After a big rain I walked in the room and felt my socks wet. Walking around felt a few patches of wet against the wall that's shared with garage. Other side of the garage is this big pipe thing it says bypass I think it's for a water softener, there's a bit of it that's dripping at the end but not sure if that's the cause. I would expect the carpet closest to the wall to be most wet but it seems to have pooled about a foot away in multiple different areas.

There is a certain “news” channel that a lot of my pts watch and when I have to be in that person’s room for a longer period of time, I totally want to turn it off. The best was when I had two super hard of hearing guys in the same room, one had Fox on as loud as possible and the other one had MSNBC on as loud as possible. So much overstimulation!

Building my first computer, and have little idea what's going on. Can someone double check this build that was recommended to me? Is it a good recommendation? I'd like to start buying stuff this week.

- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) - No existing parts (Maybe a Samsung 1 TB SSD 980)
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) - Gaming, I'd like to play recent (past couple years) AAA titles on max settings and I play Grand strategy games like HOI4. I might want to dabble in microsoft flight sim? Hopefully I can get a PC that stays relevant for 5 years, like not ultra settings but maybe normal for new releases.
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) - 1 Monitor, I think I want like a wide one that's curved (very technical, lol). I don't want 4k but maybe the next best thing? Any explanation here would be appreciated!
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations) - 2,000 USD before taxes and without the monitor, but please include monitor recommendations.
