I'd like to preface this by saying I am in no way fit; I am 5'8 and 130 lbs so perfectly average for a female if not a little tall but I am weak as a twig. I joined the weights class at my school as a last resort. Our teacher also does not focus on form as most of the class is sport centered students. I am not. We started the semester with finding our maxes for most major workouts. yesterday we did bench press and deadlift. I lifted 45's on each side and found it was my max at 3 reps however I think I injured myself doing that. I didn't notice anything immediate as I was doing the lift but for the rest of class and the afternoon I was noticing awful pain in my abdomen. I wouldn't say that it's soreness, we did sit up maxes earlier and I was definitely sore from that but it went away and I'm pretty sure that is definitely not the same feeling. I'd say four fingers down from my navel and between one and three inches to the right. It's almost a sharp butter knife like feeling whenever I use my core muscles or put slight pressure on it. I fell into the google doctor rabbit hole and got scared by hernia's however I haven't felt any nausea and there is no visible bump that I can see but my mind is telling me something is wrong. Is this just a different brand of soreness, was my form that crap during my deadlift, am I about to die from a hernia any minute?

Hi. I worked in the compliance industry for 13 years (Transaction Monitoring & KYC) in a different country. I am in the United States now & even with that experience, it’s difficult for me to land a compliance job, even entry-level ones. I’d see job posts which were exactly what I was doing back then but still no interview invite. Pondering if I should take CAMS Certification & then go back to school & pursue a major that is related to compliance (I'm thinking I already have a lot of years invested in this field anyway). Is taking the CAMS worth it? Am I missing something lol. Need advice.

2025.01.31 02:10 XNet_3085 (TLTR) Tohōku vs Kansai vs Kanto for a long-term
Hi everyone. I was wondering what region would you recommend moving to. A friend of mine stayed in Kansai for 1.5 years, he then moved to Fukuoka and he has been living there since.
Everytime I talk with him, he always tells me I should "avoid" moving to Tōkyo, as it's just too expensive and crowded (not my lifestyle at all).
I thought that moving to Ōsaka would be a better idea, as I've heard from foreigners that they are more opened and lively, but it may be crowded too as it's almost as popular as Tōkyo is.
As for my background, studies, etc, I'd say that it would be my first time going there. I'm from a latin european country, so it would a very big culture shock for me and probably hard at first, but you can always get used to it. I'm qualified and I'd probably look for a job there, if possible, on the IT sector (computer science ~ software/hardware engineering)
I wouldn't be going alone, as my gf has already been there (finishing her studies many years ago in Hokkaidō) and she was very interested in moving there too, as she also visited Sendai and Yamagata, and fell in love with with them (specially the 2nd one).
I don't struggle with japanese, I won't say I'm a master at it, but I'm taking the N2 soon and I've been studying it consistently for the last 2~2.5 years. My girl is at N1 already, and we are both very perseverant, so I don't see it as an obstacle.
I'm not that much of a major city guy, I've always lived in the outkirts (and I mean, in places with a max population of 150k people - dormitory cities), so I'd probably prefer avoiding downtown areas and stuff (I've been said that Kōbe is a good option too, as you can live in the outskirts but still be close to the city without all the traffic and other disadvantages).
I've been doing my research and, as it always happens, there are dialects in Japan, not only regional, but with changes between areas too. I don't know if I should put that into consideration, but I guess it's not that much of a deal (just a few changes here and there).
We won't move without a penny, but I'm not looking to spend all my savings either, so I guess moving away from the common places is a must.
TLTR:
Taking into account....
° Cost and quality of life ° Communication and transport with the rest of the territory ° Difficulty in requesting or expediting documentation from foreigners (bank accounts, visa renewals, etc)
° Minimal openness to foreigners, without much racism, quality of the people...
° Weather (I'm from a very sunny country with extreme temperatures, but I don't mind some cold. I saw that Niigata is quite similar to what "mild" weather is like here).
...Do you have any recommendations? And, in case you do, any good examples of citied we could move to?

2025.01.31 02:10 MrFluffyThing DLC3 Xbox Series X look sensitivity bug
I've been encountering a bug I haven't seen in other parts of this game. In DLC 3 I keep having my look sensitivity adjust higher and lower based on which weapon I'm using and if I've toggled left trigger ADS. When switching to a melee weapon (the first provided to you) or when you do an action that tries to lock the camera like psuedo-cutscenes, the sensitivity drops significantly, making you turn extremely slow. Switching to a firearm like the pistol or AK and pulling left trigger to ADS changes it back, but just switching weapons doesn't. It's extremely annoying and is making the game unplayable. I've tried reloading saves, exiting the game, and reinstalling. The actual value in the menu doesn't change and setting a higher sensitivity for when it slows down just makes you spin like an aimbotter when you ADS again.
Is anyone else having this issue or is this something only I am experiencing? Is there a way to fix this yet or do I just have to wait for a patch?
