The process is made way too difficult. Even if the insurance covers it, it is incredibly difficult to find a doctor who will perform it if you do not have children already and they want the husband’s permission. People seem to think the process is easier than real life.
My wife was having severe bleeding every period for years, bad enough to require multiple blood transfusions. We did not want to have children. She had a miscarriage while having an IUD, it actually made the bleeding worse (this was before I transitioned). Ultimately she collapsed in the ER from blood loss (she was an ER nurse on duty when it happened, they refused to let her take sick leave, which is whole another issue) and the doctor had the balls to ask me if I would give my permission with her having an emergency hysterectomy since he felt that we might change our minds about not having children. She was f@&king literally dying of blood loss. I told him that she is having the surgery NOW and it was not my decision and to stop delaying it. She had asked him multiple times in the years prior for a hysterectomy. He wanted me to sign something which I refused to sign in principle because it was her decision and she did not need my permission. I would have signed it in a heartbeat if I had to. My father in law threatened to kill the doctor if he didn’t do the procedure. He reluctantly did the procedure telling us that we would change our minds about children. 11 years later we still do not regret it. She had been trying to get a hysterectomy for like 6 years. The doctor then decided to leave the parts in there, I believe the cervix (by the time that became an issue fortunately the original doctor had died), which ultimately turned into another issue that had to be removed surgically another time (with a much better doctor). This happened in the state of New York, so I can’t even imagine what it would have been in Texas…

Hi! 2 year old Dometic furnace, has been working great. Issue: Will not turn on when below +/- 15 degrees outside. No click, no motor spin-up...nada. During the day when it "warms up" it works as expected.
Hooked to shore-power. 12 volts verified
Other propane systems function well: water heater, stove. Full 100 lb propane tanks. Uninsulated. Regulator is also uninsulated from outside temps.
Sail switch clean and continuity checked.
Limiter switch, continuity checked. Has never tripped prior, to my knowledge. Air flow is good.
Will be replacing the thermostat (just cuz) and installing new propane regulator...(also just cuz)
How could the cold be affecting the function? Anything else I might look for?
We're in the Rocky Mountains this winter, so have heat traced our lines and space heaters to keep out the worst of the cold.

Hiiii. I'm new to ADFs and am trying to ensure my froggies are super happy. I've read different things here and there so before I just wanted opinions.
- How active should they be? My frogs currently don't move around a lot that I can see. I check on them every-time I walk by and one seems to always be in a new spot but the other seems to have found his favorite spot. They do move but just not when I'm around. I got them three days ago so I thought maybe they are still just getting used to a new environment and me.
- Is gravel or bare bottom better? I currently have gravel that is big enough for them to not swallow. I've seen people say their frogs seem more active in bare bottom but I just like the look of gravel and thought maybe it gives them extra stimulation. If bare bottom is better what plant are good for a bare bottom tank?
- Plants. I want to get them some live plants and was wondering what plants do well in gravel if I don't go the bare bottom route. I was gonna get a moss ball but was wondering what others would be good.
- Feeding. I'm going to get some live shrimps whenever I can make it into town for the frogs but most of the freeze dried shrimp I see are in cubes. Do I just use the tongs and feed them until I see their bellies get a little fat?
- My one ADF who seems to stay in his favorite spot didn't seem to want to eat last night. I gave them some bloodworms (this is what I have right now with pellets but already have other food on its way) but only my one frog seemed eager to eat. Could he just be shy and stressed from the new environment and just needs some time warming up?

I went to the gynecologist for the first time, she didn't do much since I'm still a virgin and it was just a control. I came back home and I don't know why, but I felt incredibly disgusted and uncomfortable. The thing is, she didn't do anything wrong: she was professional, kind and did what she had to do, not even getting in but just examining the outside. I couldn't stop feeling bad, and I ended up crying for minutes, and I still feel so stressed... I never had negative experiences or traumas, I've just been very embarrassed to show my private areas my whole life, I couldn't even to my mother. Is it normal to feel this bad?

So my BFF Mary and I have been best friends for over a decade. We’ve always had each other's backs, but I’m feeling hurt right now, and I’m wondering if I’m in the wrong.
For context, Mary comes from a wealthy family, but she's super humble about it. I’ve always dreamt of being rich, and now I’m engaged to Jake, a wonderful guy who’s also rich, but honestly, that's just a bonus. I’ve had some rough relationships in the past, but Jake is IT for me. I really feel like we’re meant to be, and everything has been going well with wedding planning.
Now, Mary and I met when we were in middle school and joined the AV club together. We both liked it, but we joined for different reasons—she was more into the movies, and I joined because Mary was shy and sensitive, and I didn’t want to leave her alone. Our AV club president, Michael, was a couple of years older than us, and I had a huge crush on him back then. I didn’t want to be associated with any drama, so I didn’t invite her to the party, but I kept her as my maid of honor.
Things took another turn when Mary went back to college. She and Michael ended up at the same school, both majoring in film, and now they’ve been hanging out all the time—fancy dinners, concerts, and events that used to be things I’d do with her. So apparently my sister received a recovery email for Rs.17k from the company where she worked for few days and then left.
It was July 2022 when she joined but left after few days, now in January 2025 she received an Email regarding the recovery which states that she is liable to pay 17k to the company and failing to do so will result in legal proceedings against her.
What shall be done in this situation?

I went to tls center for my French Schengen. I used an agency to help with application which means i use their email instead so that they can handle any updates. At the center they asked me to not use my agent and use my own instead. I have used agency emails many times for visa and it was okay. This time was a little bit weird that they actually forced me to put my own instead. Usually I don’t believe it’s like that, anyway does this decrease my chance of getting my tourist visa?

2025.01.30 17:50 Lhead2018 Purple Dragon Knight?
After watching Treantmonk’s video on the Purple Dragon Knight I got to wondering if it is possible to have a flying “dragon” mount in 2014. I know I could just go Drakewarden Ranger but they don’t get the ability to be a flying mount until level 15.
What I have come up with is going Custom Lineage and grabbing the Mounted Combatant feat then going warlock for Pact of the Chain. Specifically for Investment of the Chain Master. At level 4 you would grab Strixhaven Mascot and choose the fractal mascot.
This gives us a large flying mount at level 4.
My questions are: Should we delay everything by a level and do a different starting class?(Fighter, Sorcerer, Paladin, or Rogue might be worth it?) What should we do after the warlock dip? What is the best warlock subclass? Would Hexblade Lance be worth it since we won’t have access to pact of the blade? Is it worth delaying the mount until level 7 so that we can get extra attack at level 8 vs level 9 or do we forgo extra attack and just Eldritch Blast from the sky?
It feels like this could be taken a number of different places and I am curious what others would do.
