I'm sure we've all played the game where you pick on who's going to be on your zombie apocalypse team or who would be the first to stand up against the Big Bad Evil. And I know we are never anyone's first pick because they see us as passive and weak. I'm here to tell you that while we might not be the ones to be the dramatic showstopping revolutionary leaders they make movies about, we are going to be leaders in a way that is just as important.
For context, I'm in the US and while I'm sure we all know what's going on, I can tell you from first hand experience that last Monday when I sounded the alarm bells to friends and family, no one believed me. We were told by the people who actually had power to stand up and say something that we should bury our heads in the sand and comply. I can't tell you how alone I felt last week when I chose to be loud and angry and was told to sit down, shut up, and smile.
I know we might be conflict avoidant in our personal lives but I'll be damned if we don't stand up for our values and I can't express to you all just how unique and brave that is. And you need to do it, even though it's awkward and uncomfortable, but once people see the quiet and meek person standing up and demanding answers it encourages everyone else to do the same.
I've also been incredibly invigorated by just how important community is when the world is on fire and goddamn are we fucking amazing at making people feel safe and soothed and heard. And that's so important when everyone is angry and scared. Be the person that checks in, the one that starts the group chats, the one that finds the free resources to disseminate when people are still frozen in shock. Be the person that builds connections and community because maybe we can't defeat the big bad monster but we can create our own small corners of light and hope and kindness despite it all.
And yes, it has to be you. People will hmmm and haaaa because they're terrified and can only see the bad. We have a unique ability to always find the good and nurture it and share it with others so they can see there's still good worth fighting for.
Remind yourself of this: You can be quiet and brave. You can be kind and strong. You can be gentle and a leader. People won't believe it at first and you'll have to do it alone for a bit but the others will join because they see our actions are more powerful than empty words.

Mine is Rowena. Her voice, her manipulative nature, always the victim, everyone is expendable as long as they dont benefit her in aome way. It almost feels like a president I wouldnt want in theyears later. I'd have to say a close second was Metatron for many of the same reasons except he had a much higher level or narcissism.

Hello guys we were able to order 2nd pippete of Clerapliq from the vet , first two drops were good and easy to administer but the 3rd was hard even tho there’s medicine left on the pippete , I was able to squeeze in one tiny drop tho after trying so hard (golden got stressed by this process:( ). At first our plan was to be able to use one pippete for four doses to save money because this medicine is expensive (₱1500 each pippete plus $10 transpo and ₱600 each vet visit)but seems like it’s unlikely so we are going back to the vet on Friday to order another pippete and switch to syringe again. Because with syringe at least we can do 3 drops but with pippete only 2 drops is possible .
I’m humbly asking for your donations again either in kind or monetary to help us continue Goldens left eye treatment (2x a day chlorampenicol eye ointment (₱700) and 1 drop every other day of Clerapliq (₱1500 per pippete plus weekly vet visits-₱600 , transpo ₱500) to save his eyes and restore his vision . Slide show pics show his improvements with this medicine that’s why I don’t want to quit and give up.
First pic is his latest eye pic from yesterday . A lot of improvement but we want to continue until the dark spot and cloudiness is gone and his vision is 100% restored

Pulled the grail from an ETB today. Finally got a second ETB after searching damn near every day. My wife and I wanted to open one each and I’ve been staring at this unopened box since release day (was lucky to grab one). Today I finally found one in the wild and we got to opening.
She opened all her packs while I watched, I inevitably told her to open 6 of my packs. Last two I decided to rip for myself. And boom. I shook. Probably shed a few tears. My heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest.
But, mission accomplished.

'some vermin were born to die, like rats in a lab' from viper and ' -whistle- vamos' from tejo, these make me very uncomfortable. I wish there was a way to remove certain ones. I dont think i can play viper anymore after hearing her views on animal testing. In regards to tejo and his whistle that caps out my headphones, no me gusta.
