One of my favorite classes I took in college was a US military history class post-civil war to the present. One of my crown Jewl achievements in college, was submitting the final paper a couple weeks before the end of the semester for the professor to tell me the paper is in the "B" range with suggestions to improve it. I remember editing the paper with the help of the Academic Chair in my fraternity, submitting the paper knowing I needed a 95 to get an "A" in the class, got a 93, but the professor gave my final grade an "A" anyway.
To this day, I believe it was because it was so close to an "A" and I told him I wanted an "A", I think he just gave the "A" grade to me.
Sometimes the best classes you take in college aren't even related to your major!

2025.01.30 18:31 Fr4nk2e2006 Quad strain still creeping up 2 years after initial injury
Strained my right quad around 2 years ago mis-kicking a football. I assume it was a strain due to the pain in the quadricep along with loss of strength however no bruising. Two years later when I kick about a football for a period of time the pain will creep up again in pairing with weakness in the muscle which never regained full strength any advice short of seeing a physio ?

2025.01.30 18:31 Fit_Violinist_6101 Journey to surgery and dealing with stones
After a couple years of stomach pain that has gotten much worse and occurs weekly now, I finally went to a GI who then ordered me a HIDA scan and abdominal ultrasound along with a few blood tests and figured out I have gallstones along with biliary hyperkinesis. I was able to get a surgery date for mid Feb (thankfully).
Today I had another bad gallbladder attack with the usual stomach and back pain, nausea, vomiting, and sweats and was just wondering what the fastest way everybody has gotten over their attack is? Or if you didn’t get over it quickly, what helped you to ride out the pain?( I Mostly want to see how different everybody’s remedies are). I would also try taking NSAIDS but I have gastritis so I avoid them.
I tried taking a hot shower (temporarily soothed the pain), having a heating pad strapped to me at all times, peppermint tea, Tylenol, ACV, and random things I saw on another thread and eventually took a Percocet because it was too much. An hour and a half later I’m still in pain trying to figure out the least uncomfortable position for me to try and sleep in. Eventually the pain is so bad I begin vomiting and that seemed to do the trick mostly(unless the perc finally hit after almost two hours).
Keep in mind I can’t have NSAIDS because I have gastritis.
Also, when I get my surgery, I’ll make a post about how it’s going post-op because I know others have anxiety about the surgery like me☺️

It seems that as I get older, I become allergic to products (moisturisers, etc) that I used to use all the time.
One moment I’ll be using a certain cream or moisturiser and the next, I’ll use it and my skin will have an allergic reaction to it.
It recently happened with cocoa butter. Used the same product for years with no issues. I had a shower one random day, applied it, and my skin was immediately red and burning.
Is it just me, or does anyone else seem to go through this?
No idea what could cause it!

I recently started watching one piece and I am in alabasta arc ep. 112.... Not saying story is bad it's actually very enjoyable but only thing that i doesn't like was the plot armor and aspull that character has until now... I mean crocodile literally just stab Luffy and put him in that sand whirlpool but he is still alive but MC getting plot armor is fine by me.... But characters like vivi, that giant in little garden, and that mr8 guy they are also alive after so many attempts of killing them.... Idk if all of this have any reason at the end but this just throwing me off from the series because there is no thrill in this because it's like you know that mc and his friends are never gonna die or defeated until now.... So my question is from which episode it get changed or is it gonna be same in whole series

Quick question, building Fang after pre-release. I really liked getting a quick 1 energy from Coat of Allegiance so I could still swing a dagger and use a 0 cost attack reaction from arsenal.
I am working on a cheap build for Fang, don't have a lot of money to throw at armor.
Question is, is there any reason to run Coat of Allegiance over Blossom of Spring? Blossom of Spring seems better since I don't have to worry about the draconic requirement from Coat.
Are these armor cards only made for sealed or is there some benefit to running Coat over Blossom?

In what world do you think you deserve the delivery tipping not even $5, especially at that distance. Would anyone else take this? This isn’t even the only one I’ve seen in my time as a shopper, these are all across the US. It’s just really annoying that people think that they are being “generous” but don’t realize I’m driving for 2 hours total.
