2025.01.27 19:31 arcadiaorgana MSI VENTUS 2X 4070 Super or ASUS 4070?
I wanted an ASUS 4070 Super but it is never in stock anymore. However, they have the 4070 in stock.
MSI Ventus 2x 4070 Super is available but I've heard very mixed reviews about the plastic backing and temps. Some people say theirs runs beautifully and others say stay away.
What would you recommend I do? For context, I've never gamed on anything besides 1080p and don't really plan to go above that. But never say never, I guess. I might look into it someday. I do want good FPS and quality though and to be able to stream/game at the same time.

Im sub who just had a findom dynamic end badly, and I’m struggling to process it. For a month, I tried my best to serve my domme—sending morning greetings, doing tasks (like complimenting coworkers), and sharing personal updates. At first, she seemed supportive and pushed me to improve my life (gym consistency, etc.), but things turned confusing. She’d disappear for days, then criticize me for “failing” to meet her expectations. For example, she’d say things like, “You don’t deserve my attention today,” or blame me for not being proactive enough. When I finally asked for better communication due to time zone issues, she blocked me with just a “good luck 👋.”

First time. Not sure if I expected a crowd exactly but with Garth passing I assumed there’d be either a few other fans or that the current owners would be vigilant about lookeloos like me.
Nope. It was quiet, little ice on the ground and the day broke open around a few huge clouds. Nobody else around. I took a picture and then just stood for a while. Listened to the wind in the trees and imagined how they heard the same breezes and filled in the silence with their music.
Felt special and I wanted to share. RIP Garth and of course RIP to all the members as well.

2025.01.27 19:31 bob11eeee444 I feel like oda has got too much stuff going in one piece to have a satisfying ending.
We have characters like black beard and dragon who we still don't know their full backstory, we've got the full explanation of what happened in the void century, what happened between Roger and the rocks pirates, each of the strawhats fulfilling their dreams, the revolutionary army Vs the marines and finally the fight and what exactly is the one piece.
These are things that I can remember from the top of my head I could have missed some important ones.
I hope these events aren't rushed because then they would be a disappointment :/

2025.01.27 19:31 Pleasant-Art-2655 AITA for not waiting to pay for another party member and leaving her to find her way home.
I am 32 single home owner and hard worker, I work 12-16 hour days mostly out of town, some in town. My best friend had her bachelorette party and I offered to drive (her and her sister) and was asked to bring her additional friends instead and that they would take another car.
A weeks before I found out I would be leaving for out of town 8 hours north the Monday after returning from pano wich is a 6 hour drive south east. So I explained I had too much to do meal prep/clean/pack (I worked a full week prior and also took 4 days off for this stag) and would be leaving sat night or very early Sunday and didn't have time to drop people off out of the way .
The girl I brought up in the stag is someone we went to high school with and is her friend not mine; and the other girl was going home with her man the next day.
As you'd expect a 4 day Bach lots of events - She mentions she didn't bring a form of payment for the weekend and asked once we were out the first night after already ordering her many drinks and appys that she needed someone to pay but would e-transfer them end of the weekend. No one in the group knew her so no one offered until the bride looked at me and me being a people pleaser just said ya no problem... even though I don't have a lot of extra free income.
The weekend passes lots of outings, dinners, drinks and at the end I bring up concern that she hadn't yet offered to pay me back- the bride asked if I had kept all the receipts for her outings or that I had paid for everything separately (I'm with the credit union and pay for each transaction) and I said no she's no my child, I didn't think I would have to track it for her. Flip to the fact everyone thinks I should have been collecting her bills at the end of every night. I didn't so I just guesstimated since I don't drink and would only order one meal when out.
Come sat night and I'm packing to leave and she's crying that she wants to go home and would like to come back with me. I told her I'm stretched thin and driving her back is an extra hour out of my way when I would be driving 14+ hours in the next 24 hours and needed the time to prep for my three weeks away. All of the girls made me feel like I was stranding her 8 hours out of town ( even though they already planned to just pack tight and go together when we first discussed) . And now I am un invited to the second stag and everyone acting like I'm a huge bech.

