[Tl;Dr] Seeking advice relating to a promised flight voucher (that we never received) from Volaris in exchange for volunteering to de-board an overweight plane. Has anyone volunteered to deboard a Volaris plane in exchange for a voucher? If so, did you ever receive your (correct amount) voucher? Please let me know any tips and tricks since they are tough cookies when it comes to resolving an issue.
[Full post] My partner and I boarded our flight from Mexico City to Chicago on January 12th, 2025. After a few hours of sitting on the boarded plane + not taking off, the staff informed the whole plane was too heavy to take off... great. After the staff offered a few unattractive offers in exchange for volunteering, they bumped the offer to $800 USD pp + hotel/food + rebooked ticket. My partner and I + 18 other people (yes - 20 people total!) volunteered to de-board the 'overweight' plane in exchange for the offer of $800 USD pp + hotel/food + rebooked ticket.
All of us volunteers eventually received printed details of the hotel, food and rebooked flight. Knowing how Volaris can be, I asked for any written confirmation of the voucher total, a receipt, a picture, or anything else we can hold on to as proof that we will receive our promised $800 usd via email. Once the agent said we just need to wait 2-7 business days for the email voucher, I became skeptical of what we would receive in the end.
Fast forward 7 business days, we have not received anything. I along with another sweet couple we met along the way, filed claims as directed by Volaris customer service representatives since they have no 'evidence' of the promised $800 usd vouchers.

Yes - I am very familiar with Volaris's customer service, and mischievous behavior towards paying customers.
At the end of the day it's not about getting those vouchers for my partner and I, but it is fighting for the honest exchange we were promised, especially when 20 of us are getting cheated by Volaris.

I feel bad taking my cats out of the house for the vet - it stresses them out and I feel like it would be unnecessary if this is something people do. Is it insanely expensive? They just need a checkup and maybe some more vaccines I just don’t know vets that come to peoples homes is a thing.

So I don't usually have the entire nation break out in riots, but I did this time, and I'm honestly a bit baffled. I can only assume it's because I did something different.
To quickly summarize some stuff I tried for this run:
- I didn't take Koronti's deal, and then sent the ACP after the Oligarchs.
- I didn't implement a change to decree powers.
- I implemented a Value Added Tax.
- I privatized a bit more than I previously had on these runs, although it didn't seem to piss off the conservatives that much?
- Finally, while I usually do this regardless, Karl did say that people were pissed that I attended the Aschraf Anniversary, even though it went quite well.
Any advice here?

I don’t know how to put this into words, but I feel like I’m losing my mind. Every day feels like a repeat of the last. I sit alone in my room, and when I wake up, it’s like yesterday never even happened—just bits and pieces remain, like a dream that fades away too fast.
I think I’m experiencing some kind of short-term or even long-term memory loss—I don’t know. But I’m forgetting things that I shouldn’t. I struggle to remember conversations, what I did yesterday, or even what I was thinking a few moments ago. It’s like my brain refuses to register time properly.
On top of that, it’s getting harder for me to read, write, spell, and even speak. That’s why I’m using ChatGPT just to write this because I can’t seem to put my thoughts into words anymore.
I’m also struggling to find a job, which just makes things worse. I used to have dreams and ambitions, but now, I feel completely stuck. Relationships are hard too. I don’t keep in touch with people, and even when I try, I don’t know what to say. It’s like I’ve forgotten how to connect.
I don’t know what’s happening to me. I feel like I’m just existing, not really living. What’s the point of this? Has anyone else been through something like this? How do you break out of it?
Any advice would mean a lot.

Hello fellow survivors,
I am having trouble with my audio. It seems that whenever I play with buddies they seem to hear distant sounds like gunshots while I don't. It has been like this for years.
For example, I was regulating the water level in the Livonia bunker, and my buddy was down there. He heard the alarm when the bunker door closed, I didn't hear it. Whenever we are outside, no matter the map or location, I can't hear far away shots, but they can. At a certain point I do hear them, but their ability to hear them seems to be from much farther away. Hearing footsteps is no issue, I don't know if they can hear them for farther away.
I have no hearing problems. Can't find any audio settings to customise and I use the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 headset (on the crappy side but decent enough for directional audio and proper volume).
I would appreciate any experiences or advice on the matter. Thankyou in advance!

We recommend that those caregivers of students with dietary requirements provide their own lunches until this problem is sorted out. Furthermore, as it seems likely lunches will continue to be delivered at the second Break, for those that require food earlier we recommend lunch is provided to them.
We will endeavour to provide a snack during Break 1 and our canteen is also open where students are able to purchase a range of food.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting, so I hope my wording doesn’t come off as weird—I’m not really used to this kind of thing.
For context, I’m 19 (F) and was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17. I believe I got my first period around 13 or 14, but my cycle has always been all over the place. Sometimes I go months without a period, and other times it lasts for two weeks or more, usually with blood or old blood discharge.
I didn’t think much of it at first, but over time, I realized how much PCOS affects the way I feel about myself. I have strong facial hair growth, but my scalp hair is thinning. My skin is rough, my face feels droopy and more masculine, and my acne and scars only add to my insecurities. My body looks normal except for my belly, which is constantly bloated, making me look pregnant. My upper body is also wider, which makes me feel even less feminine.
I saw a gynecologist once, and she diagnosed me with PCOS and prescribed birth control pills. But my mom was against it, believing it would make me infertile. I personally don’t care about having kids—I just want to feel good in my own skin and be the best version of myself.
Now, I’m finally planning to book my second appointment with a gynecologist, but I want to go in more informed. I’d love to understand PCOS better and know what medications could help me feel more feminine and reduce these masculine traits.
I’ve heard that trans people use estrogen pills—would something like that be an option for me?
