I’m 23 and overall idk what’s wrong with me. I never make conversation with girls until they say something to me at work and it’s horrible because it’s never a bad thing for me to say hi or try to talk to them. Then when I do talk with one or two I just awkwardly don’t know what to say and I hate it. I know they’re just like us guys but for some reason it’s just hard for my brain to click? I feel like I care too much in finding a girlfriend that my mind automatically thinks I need to impress this person or say something that’ll make them like me? It’s like I hate being like this nd wish I wouldn’t gaf wether they do or don’t like me. I feel like I’m unapproachable to women due to my low self esteem and feel like it shows alot. I know I should be thinking of girls as potential friend instead of “potential girlfriend” or trying to get in their pants. I just know I hate being lonely and do crave connection I’ve made so many poor decisions this past year that showed me I want connection more than anything. I feel like I objectify women too especially because I think I object myself as well hence probs why I never have gotten to know a women at a deep level (you can only meet someone as deep as you’ve met yourself). Also because I’ve never made an effort to get to talk to girls, I would just masturbate/ get off to them by watching porn or sexualizing girls on twitter. As of recently Ive cut back on smoking and masturbating, started watching my diet more. But overall I wish I could just stop caring about things like a relationship because even if I want it Superbad in this instance it’s not going to happen anytime soon. I wanna get into therapy again I’m just having trouble adulting and am learning to be dependent on myself.

My all-time favorite Comic Book is The Amazing Spider-Man. I have a box and half of the comics I bought for one dollar long ago. Now, twenty or so years later, I have access to a website and software to work on an Idea I had in my head and visited in my dreams for nearly 45 years.
I was cleaning up and found my old sketch pad in Peter Parker's first Apartment in Chelsea, New York. Yes, I know his first apartment was with his best friend Harry Osborn, But his apartment stood out to me more.
Anna introduces 13-year-old Mary Jane to her friend and neighbor, May Parker, whose nephew, Peter, is only a year older than Mary Jane.
Marvel has never aged Peter past 30. (Even though he should be by now.) At best Peter is 28-29. MJ was canonically a year younger than Peter so she would be 31-32 now.
It was not until The Amazing Spider-Man, issue 42, that Mary Jane Watson's face was seen on the last page. Peter meets her and is stunned by her beauty as she says the now-famous line, "Face it, Tiger... you just hit the jackpot!"
In Amazing Spider-Man #46, Peter moves into an apartment he shares with Harry Osborn. They lived in the East Village, "a few blocks from campus." In Amazing Spider-Man #136, a pumpkin bomb trashes the apartment.
In The Amazing Spider-Man #139 With help from his friend Liz Allan who found a place for Peter to rent from Barney and Mamie Muggins. Mamie rented out a top-floor apartment to a college student named Peter Parker for $150.00 a month.
His neighbors included three girls, Candi, Randi, and Bambi. They often sunbathed on the roof, making it difficult for him to sneak in and out of his apartment as Spider-Man.
This is still a work in process and subject to change and I might add the two other buildings shown in Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 1) Annual #15. The apartment was first profiled incorrectly in Amazing Spider-Man(Vol. 1) Annual #13 but fixed in Annual #15.
In The Amazing Spider-Man #139, Liz Allan finds a new apartment for Peter, on 12th Street in Chelsea. Amazing Spider-Man Annual #13 (Story 3) gives an apartment plan and pictures and gives the address as 410 Chelsea St. (right off 8th Avenue).
Peter moved out of the apartment shortly after marrying Mary Jane Watson. In The Amazing Spider-Man issue #182 Peter proposes but in issue 183 MJ turns him down. In The Amazing Spider-Man issue #290 Peter proposes but again in issue #291 she says no. However, in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #292 she reconsiders and says yes.

I am a Brazilian Catholic 🇧🇷🇻🇦, and here Catholicism was weakening rapidly, despite us being (or at least having been) the country with the largest absolute number of Catholics.
1991 (IBGE Census):
Catholics: 83.3%
Protestants: 9.0%
No religion: 4.7%
Other religions: 3.0%
2019 (Datafolha Survey):
Catholics: 50%
Protestants: 31%
No religion: 10%
Other religions: 9%
A large portion of them are considered non-practicing, and another significant part has converted to Protestant movements—mostly Pentecostal, with a strong growth of Neo-Pentecostal movements as well.
In other words, Catholicism was in decline. However, in recent years, it has started to regain strength in Brazil.
One of the things that have been happening is the conversion of Protestants to Catholicism.
That was my case. My mother came from a Catholic family but became an Evangelical, as did a large part of my family. When I was born, I was already in a Protestant household.
If I’m not mistaken, we attended a Baptist church when I was a child, and as I grew older, we moved to a Pentecostal one.
At 18 or 19 years old, I started researching Catholicism because I often heard Protestants criticizing it. That led me to a question: How could they have so many followers worldwide if they were supposedly so clearly wrong?
The main points of disagreement I saw being criticized were: the veneration of images, saints, and Mary, as well as the existence of a pope.
Trying to understand why Catholics believed in these things, I came across the topic of the papacy through apologetics websites. That’s when I started to realize the existence of a tradition passed down from the apostles, which led me to begin my conversion process.
Something similar has happened to other Protestants in recent years.
I also heard from a Catholic (who was an atheist and converted a long time ago) that, when he converted years ago, in the midst of Catholicism’s temporary decline, the Masses were empty—while today, they are full.
I also believe that more traditional movements have contributed to Catholicism’s growth because, whether people admit it or not, they are hungry for tradition.
I believe (and hope) that in a few years, Catholicism will become more influential again. I suppose we are experiencing a revival here.

Hi, I’m 14 and got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed earlier today. This might not be the right place for this post but I can now feel a flap with my tongue where the stitch is on the bottom right. Looking at it, the blood clot and stitch are still there so I don’t know if it’s anything serious. The rest of the stitches don’t feel like this. Should I go back and see my oral surgeon and ask?
