Hi everyone,
I’m encountering an issue with my MacBook Pro M1 Pro (2020) and my Samsung M7 Smart monitor. Until now, the connection via USB-C worked perfectly, allowing me to use the monitor as an extended display. However, today the MacBook no longer detects the monitor properly via USB-C, although it still charges through the same connection.
To troubleshoot, I tried using an HDMI connection (via a USB-C to HDMI adapter), but instead of detecting the monitor as an external display, macOS prompts me to mirror the display, which is not what I want.
Here’s what I’ve already done to try and fix the problem:
- Reset the TV to factory settings.
- Verified that both the MacBook and the TV have the latest software updates installed.
- Tested multiple HDMI cables and adapters to rule out hardware issues.
Additionally, when connecting the monitor to my MacBook via USB-C or HDMI, I noticed a specific icon on the monitor indicating the PC connection. The monitor displays a blue checkmark next to the connection, but also a red power icon, which might indicate some kind of error or incompatibility.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with a MacBook or this specific monitor? Could it be a macOS compatibility issue or something I’m overlooking?

I’m not sure if it is my PC or my Internet but from booting the program to spawning in a server can take forever
My PC is okay-ish and I’m hardwired into my router.
But if my friends and I all boot at the same time
They have to wait for my servers to populate. Then we all join a server at the same time and they have to wait a long time for my game to catch up and be able to pick a side
We all live close to each other so server ping is not different. This may be independent of HLL but what am I missing?

2025.01.27 19:36 EliteSquidTV SSEEdit is only showing the creation club stuff and not the mods
So, as the title says my mods dont show up in SSEEdit. My educated guess is that SSEedit is looking in the wrong place, when i launch it and it prompts me to select plugins its showing the file path on the bottom. Its looking for the Plugins.txt file in the Appdata/Local folder, thats obviously not where my MO2 stuff is, however in that folder theres also no Plugins.txt file so i dont even know where the list its showing me comes from.
So if that makes any sense my question is how do i tell SSEEdit to look for that stuff in my MO2 folders?

I hope this is the proper subreddit for such a question.
We have an on-prem email server with IMAP access. We use azure for Teams.
Today I noticed that our email server was hit continuously by an IPV6 adress in ireland. MaxMind told me it is Azure IP range. I opened the gate for that IP (*), and voila, it authenticated with a valid user and password.
The user has outlook on its computer and only filed our server information, to provide his credentials.
So my question is :
Is it expected than user credential locally entered in outlook to reach a non azure mail server are cached in azure, and that connections reach our server coming from Azure cloud?

(*) no need to flame me on opening to this IP. I am currently trying to setup a connector from Exchange 365 to our server, but could not get it working yet. That's why I opened the access to this IP.
