I'm flying from New Zealand to the UK soon and intending to take my checked bag plus a personal item, as I hate wheeling a cabin bag around and worrying about overhead space on multiple flights. I also fly domestically in NZ a fair bit and I'd like to be able to take just a personal item for these short trips. I'm having no luck finding a bag that meets my needs. I currently use the classic Kanken and it's just not quite right:
- It's too small to take on its own and my laptop just about fits but stretches the fabric so it's awkward to get things out the bag. With a checked bag, it's too small for 30 hours of flying and everything you need to be comfortable super long haul. There doesn't seem to be a real hard and fast personal item size that I can find, more a 'it's a smallish bag. Just don't take the piss. You might be able to take something bigger if you walk onto the plane with confidence'. I'm seeing loads of bags that look far too big online. I'm thinking max 18L and a couple of centimetres taller and deeper than the Kanken, so maybe 40cm tall/15cm deep.
- I need some internal organisation rather than just a big main compartment and front pocket, but that's how most smaller bags are designed as they seem to aimed at students/commuters rather than travellers.
- Some level of structure/padding. I rarely take my laptop, but I do take my iPad so either a dedicated sleeve or just enough protection from the bag itself is needed. I don't like a sagging flimsy bag either.

Skar RP-2000.1D monoblock amp (2,000W RMS at 1 ohm)
Door Speakers & Amp:
Front: Alpine SPS-610C (6.5” components)
Rear: Alpine SPS-610 (6.5” coaxials)
Amp: Toro RX4S (120W RMS x4 at 4 ohms)
Electrical Upgrades:
XS Power D3400 AGM battery (this will be my primary battery)
320A alternator
Big 3 upgrade (0 AWG OFC wiring, fused at 300-350A)
Wiring & Power Management:
0 AWG poweground for sub amp, 4 AWG for speaker amp
14-16 AWG speaker wire
Proper fusing, considering a voltmeter for monitoring
What I’m Looking For:

My goal is to be a telehealth private practice therapist for young adults (16-30), supporting them with anxiety, PTSD, depression, or simply listening and offering guidance. I enjoy talk therapy, encouragement, and active listening.
What type of therapist should I be? And what do I do after getting my AA in Social Sciences?
