第一次吃omakase，有老饕能解答下疑问么？ 昨天去吃了家心水很久的日料店， 两个人加服务费1200，价格不贵，但是挺失望的。 不知道是我不懂omakase还是店家的问题，有的点我不太理解，比如他们… omakase是一种点单方式. 而怀石是一种宴席的名字。类似于我们“国宴，孔府家宴，苏杭荟萃”这样的指代性称呼。 怀石最早也是最繁复细分的种类，叫“茶怀石”。 最早的固定菜式是（饭）一汁三菜（（饭）汤，刺身，煮物，烤物） omakase是因为日本料理海鲜多，但海鲜捕捞不确定。出现的，有啥吃啥。 后来衍生来说就是给优惠的随机套餐。 到了中国之后，意思变成了： 快看，又有傻子来送钱了！ 在日本，omakase一般是新鲜食材的店。尤其是海鲜，不确定能捕捞到什么，捞到啥好东西吃啥。 Omakase和怀石料理是两种不同的日式料理风格，前者由主厨自主决定菜品，后者则注重季节和食材搭配。 我吃过的贵价料理不算少，就开个小地图炮了：所有靠把份量减少而凸显高级感的料理，都是噱头大过实际，包括但不限于日餐omakase，中餐omakase，日本怀石料理，西餐tasting menu等等。 真正好吃的东西，应该是“美味的边际递减效应”非常低的。 omakase - 知乎 日语的Omakase怎么发音？ - 知乎 omakase就是大概从日本来的一种服务方式，不只在日料有，在日本的高级料理中广泛被使用。 针对题主提的几点问题： 1. 生鲜的东西不能打包带走：这个是可能出现的情况，特别是寿司刺身这种几个小时就不新鲜的东西不给打包个人觉得可以理解。 Omakase，お任せ，“主人决定” 我们那干餐饮的一般管这东西叫“合菜”。 一般表示客人也不知道要点什么菜好，但是又想来吃，就说“你按照多少钱多少钱标准给我合一个单子”。 不是老饕。 事实上，omakase在中国是一个泛滥的，鱼目混珠的概念。本质上，这个omakase和你往家楼下常吃的店里一坐“老板娘，老三样，再有新鲜的上两个”几乎是一个意思。 只不过因为是舶来品，所以显得高大上。

2025.01.31 01:53 International-Exam84 PLEASE HELP idk what happened to my cockatiel

Hello,
I wasn’t home today as I went to college but my mom was home with my cockatiel. She told me she thinks he had a seizure or something of the sort and didn’t want to tell me because I was out and she didn’t want me to freak out because he’s okay now. Nonetheless, I don’t know what happened and I want to share what she told me here in case anyone knows.
This all happened a few hours ago. My mom was rubbing together 2 seed treat sticks (like nutriberries but in stick form?) for it to break down into little pieces for him to eat.
We’ve been trying to transition him into pellets and he’s been angry with it and has been yelling and flying about away from the food so she was sprinkling some treats on top of the pellets.
Anyway, she thinks he got triggered by the sound of the rubbing, and he started twitching his head towards one of his wings. He had one wing dropping and the other one up. He was yelling and squawking while doing this.
Then, he started flying but my mom said he flew really disoriented as if he were drunk. And again, his head was still twitching as he flew.
My mom said nothing was calming him, not her trying to talk to him calmly and nothing else was going on in the room. He kept flying hitting himself and then getting stuck in between two curtains. She took him out and he was angry still squawking when he took off again and hit himself again.
Finally, he landed on a picture frame and my mother started telling him it’s okay it’s okay to which he was calming down to. She took him down with a perch and laid him down on the bed as she sat with him. He calmed down after breathing very fast and eventually started acting normal again. Since then he’s been fine.
Does anyone know what this might’ve been? I will take him to the vet this weekend, however given how expensive it is, I’m unsure if I would proceed with additional tests as it would be an extra $200+ given I live in NYC :(.
I’m not sure if this was a weird quirk he just had, if he got scared from the noise, or what as I wasn’t there. I know birds can sometimes be dramatic and i’m hoping he just was :(. Thank you

So I am just wondering who is responsible for my char not being able to see more than say 30 square feet of space at night regardless of lunar cycle. I had a flashlight and find it ridiculous the small amount of space you are able to see at night. Totally bull. So far B42 is solid. But I literally just died just over 400 play hours because I can’t see 5 ft in front of my face at night. Is there any improvement ms in-work? Or in this horse-shit area supposed to be reasonable? NOW, experiencing and testing new content and skill trees has been delayed. I hate to be that person. But come on. Be better

  1. What would be the first step when buying a house? I am assuming talking to a mortgage broker? If so, do you guys have any recommendations?
  2. Is there anything they should keep in mind when talking to a mortgage broker?
  3. My parents are not employed as of now. Does anyone have experience of buying a home when you’re not employed? I have heard that putting a larger downpayment can increase chances.
  4. If you have suggestions in terms of cities other than Hamilton, please share. We are thinking of Hamilton because most of our relatives live in the Oakville/Sauga area and also easy commute to Toronto. My brother will also graduate high school soon, so studying at Mac wouldn’t be bad!

Hey so I'm really lost rn. My mom and I just had this big fight over paying for college. They've paid for my private education for about 12 years, roughly 13k/year. That's a lot of money and I genuinely am grateful. In that time, they managed to save ~55k for my college.
Now, I'm a senior in high school. I want to go to undergrad and grad for either polisci or econ. My mom recently brought up that if I were to get a full ride for undergrad, that money would go to mortgage and not to my grad. The mortgage will be paid off in 9 years. Based on our financials, it's def reasonable to say the mortgage could be paid off in less than 9 years if 52k was saved over four years undergrad due to the full ride + existing mortgage payment. However, my mom insists the 55k fund will be used on the mortgage.
Ik this is family drama, but the questions I have about grad are two. First, am I in the right for saying the 55k should go on grad if I get undergrad? Second, how possible is it to get a job during grad, even if it were part time, to get funds for grad?
Sorry to drama dump but my mom's saying I'm being selfish and spoiled. I've been feeling really bad about it and wanted to see what other people thought of my grad situation.

Hi all,
My girl lost her brother in December. She is grieving. I brought home a medical foster and she seemed to act more normal in his company. She did go after him twice, as she is very dog selective. He unfortunately passed away 10 days later. We expected him to make a full recovery.
So we are grieving together again. All we do is snuggle and when she’s not snuggling, she is sitting and staring at me whining. Our routine is still the same, she still goes for walks and rides with me everywhere.
Yes, I could get another, but with her being dog selective, it has the be a diligent and careful choice.
I guess I’m just scared to take the leap again. I don’t want to pick a dog that she won’t get along with. I’ve been socializing her at our local dog park and she has good days and bad days.
Any advice?
