2025.01.30 19:01 PensionNew1814 Please Help me Understand sunshine/moonlight better, performance settings and virtual display drivers
Ive been poking around and can't seem to get a straight answer and some of this stuff is above my head. I have a pc with a 7700k 32 gigs of ram and a 3070ti hooked to an older 4k hisense tv thats running sunshine. Then i have a tablet and a laptop with moonlight. Im hardwired from my pc to my laptop. For some reason i don't have virtual display adapter or dongle,, but im still able to turn off my display with no real issues per se. What is happening is everything will run fine smooth locked at 60 fps, then at random times , my game will start stuttering for like 10-20 seconds. If i do have my main host monitor on , the game itself is not doing it , just on the recieving end. I checked perf monitors and such and everything is reporting correctly with no packet loss or anything and non of my hardware is even getting maxed out. This behavior happens regardless if my primary monitor is off or on , or whatever I set moonlight to 1080 @ 60 at 20mb/s or 1440 at 100mb/s. Even turning all my setting down in game so my my pc is basically idling. Everything runs 100% smooth then the framerate goes to poop for 10-20 seconds. It might do it after a few mins or a half hour , its random. I experince this same behavior on my tablet on a different network with the same host pc. Since i can already stream with my monitor off withought dongles or a virtual driver. If i installed VDD , could that fix my jank? Also is disabling geforce experience a good idea, that is enabled on my host pc. Thanks in advance.

2025.01.30 19:01 Direct-Assumption924 Water kefir second ferment
Hi y’all! I’ve been making water kefir for a bit of time successfully. It’s been lovely and recently also started making milk kefir. My question is.. suddenly, my water kefir isn’t becoming fizzy on the second ferment. During the first ferment, it’s very active: grains going up and down, rapidly growing, becomes tart, etc.
On the second ferment I’ve been adding additional sugar (about 1.5 tsp) and fresh fruit (cherries, strawberries, or mixed berry). But, for some reason on my last 3 ferments, the kefir going into the second ferment seems incredibly active - very very bubbly and if I open the top immediately after closing it (to even out the amount in the bottles) it goes pop! However, after leaving it for 48 hours, there has been no further carbonation. Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Client wants to mount condensor above flight of stairs going to basement outside. Its midway on the flight of stairs. A disconnect there would violate 110.26.
If I mount the D/C switch nearby and it meets 110.26 does the condensor need to meet it also?

Can you lose that tether to your higher self/ God? I think you can. I think I did. My mind is empty. Its not a good feeling. I lied, I cheated, I stole and I continued to do it when I knew better. I don't feel emotions anymore. I don't feel love guilt joy remorse shame or empathy. I don't feel the things that connect us. I deserve to rot, truly. I lost that tether, I lost that connection to my true self. I lost my opportunity for true genuine connection. I had so much love that surrounded me too. But I'm truly not a good person. I destroyed my conscience. And I have no one to blame but me, I kept sinning and going against my convictions, to the point where I don't even feel it anymore. I don't feel anything.

2025.01.30 19:01 RhysIsOnRedditNow I don't know if I'm actually getting better
I've been playing ones to improve a bit recently. Back in 2020-2021, i was in highschool and it was covid, i played a lot, i was like c2 in 2s and d3 in ones. I would say i was a decent player back then. Now i just play occasionally for fun but i hit some cool shots and ive started to miss being as good as i was lol.
Anyway i started playing more ones when my friends aren't on because i know that'll get you better quickly. I got placed at p2 which honestly really discouraged me but i kept playing, and honestly in my opinion, loads of these players are better than me. I keep beating them though and im high d1 at the moment. The problem is that I feel like im just sort of a tricky player for these guys, who are otherwise better than me. For example, loads of guys at this rank can get great flicks, im very average. But if i see someone with the ball on their cars, I'll fake challenge, turn back and usually it baits them into a stressed flick which is an easy save. I wouldn't say it's me being "better" than my opponent per se. I'm also decent at getting shots off when i think opponents just don't expect it- like in my own half i might make it look like I'm taking possession, and when they get close I'll just shoot straight over.
It feels like the majority of my goals are almost freebies, very few coming from actually being the better player, yet I'm ranking up. I just came off a game with a player who was insanely quick, had great recoveries, ball control but i won just sorta capitalizing on mistakes.
Should I keep just playing until this stops working or should i try to use ones as a place to go for more stuff I'm not necessarily great at even if it doesn't come off at first?
