Hola buenas tardes a todos, espero que se encuentren bien.
Soy bastante nuevo en la plataforma y en el mundo IT también, con lo cual me gustaría que me den alguna idea sobre lo siguiente.
Hace algunos meses vengo desarrollando una aplicación móvil (funcionaria siempre en Uruguay) y conforme avanzo surgen más preguntas y dudas de cómo hacer esto o lo otro y ahí quizás me puedan ayudar a por lo menos con otro punto de vista o sugerencias.
La aplicación cobraría una mensualidad al usuario que desee usarla con ciertos privilegios, con lo cual surge las siguientes dudas, como puedo implementar un sistema que cobre mensualmente esta suscripción? Hay algo opensoruce que me facilite la vida? Tendré que estar como una empresa (SAS, SA, Literal E, etc etc?
Bueno en principio eso es un poco lo que más me urge saber implementar. No busco la verdad absoluta, con que se genere una lluvia de ideas me serviría porque ya estoy en un punto que de tanto ver el puzzle todas las piezas me parecen iguales y no estaría encontrando las que me faltan 🤪

Hi.
Long story short: I'm working on an encounter table. I'm of the opinion that random encounters that serve no purpose shouldn't exist, so I am building this with the intended purpose of draining party resources between rest opportunities, and contributing to the # of fights between Long Rests that help bring class balance more in line. I also want to drive home the "dangerous monster filled wilderness" vibe of some parts of the setting.
I'm having trouble deciding whether or not difficulty should scale with the party or not, and by how much.
On the one hand, directly scaling difficulty makes the encounters more directly fit my first goal of draining combat resources and such. Every encounter would likely be fought, and each would be an appropriate challenge.
On the other hand, that feels extremely artificial, and doesn't fit the themes and vibe I am going for with my second goal. Making difficulty agnostic of player level would mean sometimes they find chumps and sometimes they have no option but to run away. This doesn't necessarily fit the first goal, though. (Also running away from fights is in a weird spot mechanically in 5e, not quite sure how to approach that in a satisfying way).
Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

I was a hardcore player through Lich King, came back briefly for Shadowlands (it was a very very brief return) and haven't been back since. Recently I have had the itch to play again but want to really know if it is worth it. Is the new expansion any good? I want honest opinions as I am usually skeptical of reviews from sources like IGN. AIO for thinking that my father might have r*ped me during my childhood? I can't remember much from before 7 years old. But here are the reasons why I think he might've done it... First, he always used to give me cough medecine to 'help me sleep'. I thought it was normal, but some people think not. When I started smoking joint with him at the age of 13, it was always before I was to sleep. I got my period really early, at around 8½ or 9. It was inconsistent. I could spend months without having it, then have it for 2 weeks or more. I had this Mickey chair, I absolutely loved it. The last moments I remember with it were that I was puking and crying everytime I saw it... I was blonde when I was younger, and mt father always makes sex jokes around me, mostly about blondes. My mother refused for me to see a pediatrist my whole childhood. The first time I saw one was at 11 when I first attempted. My father is the type of person who says stuff like 'If you weren't alive, I'd be dead or in jail.' He bursts at me, play the victim, make me feel guilty and apologize, over and over again... I'm scared and don't know what to do. It makes me sick to my stomach and with everything going on in my family, it wouldn't be surprising... Am I overracting? Or are those signs?

Hallöchen 🤗 Eine meiner Fellkartoffeln ist im Alter leider an Diabetes erkrankt. Wir sind gerade noch dabei ihn richtig einzustellen, was nicht so leicht ist, weil er so gar keinen Bock auf die Blutabnahme am Ohr hat 😑 Wie einige von euch wissen, bedeutet Diabetes, dass er unglaublich viel trinkt und dementsprechend viel weg schafft. Nun stelle ich momentan immer wieder fest, dass die Klumpstreu von manchen Herstellern nicht klumpt, sondern eher breiig wird. Mein Kater hat so seine "Lieblingsecke" im Klo, darum verteilt es sich über den Tag leider nicht so gleichmäßig.
Darum meine Frage: Was sind so eure Erfahrungen? Habt ihr evtl eine Streu gefunden die besonders saugfähig ist?

I know she’s starting to lean towards old Hollywood/ Audrey Hepburn, but when her personality was 1000% pink/Galinda/fragile/toddleidk what else, how far do you think she went with it? Do you think she redecorated her house to go with her personality/aesthetic changes? I was wondering if it was just her looks or if she did something wild and redecorated her home to reflect all of this lol. It’s honestly so wild and kind of sad when you think about it from a psychological standpoint
