally assaulted a poor man suffering from dementia. The report was falsified, and the incident was kicked under the rug. That is, until the man’s family hired the towns best lawyer, and he uncovered the truth.
The video came out last week, and the officer was seen in uniform today. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. I’m trying my best to get the community fired up about this, but it seems many are taking it lying down. Any help, shares, or coverage would be appreciated.

It baffles me that UA gives free preferred seat selection to the lowest MP status holders but puts *A gold members in the back of the bus.
I wouldn't be bothered so much if the "not upcharged" part of the plane wasn't just the back like four rows, and I'm forced to sit in like 35B or something if I don't wanna pay $80. It feels like UA actively wants us to just fly Delta or something since what's the point if I can't use my aeroplan benefits?

I have opened a Fidelity DAF. I plan to fund it with enough asset to pay for the annual fees. The reason I want the DAF is for it to serve as the back-up beneficiary on my IRAs. If I die before my wife, she gets the IRA, but if she dies before me, I want the IRAs to go to the DAF. I plan to fund the DAF with 2K worth of appreciated stock. First, is this a sensible thing to do? Second is there a fee for this transfer either from Vanguard or Fidelity.
