I have completed two yr 12 subjects (bio and gen maths) throughout year 11, I was top ranked for those subjects and aced my sacs, however I didn’t do well on the exams and got a 39 in bio and 42 in general. People in my cohort scored much higher than me with some getting 47 in gen and 45 in bio. I‘d say we’re on a similar academic level however they managed to get more. I feel really disappointed as these were supposed to be my high study scores and seeing others perform higher than me is making me feel like I’m a lost cause especially considering my rank throughout the year and the hard work I dedicated for these subjects. Put in mind that our sacs were not easy at all.

Which one would you say, is the most visually fitting/historically accurate locomotive for the passenger cars in RRO?
In my opinion I found the Ruby Basin with its bright colors and polished look seems like it‘s meant for passenger use. Same with the Lima, being so fast and preferring non-gradient routes.

I really don’t know what to do. Exactly what the title says. My husband can put him down for bed and naps fine, no problem. Anytime I do it it’s an hour+ long ordeal and he screams for me to come back.
We do the exact same bedtime routine. We recently had our second (6mo) but he only just started doing this a few months ago with me, around 18 months.
My husband is going to be traveling soon and I’m honestly so anxious about it because it’s impossible for me to get him to bed.
Prior to this he went down to bed perfectly and slept through the night beginning around 4 months. He naps 1.5-2 hours. Bedtime is 7/730pm.
Any tips would be appreciated.

2025.01.31 01:01 IonicJamesBond27 Finished my first ever Maddening run
Just got into the series, and this was my first ever Maddening run. I decided to choose more optimal units with classes that fit well with my playstyle, and made sure my comp was versatile enough and covered all my bases since I didn’t know what to expect. I’m happy to say that everyone pulled through with the roles that I expected them to perform. Here’s my final thoughts:
DPS CARRIES + Martial Master Alear & Lucina - Support Alear just might be slightly better than frontline Alear. Access to any utility stave is really convenient, and since we’re not at the frontlines, our other support units can easily come closer to Alear without being put in danger to access the convoy themselves. Divinely Inspiring is consistently the best skill in the game, and the passive also gave me an excuse to put Canter on him (I did not want to give Canter to everyone). Arms Shield is really good on Arts users, since that’s a damage reduction to 3 weapon types. And of course, one of the most broken tools in the game — Qi Adept Bonded Shield.
- Martial Master Merrin & Eirika - I kept her as a Wolf Knight for awhile because I liked having another dagger unit and Wobble was a good skill to have. However, I felt like my Alear was doing way too much. I needed him to support the party with Bonded Shield, but also wanted to break tomes, bows, and dagger units. So I opted to reclass Merrin to be my offensive MM since she had the best stat combination of Str, Mag & Spd. Alacrity, Break Defenses w/ Eirika just deletes multiple enemy types, ironically including armor types. Engaging also allowed her to KO those big ugly dragons without a single scratch to show for. I considered Merrin my MVP because I didn’t need to invest much into her, yet she still carried hard.
- Thief Zelkov & Lyn - Gave him all my Str boosters, Momentum and Lunar Brace for maximum damage output. This also allowed me to snipe almost any enemy with Astra Storm.
- Sage Anna & Celica (or Byleth) - In terms of money making, Anna may not be worth it. I had to reclass her to Sage then High Priest, until I ultimately decided that the extra oomph from Sage was better than the extra luck from High Priest. So that’s 5k gold (if you count the first seal as free) I had to make up. However, as a Magic Carry, she carried hard. Gave her all my Mag booster, and inherited plus Build and Speed to maximize her offense. Celica was great for consistent extra damage, and Echo is always better than the standard attack. Byleth on her sometimes for the extra range.
SEMI-CARRIES + Hero Kagetsu & Marth - I love Kagetsu. More specifically, I love guaranteed hits. The luxury of having a reliable hit amongst all the high Avo enemies cannot be understated. Marth was also a really great offensive pairing, allowing me to pick up KOs by engaging. And Lodestar Rush with A Silver Blade was one my go-to ways of deleting boss health bars.
- Warrior Panette & Leif - First of all, I don’t like crit builds. I like to plan what all my units do at the start of a turn before making a move. So relying on a non-100% chance (~70-80% is still not 100%) doesn’t really fit the way I like to play. Instead, what I leaned on was Panette’s insanely high Str bases, which is why I paired her with Leif. Hear me out… Momentum + Quadraple Hit does godly numbers. This was my best way of deleting boss health bars. Adaptable also allows her to attack an enemy with a bow and still be able to counter if she gets attacked. The reason some don’t like Leif is that they don’t understand how this skill picks a weapon. The priority order is a weapon that can counter-attack (this has highest priority)-> a weapon that is not at a disadvantage -> a weapon that has the advantage. As long as you know how Adaptable works, you can anticipate what weapon you’re switching in. So basically, I’m saying Leif is underrated. Still one of the weaker emblems for sure, but not the worst. Lastly, all my Spd boosters went to Panette because her Speed was mediocre. The boosters allowed her to at least not get consistently doubled.
- Cupido Fogado & Roy - Fogado was a glue pick. His Mag allowed me a more effective use of Levin Sword and Radiant Bow, while still having respected physical damage. Unyielding + Hold Out was a great combo to have and this allowed me to 1-vs-1 literally anything without fear of dying. This complimented as well with his personal skill, wherein he gets a chance to counter-attack with more damage. Didn’t really need the second inherit so I opted for plus Dexterity for extra chance to proc his skill, and of course, extra hit. I’ve seen a lot of units that underrate Fogado because he doesn’t do one thing particularly. But honestly, the game gives you enough specialists already. Sometimes, it’s nice to have a jack-of-all-trades unit that can help you patch holes in your group.
- Wyvern Knight Saphir & Sigurd - Attcking with long-range lance/axe while debuffing the enemy with DHex and then gtfo-ing with Canter was her role and she was great at that with the plus Hit. Originally though, this was supposed to be Rosado. But once I got Saphir, I found her Str, Dex and Luck to be much higher so I ended up giving her this role. Looking back though, I should’ve considered Louis for this role, since I missed out on so many KOs because I only had access to Steel Greatlance, rather than a Silver. So while she was great with debuffing enemies, it was still incredibly infuriating how many missed KOs with override I had due to not having a stronger weapon.
- Sleipnir Rider Hortensia & Micaiah - Divine Pulse + Staff Mastery may seem like overkill, but again, I like plan to what everyone does before the start of the turn, so if I miss my Entrap/Freeze/Fracture, the plan goes awry. Maximizing my staff hits made sure I didn’t have to worry about that too much. Micaiah was still insanely good, even though I didn’t abuse any warp strategies to finish off maps quickly. She just gave me so much utility and opened up creative ways of playing the turn. Hortensia’s ability to recycle staff users was welcomed as well since the uses are limited.
- Mauvier - I honestly just wanted a Griffon Knight on my team for Clear the Way and another staff. Since he had the best bases and I decided to give this role to him so I didn’t have to worry about his individual stats.
- Wolf Knight Rosado & Byleth (Rip Veyle) - When I lost Veyle, I had to really think hard about how I was going to replace her. Pandreo, although he was the best at it, could easily be replaced as a Corrin bot with another mystical. This was not the case for a Dragon unit, so I had to essentially pick a stat that a wanted to buff with Byleth. Ultimately, I decided on Dex. I found that I didn’t need the extra damage nor speed on my dps carries, as they were more than offensively capable already. And on Cavalry, Byleth actually gives +10 Dex, which amounts to +20 Hit which is a significant improvement that any unit could make use of. I also really liked the utility of Wolf Knight from before I reclassed Merrin. Chose Rosado because late into the game, he had the best bases of anyone left. Also, cause he’s one my favorite characters.

