Friday afternoon my work truck got broken into and my slate lifter got stolen. Apparently you cannot get these things anymore so I’m in search of a used one. I would need all the parts that come with it.

2025.01.27 19:52 badmancatcher Specimen style build for orchids (not landscaping etc.)
 | Firstly, Im in the UK, just in case anybody links me anything. I'm building this for housing orchids such as Draculas, Masdevallias etc. The second image attached is my plan for the cover that will be on top. What material will be best to make the top out of? I was thinking acrylic or polycarbonate. Both are around the same price. I'm nervous about drilling them and shattering them, so I plan on getting 3mm thick, as I also want to do this on a slight budget. Any company that drills holes for me has a surcharge that is ridiculously expensive. Since drawing this plan, I think I'll scrap the bulb in the middle idea (64mm hole), and instead opt for a single strip light where the wire can trail out through a small indent hole on the side. I think any bulb that will actually help a plant photosynthesise will be too difficult to seal off from the humidity (in my other build I use a 6500k energiser bulb that has been working wonders). That said, what relatively cheap, not too powerful strip light will be water resistant? But also one that is genuinely effective for my plants? Also, is 3mm thick material going to be thick enough? Finally, I'll have a a false bottom, and need to figure out a way to remove water periodically manually, as this will have automatic sprayers. I'm not really wanting to install a bulkhead to drain it, and am more than happy to just empty the water every couple of days. Also for anybody who is curious, I'm using cork as it is slightly water retentive, and I can use screw on hooks to hold the plastic baskets or bark that hold the orchid. 2025.01.27 19:52 FewAct2027 Question for OpenNeptune users
Looking for some input on your speeds & fill patterns. I've been using openneptune for quite a while now, and even at 30 hour prints It's been a set and forget, I haven't had to watch my first layer in ages even. However as my designs get larger and more complicated I'm looking to cut down the print times, and preferably without wasting a ton of filament and time as speed issues don't really present too well until later in the print usually.
Any settings or experiences with avoiding any particular combinations would be greatly appreciated, the openneptune profiles run amazingly but I still feel theres quite a bit of performance left on the table.
