I'm just a level 8 noob brand new to wow and I'm struggling to enjoy the game yet. I just want to grind solo, fight monsters, get xp, and not have to sit here watching my character run on screen for any significant period of time, especially be stuck in a town trying to find a person that's on different floor or behind a wall, just ends up being a chore. Sorry, rant over, I just want to find a way to love the game as much as you guys do.

2025.01.27 19:41 frobnosticus Off the wall discussion question: Any of you fellow Satisfactory addicts NOT technologists?
Just occurred to me this weekend.
I can do an 18 hour Satisfactory session without blinking. But if I don't restrict myself then it cuts in to project work time.
One problem is that it tickles the EXACT same portion of my brain as doing software architecture work. All the weird creative problem solving, having to do buckets of rote routine work. Managing and balancing resources and bottlenecks, those "wait...I could just....and then it's all so much simpler!"
It's so very MUCH so that I now feel guilty playing the game because of how heavy the overlap is.
I started wondering: How many people are "all in on Satisfactory" and don't realize it's the precise "way of thinking" required for software development?
Is this a "wait wut?" moment for anyone or are we all just having a collective "duh, no s*** sherlock" moment?
(Of course what this makes me wonder, in turn, is how much stuff do we do that's suggestive of things we'd be really good at and love, but were never exposed to? Probably lots.)

2025.01.27 19:41 Historical-Use-881 How should I combine values from one list to populate a column on another?
I've got an app fed by 2 SharePoint lists. On the first, each item is a unique contract. On the second, each item is the monthly costs associated with the contracts from the first list. List1 contains a column named contractID and its values serve as a unique identifier for each contract. Those values are also present in List2 under a column named 'contract ID', though they're obviously not unique.
I need to be able to take a value from List1.contractID column, find the items from List2 with a matching value in List2.'Contract ID', find the sum of the values in List2.Total for those items, and then record that number back in a column on List1. This would be such a simple task outside of the platform, but I'm trapped in some sort of hell with Power Automate instead.
Is there a different way I should be approaching this?

When it arrived it was only slightly browned. I figured the week-long trip in a dark box hurt it a little bit. I soaked it in water for 20 minutes, let it dry completely, and then put it on my wall inside and it’s been slowly declining since. The other ones it came with are fine. Maybe I should put it in a more humid place? I think it’s tillandsia capitata.

Date: It is a weekend event, Friday 26th is arrival and setup day, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th are game days.

“Oh I don’t have any kit” Don’t worry, we are making rental kits for the UNSC, UEF and even some Grunt and Jackal kits for the Covenant!
“Oh my guns aren’t scif-fi enough” Don’t worry we can help with that, plenty of people on the discord have been making 3D kits for various airsoft weapons, and at the end of the day, an AK with a few greebles is better than the ungreebled AK from the TV Show! (Well, it would be if there was a TV Show! XD).
“Can I play as ODST?” Yes, the factions are UNSC, primarily marines but with ODST's as specialists inside the faction
“Can I be a Spartan?” Yes! But be warned, the kit requirements will be high.
"Can I play an Elite/Brute?" Also yes! We already have one Sanghelli build in the works as the IC of the Covenant faction, but again, see above, the requirements will be high.
“Will there be pictures taken during the event?” Yes there will be pictures taken and videos, if you don’t want to be in the pictures then we can discuss this.
“Is there food provided?” No, sadly you will have to bring your own food, or you can order food from the local town. There will be a supply shop open so you can buy snacks and drinks if you want.

Hello everyone, my name is Chris. Here's a bit about me:
Physical: 20 year old black male, 5 foot 8 inches tall. I weigh a little bit under 150 lbs, so I have a very slim build, with a muscular undertone. Medium black hair, brown eyes, and a mini black goatee with a faded moustache. I do not wear glasses, but I own some pair of frames that I wear sometimes for fashionable purposes.
Personality/interests: In all honesty, it largely depends on who I'm around, and my comfort level with those people. I can be an introvert around the people who I have yet to get to know, or an extrovert around people I'm comfortable with, and have gotten to know. If we don't relate much to each other, I'll most likely be the silent type of person, and will not say too much. My family often tells me that's the observant part of me, which I can see for myself. If we do relate to each other, and have something interesting to talk about, then I will happily sit and chat for hours. I have some of the basic interests such as gaming (fantasy and RPG games), researching technological/historical topics, and classic crime shows/films. The Wire is my favorite show ever; I've rewatched it three times already. I also love board games such as Monopoly and Candyland. I am majoring in Cybersecurity, with a minor in Criminal Justice.
Why am I here?: I haven't really focused too much on losing my virginity due to having been homeschooled a lot, and therefore having a lack of exposure to the op. I was very shy and socially awkward for some time, up until the beginning of last year, when I started getting out more, and being more social with people.
What am I looking for?: Ideally, I'm looking for someone who is experienced. Have a column of weblinks and I'm tired of always having to right click and "remove hyperlink" every time I accidentally click on a cell that has a link in it. It keeps turning into a hyperlink whenever I click back. Is there a way to remove the hyperlink and then KEEP it that way so I don't have to worry about opening a link everytime I click in a cell with a link?

O filme aborda uma temática importante tentando se prender em um certo cuidado, colocando emoção e carisma nos personagens, e acredito que, por isso, eu não consigo detestá-lo por inteiro. Ainda assim, é mais um filme sobre o México que volta a cutucar a ideia da criminalidade no país, mas que não se esforça de fato para deixar isso bem construído, já que o próprio diretor admitiu ter feito o filme sem nenhum estudo profundo, e o elenco conta apenas com uma atriz mexicana com um papel que sequer é o principal.
Todas as cenas da Selena são terríveis, do espanhol mal falado ao roteiro vergonhoso, quando ela aparecia eu só conseguia achar cômico. Eu contei 15 cenas musicais no filme onde só julguei duas como verdadeiramente necessárias, o restante serve para explicar coisas sem esforço, dramatizar momentos sem necessidade ou tentar gerar simpatia.
Acredito de verdade que tenha existido uma tentativa de fazer com que o filme entregasse a crítica principal que, por sinal, é extremamente válida e invisibilizada. Ainda assim, Emilia Perez se propõe a ser um musical, um drama e uma crítica, só para deixar todas as propostas incompletas.

Yo! Me and a few others will be starting a run with Reforged Eden 2 this week and we wanted to open this run up to the community. Our goal is to meet a few like-minded folks that enjoy hanging in discord chat and playing games together. There will just be a few of us playing and are willing to take 3 people in. If a small group of mid-30 to early 40 year olds that love to rip on each other while completely destroying poi's and eating them afterwards sounds up your alley, throw me a DM!

2025.01.27 19:40 JJpezboy Version 1.22.0 - Issues with decreased number of exercises.
I noticed that with this new version the number of sets for a workout has decreased in some of my days.
I do a customized: Push, Pull, Leg, Full Body Split with a time target of about 45 minutes.
In the past I would get at least 5 different exercises for each workout day. Some days it would give a 6th exercise.
I noticed now on several days that it will only provide 3-4 exercises even though my recovery is 100%.
Anyone else having this issue?
