My gynaecologist wrote a prescription for me for boric acid vaginal suppositories to help restore the pH balance in my vaginal flora. Iâm a little worried is boric acid although I know it seems to be OK. Vaginally is highly toxic orally. Has anybody taken the vaginal ones and has anybody had any side effects from them or have they worked for them?

Iâm loving the Leo vocab trainer but the problem with the flash card approach is it doesnât help with things like âremember this verb is irregularâ and it also doesnât combine subtle differences in meaning to one card. Iâm curious if anyone knows of any resources that help with learning vocab and verbs, that teaches you the things to look out for not just a 1 for 1 word translation? Thanks!

2025.01.27 19:50 Reckless_Fever IRS tax Medical deduction for long term caregivers?
From what I have read, it seems that my Dad could itemize his costs for caregivers that provided for his wife (who died from dementia on hospicce care) and now for himself.
For himself, because there are at least two tasks that he is unable to do: toileting, transferring, and bathing. He is unsteady on a walker and alwasys needs someone behind him, because he falls.
It seems that we will need a doctor state these things? in some form? what words to use? so that it is tax deductible??? My Dad gets 24 hour care so we are talking $200,000 in a year!
What suggestions, do you know about this???

2025.01.27 19:50 GrietKietelaar AiPaper owners: how is the device holding up in terms of build quality?
With the Viwoods AiPaper out for a couple of months now, I was wondering if some careful estimates could be made about the overall QC on the production release devices.
Checking this community, I was pleasantly surprised that I have yet to find a post about blatant hardware failures, particularly the screens. Either I'm missing something, or the plastic Mobius screens are doing their job really well so far.
Given the fact that this is a brand new company with a brand new product, it might be too soon to draw conclusions.
As for why I'm interested in this: Being a prospective buyer of an e-reader, I was quite certain that I wanted a Boox device. Then I found out their currently available lineup doesn't have a monochrome, 10 inch device with front-light.
And then I figured out that most of their 10 inch e-readers use(d) glass screens, with plenty of stories of 'spontaneous' screen breaking to go along with it, topped off with some really bad customer service when it comes to faulty hardware (screens in particular).
Long story short, even though I know I will miss the front-light, I'm willing to forego that feature if it means I get a durable e-reader that may outlive it's replacement date.
And yes, in I'm looking at the Viwoods AiPaper for that!
Would love to see owners (both happy and unhappy) chiming in!

2025.01.27 19:50 Nutritiouss Tempur-Pedic Supreme Hybrid- First Weekend Update
Hey folks, just posting this as a reference for people that are looking in the future, as many of you are aware looking for a mattress can be soul crushing đ
We picked up a Tempur-Pedic Supreme Hybrid Medium. We have slept on it since Friday night. It was delivered mid day Friday and sat in a truck overnight I think because it felt like it was frozen solid.
Heated the room some and did some break in steps. Very firm the first night. Significantly softer now after 3 days. I'd say it's a medium firmness at this point (some folks say this is a super firm bed). I'd agree with the assessment that it's between the Pro adapt and the adapt. You can definitely tell it doesn't have as much comfort layer compared to the pro adapt.
Things I've noticed, I can actually sleep with my arm under my pillow, and I can almost sleep with my shoulder in the mattress on my side, I'm kind of wide (5'9" 200, broad shoulders) so that's been a plus.
I am incredibly sore, as is my wife. Going to wait some more time and try to update. It FEELS comfortable to lay on but we have been on a super responsive spindle latex mattress for the last year or so the memory foam feeling is a bit of a switch. Didn't enjoy the spindle.
(We have tried a Nectar, Spindle, Novaform comfort grande, and this Tempur pedic. I would say we were only satisfied with the Nectar but it was KIA in 4 years, the Novaform is where my neck pain started and the thing gives me nightmares)
I do feel often like there's enough room for my hips to sink in, same with my shoulders, and at times I actually feel like my spine is straight. It's been a while since I've felt that way so that's a plus.
As far as purchasing goes, I was pretty annoyed with the email support because they basically wouldn't give me any idea of what foams the supreme mattresses are of versus the pro adapt or the adapt. Phone support did end up helping me with that so that's was nice.
Overall I think this will take more breaking in before we know if we can keep it. I've had shoulder pain for 2-3 years, hoping this helps with it.
Going to try to update here for anyone interested since I had a hard time finding the info I needed when I was looking.
I don't enjoy the mattress review sites anymore because they seem like they're all shilling something they're getting paid buckets for.

 | Continuing where we left off, the final five began a mad climb for the mountain. Beardo being the least athletic falls behind, telling Shawn and Jasmine to take off and heâll catch up. The gators start swarming the mountain, threatening to eat the remaining cast. Amy and Topher both end up running into the bear cave short cut to avoid getting seen by the gators. Chris wakes the bears forcing them to run for it. Beardo gets chewed up by several gators during his climb till he crosses the gap. Shawn and Jasmine run into the same situations they do in canon though Shawn is less wary sharing the money with Jasmine due to their healthier relationship in this timeline. The two climb near top first but Jasmineâs weight makes some of the rocks fall and she slips. Shawn tries to save her but he canât pull her up. Jasmine encourages him to keep going but due to them being even closer he refuses and the two tumble down the mountain and fall onto Beardo, leaving the trio injured. Near the top Amy sees the opportunity to take out the three competitors and drops the tree on them much to Topherâs horror. He chews her out but she says theyâre all competing for a million dollars. This is her chance to get out of her sisterâs shadow with a butt load of cash! Topher snaps at her and says he booted off the wrong twin all those episodes again and she tells him to cry her a river before pushing him aside and reaching the top first. Topher, now more determined than ever to write his wrong and take out Amy reaches the top shortly after securing his spot in the final three too. The tree from earlier lands on Jasmine with Beardo and Shawn barely getting out of the way. Jasmineâs leg is sprained and itâs clear she has no hope of winning. Chris reveals thereâs only one spot left. Beardo panics and apologizes to the two and takes off while Shawn breaks down and confesses to Jasmine how heâs been feeling about the money and how he thinks her idea is crazy. But then admits he doesnât want to survive an apocalypse if sheâs not there with him. He was wrong and the two hug it out before she gives him a pep talk and says that heâs a great guy, the zombie obsession is weird but she can look past that. Can he look past her âweirdâ dreams. Shawn understands where sheâs coming from and the two make up. She then slaps him and tells him to get back in the game! They share one last kiss before Shawn takes off in a mad dash. Beardo gets a big lead but Shawn quickly closes the gap before their neck and neck with the finish line in sight! Shawnâs adrenaline and desire to win for Jasmine pushes him to barely outpace Beardo, securing his spot in the final 3. Shawn apologizes but Beardo is surprisingly cool about it, saying that theyâre still cool at the end of the day. Shawn and him fist bump with Shawn saying Beardo is welcome to stay at his fallout shelter anytime. At elimination Shawn gives a heartfelt goodbye to his best friend and girlfriend before their both launched from the cannon. The next challenge is revealed to be ones the final three come up with. The order will go Amy, Shawn, and Topher. Amy chooses to do a cheer routine competition, Shawnâs is still a race where you canât touch the floor, and Topherâs⌠Topher plays dirty. His challenge to enact hosting a fake finale in which Sammy wins complete with a full script that must be followed as closely as possible. Does Topherâs plan work? Can Shawn join the finale again?
