The only way to access imaginationland is to literally use your imagination. Like the song is so boring and so long that you eventually hit imaginationland! Like imagine one day not touching a single phone, tv, laptop or not even doing your hobbies like reading, or crochet. Then and only then once youre really bored do you enter imaginationland. That's because I think everyone has a way to be imaginative. Like try and draw an apple in your head once in awhile. Try picturing images instead of words. Idk I'm like really high. Don't forget to bring a towel.

2025.01.29 02:51 501st-Soldier A word of warning to those with spouses using Mil-Spouse Hiring Preference / I don't know what to do anymore
BLUF: Mil-spouse hiring program allowed wife to get a job. Now, because of that, she can't get a job offer or convert her position to a permanent position. Also, I am scared.
I submitted my REFRAD in Korea with the intention of staying here with my wife who currently works as a GS. She went through the hiring process and used her Mil-Spouse preference. She's been in the position this year for two years and she was told, mistakenly apparently, by CPAC and her S1 that she could convert her position from military-spouse-hired (excepted) to permanent but apparently that was an error on the HR technician's part. So now, she essentially is out of the job once I REFRAD. I had planned to attend school online while she worked, and now everything is up in the air. I'm just over 6 months out from getting out, 5 from Terminal, and I am honestly spiraling.
The intention is to stay in Korea, however I really don't know how we can make this work at this point. Contracting jobs? How far out can I even apply for those? There's almost no GS jobs that she qualifies for, maybe I do, but I don't know if I could get hired in time. Even applying stateside, with the hiring freeze, what can I even do?
I am beyond frustrated that my wife, just because she wanted to have a career too, is getting essentially shafted because we both want to move on from the Army. The Military Spouse hiring preference turns out to be akin to a temp agency, seeing as the DOD doesn't give a shit and expects them to leave after a year or two. It's punishing someone who actually WANTS to be there, and if that's not an analogy for the military, I don't know what is.
Tbh, I would love for someone just to tell me it's going to work out. Anyone who has been in a similar situation or something, because right now it feels hopeless. I am planning on filing an ICE complaint on that HR technician, but because they're completely separate from military hierearchy, Open Door might not even apply.

 | I’m looking for recommendations for taking a 11.5” BCM upper with a 10” mlok rail and either cutting the barrel ever so slightly to be able to mount a can so it sits nearly flush with the end of the hand guard. Looking for ideas, insight, parts, or builds any of you may have done to achieve a similar outcome to what I’m trying to do. I don’t have a can in mind yet but am leaning to a AEM 5. I watched this movie as a kid in the '90's and loved it but I honestly can't remember much about it. I'm not even sure if it was a movie or a dream. It was a cartoon movie, possibly set in Australia, and there was a little girl and a kangaroo. I think the kangaroo could talk and was female. I vaguely remember a scene where the kangaroo is hurt or dying so the girl digs in the ground until she finds water to give it. There may have been a forest fire involved aswell. I could be misremembering the details/characters but the digging for water thing stands out. Thanks in advance!

I launched my podcast a few years ago and have been inconsistent during the last couple of years. Since then my trusty distribution platform anchor.fm has been taken over by Spotify
What distribution platform is everyone using.... thats free. With anchor i had an RSS feed.
Good news is i did convert video podcast and used Spotify for creators to upload to Spotify. I did upload an audio podcast to Spotify for podcasts last year and the RSS distribution worked.

Hi, we are travelling to Austria in the not too distant future and I have a couple of questions regarding food options. We will be staying in Vienna, St Johann Im Pognau and Innsbruck. Out of the 3 which would be cheapest for food from the supermarket or cheap take away? Not sure where to stock up on groceries or dine out a budget restaurant.
Also, what kinds of ready meals eg. salads, traditional foods are available at most supermarkets and are they any good compared to cooked at home? Where I'm from the ready meals from supermarkets are only ok most of the time.
