I have been playing Magik for a while now and i can't help but notice that her portals do not give me invulnerability half the time, i would be half way in the portal on my own screen but in kill cam i would not even make a portal appear. im really wondering what others experiences with that are because its really infuriating knowing i go into it and still being killed.. and my friend telling e "ur just bad"

2025.01.27 19:41 theeama After the Hot Fix Nerf Mel's WR is declining
 | I know its popular to hate on new champ releases because people are too lazy to actually read and try them out on the practice tool but Riot has done their special to Mel. After releasing her a bit too strong they have gutted her passive which makes Mel incapable of scaling into the game. Mel at this point thanks to gutting her passive has 0 mid-late game spike. If she's fed and up against a bruiser or tank with one single MR item Mel is capable of reaching the execution threshold it might as well not exist because you're not hitting it. What is even more concerning is that Mel's WR is declining over time the only thing increasing is her Banrate which is only high because League players fail to understand how to play around abilities. https://preview.redd.it/dtss1z8l3lfe1.png?width=1051&format=png&auto=webp&s=2405006911643c7016d7deab299a10fcf3b1cefa If we look at it logically and take feelings out of play. Mel Q: Her Q is not undodgeable, her Q is projectiles that you, you can take maybe the first one or two hits but stepping back or stepping forward means you miss everything. The only time her Q does full damage is if they just stand there tank all of it without even wanting to move or do anything. Mel W: Her W is strong but it's no different than Windwall or Braum Door, you bait it out and it's useless. Mel W is the last thing she will max if you take all CDR runes and CDR items(which means you're doing negative damage) It's 18 seconds at level 18. For most of laning phase its 30 second cooldown. In team fights, Mel shouldn't never be on the front line but again once her W is used a simple reengage and she's dead. Mel's biggest weakness is if she's engaged on she's dead. She has no mobility, and is walking minion to all the multiple dashes that these teams have. Mel's E: At-least 40 champions have this ability in some shape or form. Your basic Midlane mage CC. The only reason why Mel's ban rate is so high is typical league player syndrome, see something crazy don't take the time to understand it or even play it and then ban it because "New Champ OP, 200 Years, RIOT!" However Riot has created a problem that now that people think Mel is strong any buffs to the champion will only increase her WR. We started with 8" Quad coil (15.5 ga) + 1" foam + 3" SOL Medium Latex with a quilted cotton/wool Sleep Ez encasement (12"). Waayyy too hard. I'm 157# and wife is 122#. We're both more or less side sleepers, rarely stomach. What would be a reasonable next move to something softer? Thinking about a 3" Talalay top layer 19 ILD from APM? or go to a 14 ? I've read that the encasement can add to the firmness but honestly it's not that tight across the top.