Step 1 Germinate seed with water paper towels under bed
Step 2 Once seeds are read move to red solo cups with dirt and holes in the bottom so it doesn’t flood (Pringle’s cans once they put grow the solo cups) (use pencil to make hole and drop seed in it)
Step 3 Finish the set up (Pots, fan, maybe led lights if I can get some) in one of the west facing windows in the trap house
Step 4 Water and other shit I have to do
Step 5 Harvest the weed then dry it out

2025.01.31 01:01 throwwayayyy Two new employees making $2-3 more than me as Universal Bankers. How do I go about raising my pay. Manager already denied my raise request
Basically what the title says. I asked for a raise back in September and was told to wait till November when “budget rolls out” I still haven’t heard a word on that. I already knew the new employees are making more than me. Just based off conversations like “oh they were trying to start me at $25” meanwhile I don’t even make $25. But to top it all off I have concrete proof because I saw the new guys pay when he had his compensation all in the open in his computer clearly making $2 more than me.
Going to my manager is already a lost cause. Is there a way I can express my concerns though HR? I have been here over 2 years and don’t even have a .75c raise throughout these years. But you have people coming in with no banking experience making more than me is very frustrating.
One of the employees has no banking experience, only retail. And the other has 1 year banking. The point is I’ve been here two years and I’m training them. No matter what, I should either be making the same as them or higher. Can someone please help on who else I can go to about this. My other colleague is on the same boat, she’s been here 5 years and the new woman with no banking experience is making more than us both. It’s very aggravating.
