a Global 7500 can travel higher and faster than an Airbus or Boeing, however it’s only really compared by airspeed which makes the difference more marginal.

2025.01.31 03:11 Itchy_Willow_1140 Roseselsa Ceramics X REVIEW | Potential Budget King? Under $40
This is going to be my full review of the Roseselsa Ceramics X (and also a comparison to the Earfree i3 and i5 models this company makes as well). Scroll down to find out more :)
DISCLAIMER: Roseselsa was nice enough to send this pair out for me for a review. They did not obligate me to say anything so this will be my own, unbias opinion on this pair.
These are priced around 37.99 on Amazon at this time with a 5% coupon. The unboxing category does not count to the final score
Every part is labeled in in bold so just scroll around if you want
(7.5/10) UNBOXING: The overall size of the box is small and light. There really isn't anything negative to say about the box other than the design of how you open them (its a peel/rip design meaning you cant close it after). All of the material is mainly made of some type of plastic/cardboard/paper material. Once you open it, the earbuds are placed in the center of the box.

(6.5/10) BUILD QUALITY/COMFORT: Comfort on this pair is not an issue. There are four different sizes of eartips included in the box. Because they are a bud style, they will fit most ears fine (the fit is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE). On the other hand, the build quality seems to be lacking (for me at least). There isn't anything wrong with the plastic on the buds or case, but the issue lies on the hinge. The hinge is flimsy and too much movement when trying to open them will result them in shutting again. The hinge might also open when it's in someones bag or pocket but that has yet to have happened for me. Another issue for me is that the case is quite light but some might find that to be a perk rather than con.

(8/10) CONTROLS: The controls are just like Roseselsa's other model the Earfree i3 and i5. These are touch controlled via single, double, triple tap, and long hold. They can also be customized through the app which I will get into deeper later in the review. Each tap has a satisfyingly sound feedback so you know when you activated tap controls such as ANC, volume, playback, etc and they are responsive. The only reasons this score isn't as good as the Earfree i5 is because the long hold isn't able to be customized in the app which is strange. I also don't expect swipe or pinch controls for this price range.

(8.5/10) APP: The app is called "Roselink" which is available on IOS and Android. Overall, this app does a great job at being a companion to the Ceramics X. They do basically everything you need like the ANC controls or custom touch control settings. However, the for the touch controls, the long hold can't be customized unlike the Earfree i3/i5. They also don't have different levels of ANC/transparency but I'm not sure its needed for this pair. There isn't any type of custom EQ but rather 3 presets POP/HIFI/ROCK which I will get into later in the sound category. The app also includes the battery status of the buds but not the case unlike the i3/i5.

Included is also a gamemode which is advertised at 54 ms which I highly doubt but does a decent job. There is a find device which beeps each bud individually which is quite helpful. If you look to the bottom of the app, there is a place called "Square" which basically is a meditation/study/concentration place where you can play loads of different noises ranging from fire place noises, rain, or white noise, etc which I find helpful while using with ANC.

(8.5/10) BATTERY LIFE: From my testing, these are a great budget pair for battery life as far as I see. I get 9:30 hours with ANC off (LDAC off). 8:30 hours with ANC off (LDAC on).
I get around 7:30 hours with ANC on with LDAC and 8 hours with ANC on without LDAC. Roseselsa also says you get an extra 40 hours with the case but I have no way of testing this unfortunately.
(7.25/10) ANC/TRANSPARENCY/WIND REDUCTION: I will be testing this with a binaural stereo test microphone and a sound bar as well for decibel cancellation.
DISCLAIMER: don’t count on these numbers because, at the end of the day, everyone will have a different fit and ear tips. Also, I don’t know how accurate these readings are but I test them using a binaural stereo test microphone and a soundbar. I also test the ANC outside in cafes, city streets, and construction sites so it’s not just decibel numbers but rather my own opinions.
(7.5/10) ANC: The active noise cancellation for this price point is actually one of the better ones Iv'e tried. I would put these on par with the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC with an A- for scale. To my ears, they block out around 80 - 90 percent of low frequencies and about 50 percent of the mid frequency noises. They do let in more high frequencies only blocking around 20 - 35 percent of them but the good fitment/seal helps. When using the binaural microphone and soundbar, it reads about 13-23 decibels of noise cancelled out. But again, I'm not sure how accurate my testing really is. Something else that I'm unsure about is that many people say these have better ANC than the more top of the line Earfree i5 but I can't tell a huge difference between them. If you want to spend more for even better noise cancelling performance than these, I would get the Earfun Air 4 Pro or the Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro+.
(7/10) TRANSPARENCY: I actually find the transparency mode in this pair to be a lot better than the competition. They let in all the frequencies very clearly, so things like voices and other noises come through without any issues (unlike the i3 and i5 although those are more expensive and premium from Roseselsa). However, I do notice slight white noise and also occlusion meaning that there is a blocked ear effect when you speak.
WIND REDUCTION: Nothing to complain about wind reduction, they reduce wind noise well enough to where even on a windy day, it works decently at blocking wind. Although probably won't be able to hear the outside world as well as if you were in transparency or just normal mode.
The only major negatives of the ANC and transparency is how they let in lots of wind through the mics.
(8.6/10) SOUND QUALITY: These Roseselsa Ceramics X are equipped with 10 mm Carbon Based Ceramic Diaphragm drivers which truly impress me for this price range. Just like the i5, these Ceramics X have a mild V shape tuning but doesn't lack in any way (at least . . . ) There will also be a brief explanation of each EQ preset.

