I had seen all sorts of comments about peoples 9 and 9 pros getting hot when I bought my phone back in November, but until this latest update, I had not experienced it myself, but ever since the January update, my phone gets extremely hot just from ordinary tasks, such as browsing Facebook or reading articles online. I don't even play games or use it for anything that would draw a lot of power.
I don't run my brightness high either. After about 5 minutes of using my phone, I have to shut the screen off and let it sit and cool down because it's too hot to handle.

An Early Neutral Evaluation session was held yesterday (Jan 28th). No settlement was reached and will now continue on the litigation track.
All parties involved, Hamby, WNBA, Aces, agree that all discovery deadlines and obligations, with the exception of initial disclosures pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(a)(1)(A), be stayed until February 11, 2025, which is fourteen (14) days following the parties participation in the Early Neutral Evaluation (the “ENE”) conference presently scheduled for January 28, 2025.
The parties further agree that if the matter does not resolve at the ENE conference, they shall revisit the issue of a stay of discovery pending resolution of Defendants’ pending Motions to Dismiss (ECF Nos. 12 and 14) and Plaintiff’s pending Countermotion for Leave to File a First Amended Complaint (ECF No. 32) following the conclusion of the ENE, but, in any event, no later than February 11, 2025.
The WNBA expressly reserves, and does not waive, all rights to file a motion to stay discovery if this matter does not resolve at the ENE and if the parties are unable to agree to a further stay of discovery pending resolution of the pending motions to dismiss. The Parties agree that good cause exists to stay discovery until after the Parties participate in the ENE to promote efficiency and to avoid unnecessary costs, both in time and monetary costs.
For these reasons, the Parties respectfully request that the Court enter an Order staying all discovery, with the exception of initial disclosures pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(a)(1)(A), until February 11, 2025. The Parties agree to exchange initial disclosures by December 16, 2025.

