I hastily made the last post and botched any real chance for people to feel like responding to it, which I apologise for, and I should have given my post more background info regarding why it was being made, so this time here is a new version of that post with more background detail regarding why I am asking the question as presented in the title:
I am also an Eternalist, I believe that all moments in time equally exist, which leads me to wonder if Open Individualism and Eternalism imply that all lives are relived over and over, or instead, when all lives are lived it just ends (sort of like what Moksha says(?), where some interpretations state that there is an end to living all lives).
Therefore, as part of my research, I would value a lot of input regarding individual conclusions on the matter, and I especially would value any reasoning behind such conclusions for the purposes of my research.

I am a newbie and just started working out 6 months ago. I am female, in my early 40s and skinny fat. I have a little stomach pooch and if I gain weight the weight always goes on my stomach first.
My primarily goal with working out is to build muscle to get stronger for good health and have some muscle definition. I have been reading different things on how to start out. Some advice says go on a slight calorie deficit to lose the fat while working out and then workout hard and go back to your regular calories. I also read that for beginners just eat and workout and do things like bulking and cutting when you are more advanced.
I am not sure how to approach my training. So far I have been eating maintenance calories and working out but I have not seen huge gains. As much as I want to build muscle I want to lose the belly fat first and then build muscle all over. Is that realistic? Or should I eat more than maintenance to build muscle fast and accept the fact that the belly fat is here to stay?

I'm open to different opinions or further explanations on how this ranking system works. I've been playing this game for about 200 days and have typically used the rankings to gauge my position in the state and how I compare to other players. However, I can't wrap my head around the system beyond it seemingly serving as a psychological tactic to pressure players into increasing their strength in various categories to stay near the top.
Looking at the image collages, there's a clear disparity between the top-ranking player and the grade assigned based on state-wide player power. Has anyone else noticed this, or is just now realizing it after seeing the image? I'd love to discuss this with others who share the same concerns.

I just want to preface that in no means and I judging, Iâm just expressing a concern that I have. In Coptic Orthodox church, everyone who is baptized into the faith lines up, and the priest feeds everyone wine from the same spoon for Communion.
I work in healthcare and I know how easy it is to pass things around, it makes me really nervous that this is a standard practice at most Orthodox churches even for babies whose immune systems are not that strong and RSV is rampant.
The priest mentioned that nobody can get sick from Communion. During COVID the church changed the practice so that they dipped the bread in wine instead, but if they really believed that it couldnât transmit disease I wonder why they changed the practice? My bf is Coptic and rn Iâm exploring different denominations but Iâm really struggling to accept the Communion aspect of this denomination
Also want to clarify I donât think you can get sick from the wine (Christâs blood) but simply the saliva on the spoon that can get you sick. Any comments/thoughts on this?

I'm working through the Sander van Vugt RHCSA video course, and on one of the labs you're asked to "use grep to show the names of all the files in /etc that have lines that contain the text 'root' as a word."
The solution he suggest is to change your directory to /etc, and run grep 'root\b' * 2> /dev/null which returns something like this:

However, if I run grep 'root\b' *2 /etc 2> /dev/null from my home directory, I get this:

If I remove the 2> /dev/null to see my STDERR, I see these errors:

And I'm not clear on why that's the case. In the other examples he's provided, we use grep to search files in other directories. I'm sure I'm missing a flag somewhere.
I had looked into using --directories=recurse which does return results, but they different than what I see if I run grep 'root\b' * 2> /dev/null directory from /etc:

I decided to give my M(20) bf an early vday gift today, Iâm a F(19). He was having a pretty rough day so I decided it might help lift some stress off his day. I got him a pretty expensive piece of clothing from a brand he loves. I just feel like he didnât like the gift that much and itâs making me feel disappointed when I know I shouldnât be. I told him if it didnât like it no worries I could return it no problem or exchange it for another item but he just said it was fine not much more. He tried it on asked if it looked ok and took it off and a few minutes later said thank you in a very monotone voice. Idk this is such first world problems but I just feel disappointed on how he reacted and I donât know if I should keep bugging him to make sure he actually likes it (because it was vey expensive) or just give it up and not take if personally.
