Problem/Goal: Seeking weight loss advice
Context:
Hellooo, I just need advice from fellow girlies who've been in a similar situation. I (F22) have been overweight/obese since I was a kid. Now, I'm just so done being fat. I'm tired of looking for my size at the very back of the rack. I'm so done with hearing "mas lalo kang tumaba ngayon" or "magpapayat ka na" everytime umuuwi ako ng pinas. We're set to go on a holiday sa pinas in october, and I can already imagine yung sasabihin ng mga titas and neighbors seeing me. For sure puro "magpapayat ka na" plus the backhanded compliment na "mas gaganda ka lalo pag pumayat ka". I was okay with my body before. I'm not disgustingly fat. Fortunately, even though I only stand 5'2" and weigh 90kg, my body fat is distributed (distributed? lol) evenly, hahaha if that makes sense? A lot of people say madaya daw katawan ko. But anyway, regardless, I am still overweight. Over the years, my confidence started declining and it's almost at zero now. I realized that I was the DUFF in my circle of friends, even though I'm mestiza, have good skin, and kahit pa anong damit soutin ko, ang pangit pala tignan because of my body.
Never ako naka experience maligawan nung highschool, and all the guys I liked ended up liking my friends. (not their fault) I always get stared at when I ride the bus or jeep in the Philippines, and I can't wear swimsuits because one time I wore one, one time nung nag swimsuit ako pinagtawanan ako ng pamilya ko and eventually got scolded pagkauwi sa bahay kasi ang pangit daw and nakakahiya. I wanted to pursue tourism before because it was my childhood dream to become a flight attendant, pero hindi ako pinayagan kasi hindi naman daw bagay sakin dahil sa katawan ko.
I was bullied by my own family growing up.
So now, l'm just so done. I want to lose weight. I just don't know how or where to start. I can't go on walks because it's winter here. Wala din akong confidence to go the gym. I'm looking into home workouts if possible and then I'll hit the gym once I see some improvement in my body. Can you guys recommend home workouts and types of diets? Which ones worked best, plus how to control food cravings kasi isa din talaga to sa problema ko.
Ayukong mag bakasyon sa pinas na still overweight, just for them to make fun of me.
Previous attempts: Nag intermittent fasting na ko before, pero hindi sya sustainable for me. Nahimatay ako and until now tinutukso pa din ako ng pamilya ko dahil dun.

Rewatching Fargo and it’s impressive that this movie has not one but two of the most pathetic men I’ve ever seen in a movie. Jerry Lundegaard has his own wife kidnapped and killed by strangers for money so don’t think it’s get anymore pathetic than that. But Mike Yanagita is a closeeee second for being absolutely pathetic. I don’t think I’ve cringed in a scene more than when he meets Marge at the hotel. But then when you find out he was lying about allll for what? To sleep with Marge? Pretty hard to stoop any lower.
Also side note; does all the fast food you see them eating in this movie make anyone else feel nauseous? Lol
Just a brilliant movie.

THE FIRST WORLD. < The city of kogs > was the time before the void century, when the world wasn't flooded [described as in flames meaning dry and without water] and the land was ruled by the God of the earth. During the peak of their might the people of < the city of kogs > had called upon the sun god and he came down from the sky. My guess is that this city while advanced wasn't a very fair society so some rebellion occured where a group sought help from outside forces.
I believe the "God" of the earth was a title given to whomever ruled the world back then, not an actual god (in this case I believe the god of earth to have been a dragon). So when the Sun "God" came down to the earth a threat to the 'earth gods' rule appears and as such a war between heaven and hell started. Hell represent the earth because it was describing the state of the earth back then, on fire. As to this serpant of hell flames, I believe it is describing a chain of volcanos that erupted and covered the sky with smoke and ash causing the deaths of innumerable people. On earth we have something similar called the 'Ring of fire', which is a chain of volcanos that pretty much surrounds the land near the pacific ocean.
The god of the earth dies during this war but he left the world in ruin, the sun god won the first war.
THE SECOND WORLD.
Then the sun god dies. How did he die? Betrayed? He died at the hands of humans. But who killed him?
What we do know is that the 'sea god' which I believe to be IMU < based on the old theory that IMU (void) = UMI (sea)> became enraged and seemingly blamed the users of dream fruits because after this they were likely called devil fruits instead.
But the war didn't end there, how did IMU get the throne without the aid of others? It was likely that till that point IMU wasn't some big bad, but instead had the trust of many others. But trust can be broken, what happened after the 20 kings became gods? The genocide of the ancient giants, oni, and lunarians along with a whole plethora of other races that basically became hunted to near extinction.
This is likely when the alliance of the moon, half moon, albasta and other kingdoms ended. Otherwise known as the fragmented moon. Different ideologies that couldn't coexist split apart, differing opinions as to who was right and who was wrong led to a cold war, a void century.
THE THIRD WORLD.
Notice the boat under the creature holding the sun and stars, that very same boat appears next to the < city of kogs > only the very left-most tip of it but it does show remarkable similarities. I believe this boat to be of the ruling class of < the city of kogs > escaping destruction loaded full with whatever they were mining from the ground. This boat probably held the ancient humans that created new kingdomws after the cities destruction, and later aided the sun god in his bid to become king of the world.
Now they are no longer the oppressed, they are the oppressors.
The third image is the war to come that the world government fears. It is the end of their story. To them and all that they oppress its is the end of the world as they know it.
Tldr: the right side shows the ancient country where its rulers controlled all, then it was overthrown. Then some of its rulers escaped and formed new kingdoms but the old dynasty fell. A war to become the next ruler occured were one sided with the sun god and the other the forest god occured, the sun god died but won the war, IMU and the 20 kings ascended to divinity.
The left side of the image shows the future, were those very people that became divine will fall just like the rulers of past. But we aren't shown who will win, only that the war will occur.

Hi I'm trish this is a throwaway account I was just looking for a place where I could fit in.
I've been with my partner m60 for 2 years now & we still get judged everyday but I just can't express how proud I am of us because we are happy being ourselves we have our lives I stay at home & look after the household stuff & he works running his business. We have 2 kids 28f & a 30m obviously from my partners marriage & we all get along after a rough start.
Unfortunately my partners wife got mentally ill so had to be moved into care full time. So when we first got together the kids hated me & thought I was a gold digger however countless hours of me sitting in the car while their father visited their mother they realised I was here for the longhaul & decided to actually give me a chance I just wish everyday people would stop staring while we just try to live our normal lives