I'm testing these with the stock EQ preset out of the box (HIFI). If your looking for one of the best sounding TWS in the under 40 dollar price range, these should be one of the top pick for sure. Roseselsa definitely tuned these carefully with expertise. Sub bass on this pair is present without being overblown. Although being a mild V shape tuning, the midrange doesn't lack any depth or detail. I find these to be a pair with excellent detail clarity in vocals, as they have depth and volume. Male vocals sound warm with great presence, but female vocals are pushed more back but still have great energy and still stand out. Instruments decent depth and perception, meaning guitars, drums, pianos all stand out despite this specific tuning. Seperation maintains just above average for all frequencies. Now, where I do find these to be not as good would be the treble. I find the treble to be harsh at times but my ears may be different from yours. I find the treble to somewhat sound artificial at times like the i3 and they get messy when instruments/vocals are thrown all over the place in audio recordings. Another lacking part is definitely soundstage, although more airy than the i5 because of the treble spike in the 15k region, the soundstage is more narrow/limited which affects the performance of imaging at times which the i5 exceed at in their price range. Of course these are priced way cheaper ($37) being a budget pair but these are my opinions. An example of a TWS that does treble better would be the KZ Carol (another excellent sounding earbud in this price range) outperform the Ceramics X.
HIFI: A more V shape option because of the brighter treble. Maybe not suitable for people who are more treble sensitive. But these have more excitement in female vocals in the upper mids with more airy soundstage.
ROCK: This is more similar to the HIFI eq but with the treble being tuned down more in the 4k-10k region.
POP: In my opinion, this EQ preset should have been named ROCK instead because sub bass is increased, upper mids are tuned down, and treble is also lowered as well.
These Ceramics X for sure sound much better than lots of other similarly priced earbuds. Of course I'm not saying they sound the best of the best, but, I genuinely think they compete with earbuds double their price point no doubt.
VERDICT:
OVERALL SCORE: (7.84/10)
For me, I think it is safe to say these win the budget king crown (from my experience after using 15 plus other earbuds in the same price range). Not only do they have excellent app support and ANC, but everything from the transparency mode as well to the sound quality almost matches earbuds double this price tag. The only major cons I find are that the hinge of the case is flimsy and how the treble can get messy/harsh compared to the KZ Carol. No wireless charging might also be an issue for some, just to point out. But, if your looking for something affortable, with excellent comfort (subjective), sound quality, and noise cancellation, these should be a no brainer or at least near the top of your buying list.

I’m a nurse so I know the ABCDEs of moles and I’m really frightened by this spot that formed literally within this past week, I noticed it only 2 days ago. It’s on my breast. I have been using the tanning bed for the past month (pleaseeee no snark on this fact. I have seasonal affective disorder and figured the UV could help. I know how bad it is). On a scale of 1-10 how quickly should I get to the dermatologist for this I’m really freaked out and I am the least hypochondriac person ever

2025.01.31 03:11 SeriousAlbatross474 Sometimes I resent the fact that I have have people in my life who love me and would be devastated if I were gone.
This is my first reddit post. Long time lurker, first time poster. I was prompted to post because of this recurring thought. It might sound contradictory, but bear with me.
I hate my life. I'm 34 female. By "normal standards" I have a good life. I am extremely grateful for what I do have and the people I have in my life.
I want to kill myself. To be clear, I'm not going to. The option isn't even on the table.
This is where the resentment comes in. Sometimes I am so resentful of my mom, who is an absolute angel on Earth, my fiancee, who couldn't be more wonderful and supportive if he tried, my best friends of 25+ years, my nieces, and my cousins who are more like sisters/best friends. I am so lucky because I know any of these people would move heaven and Earth for me. They are the reason I know I will never hurt myself. I would never do that to them.
But I am done. I do not want to be here anymore.
My main focus for the last literal 10 years has been to be able to financially support myself. I decided to go back for my masters thinking that would help...it didn't. It made things worse because now on top of my preexisting depression, I am now no longer able to afford my bills and am constantly in the negative. I've had to get rid of all non critical "extras". It's the straw that broke the camel's back.
This is where my "deep thought" comes in. I feel so resentful of the amazing people in my life because if I didn't have them, I could just quit. I sometimes feel so angry over the fact that I don't have to be here anymore, I don't have to feel this way everyday - there's an option! I just can't choose it without causing extreme grief to others.
And then I bounce off that thought into more anger like "they're so fucking greedy, it's not fair I have to continue to fail at life just so they can be happy".
I don't know what I'm looking for here posting this...i just..i don't know.
side note: I've been in therapy, i actually worked as a therapist in a residential mental health facility. Mental health has always been a passion of mine. Which is ironic, but I think I was always just trying to figure myself out.