2025.01.31 03:10 WhoFly Sorcs to Sorc, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Debuffs
Hey Exiles!
I want to start by saying that I'm new to PoE, and relatively new to ARPGs. Diablo - yes, the first one - was the last one that hooked me. But y'all seem really smart, and I'd love your feedback and ideas! I'm sure I'm missing or overlooking things.
I'm on T15 maps, feeling pretty powerful when I'm not sleepwalking. Recently, I've been making efforts toward general survivability and bossing, but they're coming along nicely.
So let's cut to the chase!
How Many Debuffs? Yes.
Our Class: We're a Stormweaver. Why are we cursing with a Stormweaver? I don't know! Truthfully, this build started simply as an elemental spell build, but I fell in love with Raging Spirits, then with Ember Fusillade, then with them together. But since pivoting, I have looked at other classes and ascensions, and I think that Arcane Surge is hard to beat, and I love the +Resistances/ES recoup.
What we are doing:
In short, we are stacking Blasphemy with 3 curses, and using 3 instances of Cast on Minion Death, triggered by Raging Spirits, to deal chaos damage. You have probably seen the "cast a million comets" builds? I'd like to say I was inspired by them, but I think it's more of a convergent evolution, and I'm so preciously iconoclastic that I'll instead say this build exists in spite of those. They're probably better. And they did let me in on the little secret of Fireflower letting the Spirits quickly and reliably die for the cause. Whatever, I'm special, dammit.
What we need:
Fireflower Solar Amulet / Necromantic Talisman - The aforementioned Amulet, when paired with the Necromantic Talisman keystone passive allows the Raging Spirits to expire on contact with enemies. There's still some latency to our damage-dealing because of this, but I've made efforts to minimize that.
Doedre's Damning Lazuli Ring / Whispers of Doom - Not 1 curse, not 2 curses... 3 curses!
Alpha's Howl Armoured Cap - This build is ridiculously hungry for spirit. 180 for Blasphemy, before support gems. 180 for CoMD. 30 for Spirits. Alpha's Howl has the upside of increasing our Presence, which is relevant, and of giving us a highly-appropriate Yellowjackets vibe. I just wanna be Ella Purnell, ok?
Huge Spirit and Mana Regen - Try to get ~265 Spirit combined on your Sceptre and Body Armor. Try to get Mana Regen on anything that can have it. Your wand is important. +Chaos Damage, +Spell Damage, +Mana Regen are all big. However, I think our damage scales pretty well because I can compromise pretty significantly on the damage stats for higher mana, and still kill things. My budget has been pretty small, and I think yours can be too.
What we are doing, part 2:
Basically, our skills are broken into 3 parts: The Curses, via Blasphemy; The Damage, via CoMD; and the Accellerated Sacrificial Skull Supply System, or ASSSS.
Blasphemy - I have it stacked with Temporal Chains, Enfeeble, and Despair. Expanse and Heightened Curse are the support gems. Honestly, this build was working fine with only 2 curses, but then I found that ring, lost my mind, bought a perfect jeweller's orb, and added the 3rd curse. It also worked fine without Heightened Curse. Point is, you don't need a 5-slot gem for this.
Cast on Minion Death -
2 instances of Hexblast - I've been juggling support gems, but basically pumping the damage up.
1 instance of Essence Drain - This is cheaper than Hexblast, and gives us a bit more consistent single-target damage, I think lol. Most recently, I've put Chaotic Freeze in support, and I'll never go back. It's amazing, and lets us easily deal with some of the peskiest Rare monsters.
ASSSS -
Our 1-2 ASSSS punch is Fireball and Ember Fusillade.
Fusillade - The critical 2 support gems here are Scattershot and Unleash. Together, these let me tap my trigger [on PC with PS5 controller] to release a full salvo. I don't mind the damage reduction because this is just about getting skulls to enemies, quickly. For that reason, I also have Fast Forward here. Finally, Withering Touch adds to our single-target damage, and is generally just a nice addition.
Fireball - Acceleration, Arcane Tempo, and Mobility help this be the skill we spam (in between Fusillade taps). I also have Blind on here because I am addicted to debuffs. I swear it does something.
The simple ASSSS rotation is just to tap Fusillade and fire off 2-3 Fireballs in the downtime.
So that all is what I'd call my "foundation," but there are a few other notable things I'd like to mention:
Event Horizon - This passive, in the chaos swirl nearer to the Monk tree than the Sorc tree, adds a ton of Chaos Damage, with the downside of taking 3% life and energy shield on chaos skill use. But hey, we aren't 'using' any chaos skills, because that doesn't apply to triggered skills! We give that a BOOM!
Other damage - I went heavily for other chaos nodes, as well as triggered skill nodes. Energy gain and damage are both big.
General Survivability - I've taken some ES and Evasion nodes where convenient. I have taken Eternal Youth, which feels like a very nice QoL improvement, as sometimes I just wanna slam flask as soon as a chunk is out of my ES. Next to that, there is a tree that gives Evasion and ES. There are small trees (ending in Insightfulness and Inner Faith) along our path that seem prudent.
Zone of Control / Hindered Capabilities - These two Notable skills just add to the debuff party. Hooray!
On that note, let me just mention that a tremendous amount of the survivability in this build rests on your debuffs. Blasphemy assures that even after you Hexblast something, they'll debuffed again very quickly. Yes, sometimes the Hexblasts will trigger 3+ times, eliminating all the curses, but it's like... half a second before they're back. In addition, we are hindering, blinding, igniting, freezing, chilling (I have extra cold damage coming from my wand I think), we have Malice on the scepter. Am i missing something? OH we are withering, and I also have Flammability as an active skill, with Impending Doom, Burning Ground, and Spell Cascade, but the Flammability itself rarely persits, as Blasphemy overwrites it. Yeah I know some of those don't give us survivability. I just got excited.
But, you'll find that you counterintuitively want to close ground rather than keeping distance. Enfeeble makes a difference, so keeping casters in its range is a good idea.
Jewels - Mana Regen, Triggered Spell Damage, Energy Gain, Aura Potency and Curse AoE all seem good. I think they're all working as I imagine, lol. Honestly Jewels are my next frontier for really tweaking things. But, you can't have enough mana regen.
Um, I think that's about it? Ask me questions? Give me feedback? I'd love to write up a more confident primer on this build at some point, as it is so fun, especially if you're okay not turning your brain off. It's also very controller-friendly with all the auras and few active skills. Sometimes I just like running in circles around some very slow lizards for a minute. But I'd like to hear what you all think and see if there's anything my newb ASSSS is missing!

