2025.01.27 19:30 RoseOfSharonCassidy How does the model selection work for the 5090 launch?
I've read in their FAQ that you basically line up and get a voucher for a 5090. The voucher guarantees you will get a 5090 but does not guarantee a particular model. How does that part work? Will you get a second to compare and decide or do you need to know immediately which one you want?
I do have two in mind for first & second choice, but I am not sure if I need to go through them all and figure that part out ahead of time.

So I work for Medline, and just last Wednesday I was speaking to this coworker M30 let’s call him Drake. Drake is a flirt but he’s really friendly in the warehouse and generally liked. He also has a friend M24 Well call him Max. I was acquainted with both of them since my first week, they’ve been working there for years and I’m still in my 90 days (technically because I went on vacation for 28 days) moving on.. Wednesday I had an innocent conversation with Drake about maybe getting a ride to my house because I explained my living situation is bad and I don’t drive or have a license because I never had the money or the time (btw I’m F20) we were discussing how I use the bus sometimes, where I live, where I bounce from etc. maybe not even 30 min later I was in the middle of an aisle in the warehouse on my order picker and I had an airpod in one ear (I understand) I took it out and I was caught by Drake and at first he was saying how he couldn’t give me a ride and then was caught off guard and saw my airpod. He asked if I had one in and I jokingly said you ain’t gon tell on me right? And he explained how this other coworker we have got fired on the spot for having AirPods in and said that if he reports me, I’ll get fired. Of course I know this because it’s company policy and even OSHA policy i believe (correct me if I’m wrong) but he then explains how he’s interested in becoming a trainer and he’ll do my paperwork because if he reports me it will make him ‘look good’ so I said “then report me it’s whatever” and he said “don’t you like this job?” — “well ofc, I love this job” and I can’t remember everything word for word but he then started talking about money and I explained to him that my PTO had been exhausted and wasn’t used during my vacation so since I’m working for the first time this week that I will get paid on the 31st and I said I’m broke I have nothing to give and then he asked if I had anything valuable and looked up and down at me. I said no I have nothing. And he said “I wouldn’t say nothing, how much do you care about your job” and I said I love my job and of course I want to keep it but I’m not gonna pay you or keep owing you in order to hold onto it. I kept saying “I have nothing I literally have nothing” and he kept eyeing me down and said “I wouldn’t say nothing” and I finally said “wait no you don’t mean——THAT?” And he just said “Well how much do you love your job” and I told him I’m in a relationship and I would never have sex to keep or get a job. And he just told me to think about it and drove away on his reach. I told a female coworker what happened as soon as it happened and asked for advice and then I took it and talked to my manager who said I should really inform my supervisor. Which I did. And I made a report 6pages long explaining as many details as I could remember and mentioning who I discussed this with (which manager which coworker) and she said that she will update me on what happens after mine and his report goes to HR and they review it and conduct an investigation. I decided not to go to work that following Thursday because as I said he’s very liked in the warehouse and I was so scared that no one would believe me or that nobody would like me anymore. I didn’t want to face any of it immediately after the fact. So when I came to work last night imagine my surprise when 2 coworkers F52 and M28 came up to me and talked to me privately saying that I’m not the only one with sexual harassment allegations around Drake. 4 women including me have had similar experiences. And they even gave me words of encouragement and said they’ll make statements if they have to and that they’ll give the names of the other girls to the supervisors so they can consult with them directly to hear their stories as well. SOOOOOOOOOO My problem though is that because I broke company policy I may be terminated. And although what he did was workplace sexual harassment. The likelihood of me staying and him leaving is very slim. I’m so scared. I come from a troubled home and bounce between houses and struggling with money for food and even college right now if held up so this job really means a lot me. It’s all I have right now and I don’t know how theyll look at it or evaluate it. Should I be worried about losing my job? Should I start applying somewhere new? Should I file a lawsuit if I do get fired? I have so many thoughts.. please share and repost and I want everyone’s thoughts opinions please anything. I want to hear it. Whether it gives me hope or the strength to keep moving foward facing the inevitable………….. whatever it is. Please respond. Thank you for reading. It is appreciated.

2025.01.27 19:30 Discontitulated What would be a therapist response to a generalized "they wouldn't have done it for me" when you know they're right the vast majority of the time?
I know generalizations are bad but when an experience becomes consistent enough across multiple people I think its fair to make them so as to protect yourself, your time, energy, and effort.
One thought based on a lot of experience that keeps me in check with people in general when thinking about doing something positive for them is "they wouldn't have done it for me" (so why should I do it for them).
I've been wondering what a therapist would say to that because for anyone who goes out of their way for others in general will know how frequently it is true to the point a generalization seems reasonable but it also comes off quite cynical which I'm guessing isn't something a therapist would want to encourage.

So I tried searching but most posts are like a year+ old. Some before HM was a thing.
I’ve tried using some build planners. I read through the HoF.
My question is this: I want to run an Abj Wizard, Sorcerer of some variety, and a BardLock with a Monk.
My problem is my encyclopedic knowledge of gear is wanting. So I turn to y’all.
The biggest issue I see is the BardLock (10/2) and the Sorc competing for gear. I thought of making the Sorc a Druid for all the crowd control.
In a previous playthroughs, I used a frost Sorc (white draconic) to wonderful effect. And a 12 lore bard to decent effect while I was learning the game.
Assume BardLock Tav, Karlach monk for the soul coin bonus, shart druid? Gale is the obvious choice for the AbjWizard. It’s too bad you get Jaheira so late, because I hate the Halsin commentary (because it gets real repetitive).
In previous plays I’ve romanced Shart and Karlach. Maybe its gales turn for the easy Brain ending. So I’ll likely respec Shart.
What gear should I aim for? I was thinking acuity build for the BardLock. I know the monk gear for Karlach. Never ran a wizard for much past the goblin camp. Haven’t ran a Druid build ever.
Also assume HM. Because I still need to earn my dice.

I’m looking to help my wife with content for her beauty business. She does cosmetic tattoos, so I’d be doing some 180 degree video shots of clients faces while they are laying down, and also some before and after photos, as well as any other content like slow mo and b roll of her in her studio, setting up, etc.
I have a 6D mark II for photos. 24-105mm L & 50mm USM
Grabbed a R50 recently to try the videography. Kit 18-45mm & 50mm STM.
Looking for any recommendations on lenses that I might need for these specific styles of shooting. I know the 50 can be good for some before and after photos, but might be too zoomed in for the video content, especially with the R50 crop sensor.

Pin 3 times a week MWF IM Bit confusing results, I've recently increased my dose from 100mg a week (32nmol/l) but my levels have come down.
