2025.01.31 03:00 TheRealBlackSwan 2026 Lineup Predictions
With the addition of All-Star, MVP vote-recieving Jorge Polanco to solidify our lineup, I figured it was time to make some lineup predictions:
C: Cal Raleigh.
Prediction: .748 OPS, 100 RBI, 4.7 WAR.
This will be the year Cal cements himself as a serious frontrunner for the best catcher in baseball. He might only hit like .220, but he'll walk 70 times to make up for it.
1B: Luke Raley
Prediction: 3.2 WAR, 22 HRs
Raley will be a pleasant suprise; providing solid offensive numbers. His eye needs work, as I predict he'll draw less than 30 walks.
2B: Jorge Polanco
Prediction: >.300 OBP, sub 95 OPS+
The Big Signing this offseason, Polanco is a Proven Vet with a Track Record. However, I think he'll struggle to find his footing most of the year as he adjusts to T-Mobile. A Hot Streak in late August will keep his numbers from completely cratering.
SS: JP Crawford
Prediction: .202 AVG, sub-90 OBP+
After a Monster Year in 2023 which he seemed to cement himself as a Face of the Franchise, JP will come crashing back down to the flat Earth. I predict he'll slump, get injured, then slump some more. Shortstops entering their 30s are a hard bet.
3B: Donovan Solano
Prediction: 1.0 WAR, >10 HRs, .286 AVG
Solano will immediately become a fan favorite after a goofy postgame interview and his ability to hit for a decent average. Unfortunately he doesn't do much else and in his late 30s he misses a large portion of the season, leading to a turf battle between the Solano Stans and the Moore Truthers.
LF: Victor Robles:
Prediction: 3.1 WAR, .380+ OBP, 30+ steals
Robles will carry this offense, providing a spark at the top of the order (after 82 games of Crawford batting first). Unfortunately he hasn't played in more than 135 games since 2019, and unfortunate injuries limit him to just 91 contests opening the door for fan favorite Mitch Haniger to come in and post a stellar 84 OPS+ with several highlight-reel crushed HRs.
CF: Julio Rodriguez
Prediction: .273, 20HRs, >25 SB, 4.3 WAR
Despite looking like The Next Great Mariner for a year or two, Julio will keep playing stellar defense while enduring a horrific slump. Nevertheless, he goes on a ridiculous 8-game Hot Streak where he hits around .500 which raises his OPS+ 30 points and brings his numbers back to respectable levels. The Mariners go 3-5 during this streak.
RF: Randy Arozarena
Prediction: >2 WAR, 20HRs, 20SB, 10CS
Randy plays at a serviceable level but is streaky and endures terrible slumps, leaving the offense adrift if him and Julio slump at the same time. He's aggressive on the bases but has several rally-ending caught stealing gaffes on the year.
DH: Mitch Garver
Prediction: negative WAR, .172 AVG, 15HR
Garver will become a controversial player, with several pointing to his statcast page and his past success, while others bemoan his at-times-absolute inability to hit even a foul ball. Regardless, he shows enough and tries really hard, so the Mariners pencil him in again as a starter for 2026.

Hey all! This is for my wife, looking to get her a versatile mid layer for when it is cold, that she can wear as an outer on those spring/warmer days. It very much seems like wlw is quite sexualised (in fanfic and media) and although I am not sex repulsed, I’m quite indifferent about sex as a whole. It makes me kind of feel like I’ll never meet someone who is okay with my view on sex. I’m biromantic but prefer to date women as I feel safer with them as a whole but I struggle to find women okay with my asexuality. Again, although I’m fine with having sex, I am not bothered and would rather find someone who accepts that idk. Does anyone have any advice on meeting asexual lesbians? I would rather post here because again even on lesbian threads here I doubt people will be as supportive. The ace page is much more accepting (obviously haha).
