A lot of crime films seem to encourage this hatred of defence attorneys and the alleged cheap tricks they use to get people off. The thing is that those “cheap tricks” are the law.
It is the prosecutions job to keep their case of prosecution as watertight as possible and the task of the defence to pick holes in it and show how process hasn’t been followed.

received the call this afternoon for UFlorida. applied late... jan 24th, application complete 28th (had to wait for grade change on grad transcript)... crazy turnaround time. 170, 3.91, pretty good softs (DI athlete and team captain, president of club, 2 law firm internships, ran my own business last summer, TA for 2 years, LOR from dean who used to be my econ professor and who I TAd for), Canadian. This sub made me super anxious reading about how some people have been waiting many many months and still haven't heard back (though I do recognize and understand a lot of those posts come from people waiting on super selective schools). manifesting speedy As for y'all!!
