I’ve had this lovely plant for a few months now, it sits on my bathroom counter a few feet away from a well lit window. I make sure to water weekly so I was a bit confused to see these yellow spots form on the leaves. My only thoughts would be perhaps I over water or perhaps it was the instance a few weeks ago I left my window open for a few hours on accident and the cold air damaged her. Is there anything I could do to help her recover? Any general tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Hey there, I want to prepare for a 25km swim in August. I usually swim once a week (power or endurance sets, 3-4k) and play underwater rugby training.
For a 13k swim it was sufficient to swim 1-2 times a week, roughly up to 5 5 k per swim with an occasional extra swim in the lake.
I got in contact with two coaches who recommended the following quota of training:
Februar - April: ca. 6-8 hours Training per week • 3-4 x 1,5 hours Pool (ca. 3-4 km) . + 1-2 x 1 hours of strength training
May - August: ca. 10-14 hours Training per Week (Peak Wochen) • 3-4 x 2 hours Pool-/Lake (4-6 km) 1 x 3-4 Stunden Lake swimming (10-15 km) 1 x 1 hours strength training
Can anyone tell me if that is realistic? My aim is to just finish the 25k. Any feedback is appreciated 👍

2025.01.30 19:11 Double-Afternoon1949 Price for control arm replacement?
Slid on ice and hit a curb straight on with the passenger front wheel going about 20km/h.
Steering wheel is offset by about couple degrees, wheel itself is pushed back.
Took it to a shop and they said the control arm is bent and the rim as well, that and an alignment will run me 887 CAD total (615 USD)
They also said it may need a front strut, unclear if just fixing the control arm will make that right or not. If it does end up needing a strut it’ll be $1400 total (970 USD)
Is this a fair price? Do I have any options? I’m a college student with 300 CAD to my name at this point, this really sucks lmao. I get owning a car is expensive, just wondering if there’s anything I could do. They quoted me 129 for the control arm and 109 for the single 16” steel rim. also a tyre replacement in there to get it on the new rim.

Question about how to refinance a house in the most advantageous way, after buying a primary residence in all cash. I worked at a company and recently cashed out enough money to buy a home.
We planned to purchase with all cash, but the property ended up being more expensive than originally budgeted. The property is in a VHCOL area and is a SFH for 2.5m.
To offset the total amount, I want to understand options to finance part of the transaction, but will still close in all cash. I have seen a few options but would love guidance here.
After the all cash purchase (2.5), I’m planning to finance 500k that I will pay on a term based financing vehicle, like a loan or line of credit. From what I understand my options are either to do a refinance cash out, home equity line of credit (HELOC), home equity loan, or a delayed financing.
As it is January 2025 now, I dont need the equity until April 2026 during which I will be using the equity to pay down a tax burden. Since I dont need to take out the equity now, I’m also wondering if I should just wait.
My ideal circumstance is to minimize my monthly payment and maximize the term of the loan/credit. At 500k, I’m hoping to do either a 10 to 30 year term based product.
Some unique components are that we are entirely debt free (paid off), but have a tanked credit score at the moment (below FICO 600 due to layoff last year and baby being born). I’m expecting as my credit improves over the next 6-12 months, I will be eligible for better rates.
Any guidance and frameworks for thinking about this would be appreciated!
