2025.01.31 01:12 Apprehensive-Scar188 Power capacitor issues
I've had my power capacitor for about 1 years and recently it has started to read 8.1-8.2 instead of the normal 12 on the display. I'm not sure if the capacitor has gone bad or if something else may be the issue. It works for about 10 minutes then drops to 8.1, I can turn off my radio for about 2 minutes then turn it on again and it works for another 10 minutes. Any ideas as to what can be the issue or is it time for a new capacitor. I have the capacitor powering a 1200 watt amp and the capacitor is 3.5. any help would be great thanks

I am working from home. I am a software engineer. We all received the hardware to work on this week. And we had to set it up. Apparently this particular coworker got his setup up and running. I was told by the bosses to ask him for any help with this hardware. When I did ask him questions, I got very vague and unhelpful responses. I asked him for a time slot when he will be available for a call to which he never replied.
A week before this, others, him and I were on a call, he cornered me for a software change that he said was the reason for the problem we were debugging. It wasn't. But he tried to show to everyone on the call that I was inexperienced. It was infuriating. Basically he got me to behave angrily in front of everyone. I felt very embarrassed of my outburst later.
When I was new to team he would school me on basic things anytime he got the opportunity. It was irritating because I have about 6 years of experience. I know the fundamentals. I should mention that a month ago, a senior colleague sent a mail to my boss praising me. My boss forwarded that mail to me keeping him in cc.
I am not sure if this guy is insecure of me or my dislike for him is apparent in my behavior which is causing him to shun me.
I need advice as to how do I deal with this kind of a coworker.

2025.01.31 01:12 No-Storage1721 Autistic and lost, looking for advice on my writing.
Hey all. I'm posting this to, honestly, figure out what to do next. I'm in my mid-thirties, work in retail, and care for my father. I'm autistic with ADHD, among other things. Above all else, a core part about myself for the last few years is that I write fiction. After a few set backs, I finished the first book in what will, hopefully, be a ten book, twenty short stories, with some other off-shoot stories. It's mid to high fantasy, if that makes a difference. I thought that what I wrote was great. Others that read what I wrote said it's great. Even those who don't like me all that much said it was great. But all I got from literary agents were rejections, and that, on top of some medical stuff these last couple years, put me into a slump. I know I could improve my first book. I have a few words written for book two, with an idea of where I'm going with it. But without outside forces pushing me forward, like people actually caring to read what I write, it's hard to know what to do. I can write and edit a book in half a year. I wrote and edited 80% of my book in less time then that when a coworker helped me, before family stuff made her stop. It's not time or effort, but others not caring that's in my way.
So, why I'm posting this. Let's say I expand book one. Add some mythical beasts doing things to liven up the scenes, add the proper emotions and feelings, and do a complete overall of book one. What should I o next? I can't draw, or code, or animate. My voice is, honestly, too monotonous for a podcast thanks to my autism. My best talent is the written word. I'm going to keep getting rejected by literary agents. I don't have a built in audiance to self-publish. Sites like Wattpad are a scam in many ways. I want to write, to create, to have the group of characters that I care so much about matter to people around the world. I don't want to get rich. I, personally, don't want to be famous. I simply want to plonk words on a screen or on paper, to have people care about it, and make a small chunk of change to make it all worth it. I am completely lost, and it feels so hopeless. I know my writing is good enough. I know I have great stories worth sharing. I know that it's only the beginning of a massive universe. I have all these thoughts and stories and lives worth exploring, but to do so on my own is pointless. So, what should I do? Any words in response is appreciated. Don't answer with kid gloves on. Tell me what you want to say. Please. Guide me.

2025.01.31 01:12 Anth0nySucks Can anybody help me with my two HS5
I bought 2 Yamaha HS5's to add to my personal setup last December. I pulled them out of the box a while ago but never got around to using them due to space restraints. I just plugged them in today, I'm using a Dual XLR Male and a Komplete Audio 1 interface. Immediately I have an issue with one being much louder than the other. When I do the windows audio device test, in order to match their volumes one has to be maxed out and the other has to sit around the 4th tick.
I have swapped the xlr cables around both speakers and no dice. Pretty sure its not an issue with the cord or interface because my massdrop headphones have no issue.
(It wouldn't be an issue if the hiss wasn't so bad.) Is this something to be worried about or can I fix this?

 | So finally I got decent at faces, from imagination. (Sometimes I use refs for hairstyles.) So the next step is to do character turn arounds or draw the same character from multiple angles, with multiple expressions. Sometimes i get it, sometimes not. I saw a tip which says you have to go with the feeling, and not 100% accurate measurements. I try but there must be a face or two that fall put of the line, which is fine considering I just starting a couple of weeks ago. Now if there are any tips or tutorials I'd appreciate it alot. So I had a dream a few nights ago, I only remember this part specifically, I died, but I felt maybe some pain, but then I felt myself physically and visually ascend into the stars, (that’s all I could see in this dream) and then I felt a pair of wings grow on my back and spread out. The dream felt comforting, i’ve never had a dream this visual and where I could feel my body in it to with this much velocity.
It’s strange i’ve been having more dreams like this where I feel like I am coming to terms with things I want to confront in real life, and they have this same kind of vibe almost.
I’m wondering if any of you here have experienced a similar dream?