I'm totally addicted to the soundtrack. A few of the songs have heavily distorted lyrics and I'm wondering if anyone has written down what those are?
I don't mean GPU or Papa Tree, those are clear, I mean everything else!
Astronomical (Astro Bot Remix) near the end has some whispered lyrics that repeat
Follow Me (Into the Storm) starts with something that sounds like "liberty, liberty"?
There are others too.. can you make out what Astro's singing?

Its been a while since i've done one of these, so i have reviewed 8 songs to make up for lost time
Present tense is from a moon shaped pool. The single guitar at the beginning sets up a perfect scene for the song’s lyrics. Despite the repeated lyrics, they still leave an impact, especially ‘in you, I’m lost”. This song ranks about in the middle of this album. Thom’s lyricism is still phenomenal even in the later stages of the band.
SCORE – 8/10
Another song from AMSP. Decks dark is my personal favourite from this album. After the first ‘into your darkest hour’, the chorus of angels is just perfection. The whole flow and sound of this masterpiece makes it easily the best song on this album. Decks dark also flows perfectly into the next song of review, desert island disk. SCORE – 10/10(FAVOURITE ON AMSP)
Desert island disk is unfortunately, a step down from the 3 previous songs, with the first 3 on AMSP all being 10/10. Desert island disk is still a decent song. The flow of the song is calming and relaxing which is unique for a Radiohead song. It sounds like a perfect song from a long trip. SCORE – 7/10
Moving from AMSP, we have LIFE IN A GLASS HOUSE. This is another song which is overlooked by most fans, due to songs on amnesiac such as pyramid song and I might be wrong getting more attention. This does not take away the fact that this song is another highlight from this underappreciated album. The intro gives me chills, and puts you into an old school setting, something like a film noir. This is a very close second to the best on amnesiac, but the score should be obvious at this point. SCORE – 10/10
Sticking with amnesiac, we have HUNTING BEARS. It is hard to review instrumentals, especially ones like this. This song provides an interesting sound, something that I think would fit like a glove on the glow part 2 by the microphones. I don’t have much more to add. It is a good instrumental, but as a song, it falls falt. SCORE – 4/10
For the sixth song of this review, we have FERAL from TKOL. TKOL itself is a very polarising album. Many like it for songs like lotus flower and separator and some hate it for the length and this song. A contender for radiohead’s worst, feral is an interesting track with not a lot of substance. It is unique, not sounding similar to anything radiohead have done. Feral itself though is a forgettable song from this album, with no lyrics and not much replay value. SCORE 3/10(WORST ON TKOL)
For the seventh song, we go to PARANOID ANDROID from OK COMPUTER. Bit of a huge switch going from one of the worst to the consensus best. It is an easy top 10 choice for the band. The verses vary so wildly from the sombre ‘rain down’ verse to the ‘whats that’ chorus. This is one of their best ever tracks, and it deserves all of the credit it gets. SCORE – 10/10
Sticking with OK COMPUTER, we have FITTER HAPPIER. This is an infamous song from this perfect album. The song utilises a computer voice to sing some somewhat disturbing lyrics about a person’s life. Some of the lyrics have become iconic such as ‘a pig in a cage on anti-biotics’. It is easily one of the least listenable songs in radiohead’s discography. Sorry for this rating but I feel it is accurate. SCORE – 2/10(WORST ON OK COMPUTER)
The final song of this marathon is treefingers from kid a. Similar to hunting bears, this is a hard song to score due to there being no lyrics. It is a perfect bridge between How To Disappear Completely and optimistic. The song itself hilariously sounds like something you would hear in a C418 album. SCORE – 3/10(WORST ON KID A)

2025.01.27 19:31 oceanco1122 How do we feel about shiplap vaulted ceilings?
 | These are all examples I found online. My living room is not large square footage wise, but it has a vaulted ceiling that goes up to the second floor landing and I wanted to get rid of the popcorn and replace it with shiplap. I’m trying to find a style I like, and I know it’s heavily dependent on the other decor in the room but I’m mainly worried about how small it will make the room feel. I’m more of a fan of the natural wood boards with natural wood crossbeams but worried that’ll be too dark and make the room feel claustrophobic. On the other hand I’ve seen white painted shiplap with or without natural wood crossbeams but people usually get angry with painting white over natural wood.
