2025.01.31 01:50 da1is TSW for over 5 years. How can I make this stop?
My fiancé has been experiencing TSW since the end of 2019. He’s tried everything we can think of: NMT, vegan, liver cleanse, carnivore, healing the gut biome, even 2 years of Dupixent.
He still struggles every day. Extreme dryness and flaking, patches of red and inflamed skin, insatiable itchiness, painfully tight and raw skin, itchy and swollen red eyes, constant discomfort and pain.
Over the past 5 years he has healed CONSIDERABLY. He can feed himself, use the bathroom on his own, walk without assistance. He can go out and meet with friends and even go to work. All things that he was not able to do when he was covered head to toe in scabs.
This is the hardest thing we have ever experienced together. We are at our wits end. Has anybody experienced TSW symptoms for this long? At this point we’re beginning to question if he’ll ever heal.
The stress and depression is overwhelming for both of us. Does anybody relate? Does anybody have any tips? We honestly don’t know where to go from here.
Figured I’d try screaming into the void instead of my pillow.

We are embarking on a small backyard flock this year. We moved to a rural area last year when I was very pregnant, had our son, who will be a year old soon! One of the major reasons we want to keep chickens is the hopeful impact it will make on our kids; doing chores, caring for and respecting animals, and a love for the outdoors.
As we continue to tally up the initial overhead (coop, chicks, feed, all the things), the vision can start to look less...necessary?
SO, I would so value some stories either from your childhood or your family on how keeping chickens has had a positive impact on your family and kids. Really looking for warm fuzzies and encouragement, I am very aware of the logistics, sacrifice, time and money, etc.

I got my citizenship certificate on Jan 26th and thought I will share my journey here.
We were in US since 2010, Indians by origin. Got tired waiting for green card and when things got worse after Nov 2016 started exploring other options.
Tried Canada first as it was easy to move but many others had the same idea and the fact that we only held Bachelor's degrees and both of us were older than 30 worked against us.
We started looking at Australia in Nov 2018 and this is the timeline:
- Gave PTE im Nov 2018
- Applied to ACS in Dec 2018 and got it in Jan 2019
- Put in application for 189 and NSW 190 in end of Jan 2019. Had 80 points
- Got invite for both 189 and 190 on Feb 10 2019
- Submitted all docs for 189 on Feb 26 2019 as we had everything ready by then
- Gave medical tests inApril 2019
- Got approval on July 3, 2019
- Moved to Australia in March 2020. Had to prepone the trip because of covid, landed in Sydney on March 25, 2020.
- Did 15 days of quarantine, then drove all day to Brisbane and did another 15 days of quarantine there.
- Applied for citizenship on March 25, 2024.
- Got notification for test in May and wrote it in June.
- Got citizenship approval in Oct
- Had the ceremony on Jan26, 2025.

I'm interested in trying this technique, but I'm not sure exactly what type of blush could give me a sunkissed vibe. Would this work? Or do I need something even more taupe-y and less rosey? Whenever my WireGuard VPN experiences heavy inbound traffic, my entire home network slows to a crawl—high latency, packet loss, and sluggish performance across all devices, even those not using the VPN. I've tested two different VPN providers and adjusted MTU settings, but nothing seems to help. The issue doesn't happen with OpenVPN, but it has slow download speeds, reaching only 20-30% of my available bandwidth.
With WireGuard, downloads start at full speed, easily saturating my 1Gbps connection, but after a while, everything drops—connections drop, websites stop loading, and my network becomes completely unresponsive. Even after disconnecting from the VPN, my router takes 3-5 minutes to restore internet access. I’m out of ideas please help.
