Hello!
My Indian passport was damaged slightly (tape on a blank page :/) and I was instructed by Immigration in India to get it reissued as the passport is now ‘damaged’. Embassy confirmed this.
No one currently lives on the Indian address printed on my passport and I’m worried about hassles with police verification.
The embassy has been of no help to clarify what to do.
Can someone help me understand what’s the best way to deal with this? Thank you!

2025.01.31 01:53 Poison_Draws Is there a point to keep going in sharing ideas?
I recently gotten into politics not long ago as a teen and have seen myself in a farther left ideology, and it’s been taking a toll on me seeing what the world has come to. No one that I debate is willing to listen to my ideas considering their background- (My parents and all my family have lived in the Soviet Union and most grown people that I have looked up or am able to speak to anything about seem to have a central right ideology.)
It seems the world is trying to distance themselves from the era my parents lived in to a way worse stage of capitalism and it feels like no one but me sees that. (I exclude of my left leaning friends who yell out things they see on the news because I don’t know if they’re aware as much as I am.)
So my question is, Is it still possible I or even us as a grouped ideology can motivate and tell our ideas and get them to work?
It seems The right wing have been winning with extreme ideas I don’t agree with and I’m losing hope,practically having a crisis. (Also if anyone has some moral support on how to feel better about the world, that’ll be great!)

2025.01.31 01:53 _creativitea_ Mixing cultures (taking inspiration from cultural fashion for character design)
So I’m writing a story about the Greek gods, but modern. While it will be a visual story (comic, probably) this subreddit seemed to be the most helpful when it comes to responding to posts. I’m sorry mods if it’s off topic.
So anyway, my characters are going to be Greek (obviously) but I am feeling inspired by different cultures’ fashions. For example, Poseidon‘s design is a cross between traditional and modern Japanese wear. But, Poseidon is not Japanese, and neither am I (I’m white, and from Australia). My issue is whether this is cultural appropriation, or??? Like, I could portray the gods as though they are from the cultures that’s fashion I’m dressing them in, but I feel like that would be disingenuous to the fact that they’re Greek gods, and they’re... Well, they’re gods. They’re not human, so does all this even apply to them??
Has anyone else run into similar issues, and if so, how did you go about dealing with them?

Hi everyone. Title as above.
I am on Mounjaro and have been losing weight, but I don’t necessarily have the appetite suppressant effects as when I was on Ozempic. I simply have to distract myself not to eat and I won’t.
Was thinking about going onto Wegovy since Ozempic is not available for me anymore.
Anyone else have successful experience moving to Wegovy from Mounjaro? Also which Wegovy dose would I potentially start on if I’m going from 15mg on Mj?

So I loss my baby when I was 16 weeks pregnant and ever since then I have had issues. I have tested positive three times now for bv. I just got tested this third time because I been having pelvic pain on my right side it feels kinda heavy idk how to describe it. I did get a vaginal ultrasound and that was normal. Never in my life I have had these issues in still now. I finished my second round of antibiotics now I gotta get a third round soon. Idk what else this could be causing this. I’m doing everything under the sun to change. Also I’m not even sure what could be causing the pelvic discomfort.
