Why do some systems work well with Retroarch but for others im experiencing console freezing and time outs? Also why can some roms be kept in their zip folders while others can not? Was very time consuming downloading these roms and now they cant even be opened and played unless I unzip.

I bought these radio's they still work and are all Philips radio's the first picture is from 1940 works and i hear sound if i hold self made antenna correctly but only from i think japan poland and turkey the second picture is from 1937 lights work but no sound the 3th radio is the same can somebody help me do i need a better antenna so yea wich one because i would like to hear the radio from my own country the netherlands

I am 8w1d today with an IVF pregnancy (this was FET #5, three prior chemicals). Today was my “graduation” from my clinic. It ended up going absolutely terribly.
I had a new person I’ve never met before who did the ultrasound. She measured the gestational sac several times and stated that is measuring small, at 7w0d. Baby was measuring right on track and heart rate was 161bpm.
I couldn’t get a straight answer out of her on whether or not this was concerning. She is a PA, not an ultrasound technician. She kept saying that the baby was measuring fine and the heartbeat was good, so she “wouldn’t be too worried”. She said that if the measurement of the baby was behind or if the heart rate was outside of the normal range (160-180bpm), in addition to the gestational sac measuring small, she would have more concerns.
Overall she was super dismissive. And of course I went straight to google and saw that gestational sacs measuring behind (specifically when the CRL is less than 5mm smaller than the gestational sac, mine is 4.2mm) the prognosis is incredibly bleak.
I’m so discouraged. I was finally allowing myself to get excited for this pregnancy after so many chemical pregnancies in the past. I feel so devastated. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge on this?

2025.01.27 19:18 MazdaValiant To Buy A New Car or Not?
My 2019 Mazda CX-3 has been in some shop or other for two months straight.
I unfortunately hit a deer in November, and it took the body shop over a month to fix it; that deer took out my grille and my passenger headlight assembly.
Now my car needs its oil pump replaced. The shop ordered a new oil pump twice, and both times it didn’t fit. So they had to go with the OEM part. They put out an emergency call to every Mazda dealer in the United States, and literally NOBODY has an oil pump available. So now I’m stuck waiting for the part to come off backorder, with an ETA of June (!).
I can’t wait that long because I live in a car-dependent area. What would you do: try and stick it out until June or just buy a new car and get it over with?

Not sure about that flair, but this is both a question and a rant.
We have petites and plus sizes, and pants with long inseams. And I know not enough of them.
But so few brands have tall tops or long tops, or long / tall swimsuits. Are women with long torsos really that rare?
I’m tired of stretching and pulling and generally going without.
Also, do we really need every bra manufactured in 700 bra sizes?

2025.01.27 19:18 AnEsotericWanderer 24F returning to singlehood and not sure how to.
I've been going through a break up and something that is bothering me is returning to self and singlehood.
The internet keeps saying do all the things you did before but those activities don't really spark the same joy as before and l feel like a completely different person from who l was when l did those activities as well.
This feels like a complete 180 and im not sure who l am anymore or how to fully be single and enjoy it.
The internet is telling me to solodate and journal and meditate but it all feels woo woo because l feel so different and out of alignment with myself.
Here l am turning to you guys because I just know how to process this anymore and l want to enjoy being single.