Hi, everyone!
My declaratory judgment case took an unexpected turn. The Oklahoma Vital Records Division wants to settle by issuing an official letter confirming the facts of my GGM’s birth, since they cannot issue delayed birth certificates for the deceased. This is the best they can offer.
Has anyone used something like this before? If Marco Mellone already told me he’d accept a declaratory judgment confirming my GGM’s birth and the absence of a birth certificate, would an official letter from the Vital Records Division be just as good? Or would another Italian citizenship lawyer be likely to accept it?
I’ve reached out to Mellone but want insight in case he doesn’t reply soon, as the defendant is asking us to provide suggested wording.

I'm a newcomer to Flutter and mobile app development. First app was just approved for the Google Play Store, and it happened in just a couple of hours!
For a week or so, I had been uploading my app to the Internal Testing track on the Google Play Console. The app is totally MVP and does not feel complete yet. Very little effort in the UX. Just trying to get used to Play Console and the process.
On the Internal Testing track, I'm the only test user. Playing around with promoting my bundle, I promoted it to Production and submitted it for review. I completely skipped closed testing. Was fully expecting a long review period and a cycle of feedback and fix. However, less than 2 hours after my app was submitted for review, it was published on the Google Play Store. Subsequent versions of my bundle become available in under an hour.
Needless to say, I'm shocked! This seems counter to the norm (based on experiences I've been reading from other developers).

Hello all!
My cat is about five years old (not sure of his exact age when he came to us, but he was a baby). He’s my world and as he ages, I know that i’ll have to take that into consideration. I have a few questions.
- How does pet insurance work? I had him on it for about a year and a half and I was never even able to use it. 6 month checks weren’t even covered. I then called Lemonade a few months back to inquire, and was told that they do not ever cover the cost of medical fees. Rather, they take the claim and determine how much, if anything, they can reimburse you. I don’t understand this. There are people on this sub, and others, that say it has saved their pets lives. Am I missing something? Is there an insurance plan that would cover a portion of medical bills upfront? In not, I don’t understand the point. I obviously can’t spend money that I don’t have, so a reimbursement would be useless.
- How can I switch my cat to UTI formula. My cat is so particular. For three years of his life, he lived with my roommates cat, and they became super close. They began eating each others food. My roommates cat was on Hairball Formula (a long hair), and my cat was on UTI. My roommate and I ended up having to compromise on one formula because our cats were going haywire with the food. My cat stopped eating UTI formula. He basically starved himself for two days until I got him more of the Hairball formula. He has a fountain, so he’s pretty well hydrated, but he mainly relies on his hairball formula dry food. I have wet food, but he doesn’t always prefer that, and it gives him the shits. If absolutely anything, i’d love to get him back on UTI formula. How can I do this without him starving himself for days? Is the water fountain helpful with preventing blockages?

Now I wonder, how could I do the same, asking for the Lord’s guidance on my mission in life or upon other big decisions in my life? Sometimes I tried to praying alone at the Church or during Mass. I just wasted about 10 minutes trying to do all my pc searches only to check and realise they weren’t counting. Tried doing the mobile searches and they’re not working either. Anyone else having this problem? It’s not a cool-down, absolutely nothing is registering. Even if I wait 15 seconds before clicking searches it still won’t register any points.
