But even though this psu also has a standart atx size the compatibility on the site suggests that i need 210mm clearance. I feel awkward expressing myself about this, I don’t want anyone to know I struggle with this but this is anonymous so yea Basically I see my face so different based on different angles or lightings I have always been in the cycle of feeling pretty and then ugly and then pretty and then ugly for as long as I can remember But lately I’ve been stuck in the ugly phase and I’ve been questioning myself was I ever pretty? I’m remembering mean things ppl said to me back in 2019,2020 before covid Also remembering my mom calling me ugly and when I confronted her later about it she apologized sincerely (that means it’s really what she thinks and she knows it affected me) I grew up very beautiful but I’m realizing that I might me the ugly sibling, friend all along. My mom wouldn’t take me to weddings with her, my sister wouldn’t take me to events with her in fact they would all go together. My sister wouldn’t let me meet her friend once bc I needed something from her. And I know for a fact that she is ashamed of me. Guys please tell me if this is ever gonna go away I litteraly don’t want to spend another second being alive to be completely honest Every day I wake up and the second i can think the first thing I think about is how ugly I am. Does this ever end ?

 | i have patches on my hands that may possibly be psoriasis. not confirmed but my mom and her dad both have it so my doctor and i are highly suspicious, but want to rule out other things. anyways, i have been doing research and just want to ask, do the patches ever go away? i know the condition is chronic but if this is psoriasis, will they leave during remission? i work in a hospital and am a CNA and putting on and taking gloves is getting extremely painful and i wanted some possible answers. Here are the results of 2 hours on the phone with CRA.
After a long conversation with Mohammed Ali Chowdhury I called CRA with many questions. I was bumped up through several reps until I ended up at the GST/HST Rulings team who are the ones that make the rulings on individual issues and have been tasked with handling all the gig economy issues pertaining to GST/HST.
At this point I want to publicly apologize to Mohammed. The Ruling team explained in a much better way, better than their website, that the $30k can be in 1 month, 2 consecutive months, 3 consecutive months, or 4 consecutive months which results in you being required to collect GST from Skip through proper invoicing. They explained how the GST you need to collect from Skip is on the amount over and above the $30k threshold. You are not required to collect GST on the first $30k but if you do collect GST you are required to remit it all. They also explained that tips are #not included. Let me repeat that. The $30k in revenue used to determine if you are required to collect GST #does #not include your tips. They explained that since Skip does not make tips mandatory therefore tips are voluntary and a consideration. Consideration amounts are not part of revenue so are not part of the $30k. An example they gave is:
Skip pays you $40k over the year. Of that $11k is tips so your revenue is $29k. Since $29k is less than $30k you are not required to collect GST.
Skip pays you $40k over the year. Of that $9k is tips so your revenue is $31k and you are required to collect GST on the $1k you were paid over the $30k. You do not collect GST on the tip amount.
They also gave me a list of forms and publications to review and I will add more information as I finish reviewing these.

2025.01.27 19:21 audio-confused Scanwatch minute hand not moving.
I bought a scanwatch on eBay on a whim, the person selling it couldn't even get it to charge apparently so was selling information parts. I bought it for cheap and figured it was a risk worth taking. I get it, put it on charge, boot it multiple times and managed to reset it and all is working absolutely flawlessly... Well other than the minute hand refusing to turn.
I have been looking to see if anyone has performed any repairs on these watches and find it odd that nobody has done. The best I found was a long comment about replacing the glass.
Any ideas how I might fix it myself? It was such a steal I really don't want to dump it because of the minute hand. I am not sure a watch specialist will touch it and a tech shop probably won't have the skills to fix it..

2025.01.27 19:21 catboy519 Is it possible that my motor receives less voltage than it should?
Update to my previous post because I'm starting to think that somewhere in my ebike there is a voltage drop that shouldn't be there and I want more focus on that topic when troubleshooting.
250w 36v brushless geared front-hub motor. Basically these 4 events in chronological order:
- Ebike worked 100% fine
- Suddenly the pedal assist didnt work at all anymore. However, the display was still showing motorpower and the motor-cable was warming up quickly and the battery was draining. That means the battery was sending full power to the motor, without the motor moving at all, 100% of the power (I estimate 400 watts) got converted into heat and ontop of that there was no wind-cooling. I suspect that this could have overheated wires and/or connections just enough to result in my bike permanently having a lower topspeed.
- Bikeshop replaced the controller, pedal assist is back but this time the topspeed is much lower. Accelerating and going uphill is 100% fine, motor runs at full power and easily gets uphill. But topspeed is much lower.
- I went back to the bikeshop because my topspeed is less than normal. They suspected the controller, because this issue only started occurring immediately after the replacement. So they got a 3rd controller and did another replacement, but the issue still occurs. So maybe its not the controller... unless both of the 2 new controllers were defect? Nah that seems unlikely.
- Because my issue still occurs, bikeshop has also replaced the motor. But the issue still occurs.
To describe the exact problem, here I compare the old vs new situation:
- Previously, with
- 50% battery at 20c temperature
- Bike speed set to 34kph on the display
- Normal circumstances (no hills, no wind)
- - The bike accelerates to 27kph at 100% power, then it loses power until at 32kph there is no power anymore.
- Currently:
- 50% battery at 20c temperature
- Bike speed set to 34kph on the display
- Normal circumstances (no hills, no wind)
- - The bike accelerates to 22 (not 27) kph at 100% power, then it loses power until at 27 (not 32) kph there is no power anymore.
But that would mean both of the 2 new controllers are faulty... right? And that seems weird to me.
So it is possible that somehow my motor receives less voltage than it should be receiving, despite a healthy and warm battery providing its voltage properly? I thought it could be increased resistance in the wires possibly from previous overheating, but.. that wouldn't explain the lower no-load topspeed because that involves very little current, right?
The motor+controller just got replaced, and my 2 batteries are still healthy and I operate them at normal temperatures only. Now what could this be... my bikeshop (who sells ebikes and does repairs on electrical parts) is clueless at this point, especially since all the simple things have been ruled out (like "are the brakes rubbing" simple kind of things)

So my child told the teacher that they get smacked at home when they’re naughty, this isn’t correct. 2 weeks ago my child said the teacher smacked her and I ignored it and obviously a three year old can sometimes tell fibs.
My question is, what do the school want to speak to me about? I hope its not a ploy to “catch me out” because as parents we shout but dont raise our hands.
