2025.01.31 01:50 firsttimesacharm3 Extremely entitled Uncle causing chaos
So when I boarded the train this uncle was already creating at it.
Let me explain what he did in few points.
- He asks me which berth is mine I tell him it's SL and he side eyes me.
- Wakes up the guy sleeping in middle berth and tells him to get up cause he wants to sit.
- Guy tells him that uncle can you please adjust for an hour cause he's gonna deboard.
- Tells him no in a harsh tone and says he's gotten his sleep and wants to sit now.
- The guy clearly not happy tells him that wait I'd get down but he won't shut up and blabbering that do it fast and I won't stand up for a minute.
- Guy clearly not happy with the tone tells him he's not getting up cause it wasn't 6 am yet, so uncle in his anger tells where do I sit till then guy says sit on floor if you want 🤣 🤣. Uncle gets angry and tells him I don't travel in trains just because guys like you don't respect elders and prefer flights ,the guy replies you should travel in bus with the entitled attitude you have 😆😆.
- Uncle says I'm gonna unbuckle the hook if you don't get up rn and goes out and calls the policemen sitting outside.
- The policemen ask both of them to adjust so the guy says when he boarded he asked this uncle to sleep on the upper berth which was his seat,he told him no and says he's comfortable there 😒.
- Now when the police asked both of them to comply, the guys says he's not had any sleep since last night and says he can sleep on upper berth to which uncle says it's my seat and I'm gonna rest soon so I won't let you sleep there too but I want to sit for an hour before I go back to my original seat. 10.TT arrives and asks the guy to move on upper berth and let this uncle sit. Uncle is still fuming how that guy can sleep in his seat 😂😂 but TT shuts him up and goes on with his business.
- This uncle from the moment he's boarded train is causing trouble and nuisance for the others. All the others have nothing good to say about him.

I bought my Corolla hybrid brand new end of September of 2019, the first year they offered this hybrid version of the model. I drive a lot and currently sitting at a little under 139k miles.
The car itself is a tank, with a lot of driving I really haven't done all that much on it. Routine basic oil changes and replacing tires, aicabin filters, spark plugs recently replaced and transmission fluid change. Some bigger ticket items though I'll list below.
- Standard car battery replaced September of 2022 when I was around 75k miles. I got this done at the dealership and it came with an 84 month warranty.
- Replaced shocks and struts, both front and rear, in October of 2023 at a little over 100k miles.
- Replaced motor mounts October 2024 at around 120k miles. These were totally gone when I had them done, as the vibration was horrendous.
I'm still on the original brakes, though I think these might need to be replaced in the somewhat near future. Aside from this though, the only other thing I'm really keeping on my radar is perhaps the hybrid battery needing to be replaced at some point, the dealership quoted me about $3500 for this, I asked out of curiosity.
How long will this car realistically last me?

How long did it take your state board to issue your license after you submitted a completed application (experience , education & passed all four tests.) My board is taking forever ! I am seriously worried about being terminated but I don’t want to look for a job without my license knowing with my license I could get a much better job & the jobs I am targeting require the license. I am so pissed at my board , I submitted in late December. For CPA how long did it take for you to receive your license from the board ?
