Let's say Spurs land Fox and Fox helps the Spurs secure a playin spot (with Popovich also returning from health scare). Let's also assume the Kings are "good enough" without Fox to also secure a playin spot.
If the two teams play each other during a play-in game, which seems to be a very possible 9-10 seed scenario- the worst-case would be obviously the Spurs knocking off the Kings. Now would that possibly be the worst day in the Kings franchise history? (Would it top the 2002 Game 7 playoff loss against lakers). IMO, it would not be a worst day, as play-in game is technically not a playoff game.
Conversely the Kings can also knock off Fox and Spurs.

2025.01.31 04:19 ThreeBeanCasanova One of our cats is probably going to die because of me.
We were moving 6 of them from our lost and found to adoptions. I got 3 of the last 4 transfered. We ran out of cat carriers I grabbed one of the cardboard ones we send people home with their new cats. They were trying to get us clocked out and I didn't want to waste time washing and drying one crate when everyone was waiting on me. I let supervisors know I was grabbing one and what I was using it for, no complaints. They're talking to me like I'm a fucking idiot now, like I just threw him in a garbage bag and stumbled around with him.
The cat was a sweet one, just really shy and nervous, a bigger cat. Went into the crate without much trouble. About a 3rd of the way there, he freaks out, has a panic attack. Rips his way through the double layered cardboard. I did my best to hang on to him, but he refused to let me grab him and eventually just tore my hands up to much. He escaped into our gated parking lot, under a half dozen cars. We set traps out, but if they don't catch him and he gets out, he's probably dead. We're located right next to a busy highway and desert, with no residential areas around. If he gets out of the gate, he'll probably get hit by a car or killed by coyotes.

Hey everyone,
I need some advice on whether my current internship is fair or if I’m just being used for cheap labor. Here’s the situation:
I was hired as an intern to work on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. I have a fair amount of knowledge in this area, but I expected to be working under mentorship and guidance. Instead, I’ve been given full responsibility for developing CI/CD pipelines for the company’s three core products.
Here’s the kicker: no one in the company, including my team leads, has any knowledge of CI/CD or DevOps. The heads of the Software Development and IoT teams are "overseeing" my work, but they are completely clueless about what I’m doing. Essentially, I’m on my own, building the entire system from scratch while they just provide project requirements.
And now, the worst part: 💰 Stipend? A measly ₹5000/month (~$60). ⏳ Working hours? 9 AM – 6 PM, 5 days a week. 📚 Mentorship? Nonexistent.
At this point, I feel like I’m not even an intern—I’m doing the job of a DevOps Engineer for pocket change. If they needed this expertise, they should have hired a proper full-time engineer instead of throwing it on an underpaid intern.
So, my question is: How do I approach management about this? Should I demand a better stipend? Should I walk away? Has anyone else been in a situation like this?

Hello all! I've posted here a lot looking for players and have had successes but timing and schedules is always the greatest enemy to good D&D games so here i am yet again looking for more!
We are starting an all new campaign this upcoming week and are looking for 1 to 2 players. This game is a fantasy pirate game set in a homebrew world! It's in person at a TTRPG Store in Corona.
We play on Wednesday and Thursday every single week from 4pm to 8pm.
You can be of any experience level from 0 experience with ttrpgs to years and years. Its all very easy to learn and its slightly modified 5th Edition.
This is a game for 18-30 year old players. Nobody younger than 18 apply please, adults only.

We are all here because of our love for the Confederate beating, General William Tecumseh Sherman. Of course, how could we not?
However, there’s been a number of recent posts that make me think/realize that for many of you, your knowledge or care of Sherman starts with the Civil War, and ends there.
These posts make a nod to more contemporary history, claiming Sherman would’ve been on a specific side. It completely ignores the fact that Sherman would have been happy had the war ended with a peace that left slavery to exist in the US, and then proceeded to oversee the Plains Indian Wars in the succeeding years.
So, no… Sherman, for all the good and bada** stuff he did in the ACW, he would not have been on the side of what you think he would’ve been.

There are so many gates that lead to hell but only one that leads to heaven. Oppression does not just come suddenly upon a man. It comes through many things that we do and take for granted. Consider that God made sure those who are righteous are protected from oppression.
Read here; Isaiah 54:14 “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.”
If you live a life of sin or have not repented from the sinful ways of your forefathers, you shall suffer oppression. Hate evil, shun sin and be freed from forms of oppression.
Read here; Isaiah 33:14-15 KJV “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil.”
I ask you today if you are making it in life though faithfulness to God or you are living in sin? Taking bribes, going to consult witchdoctors when you say you are saved.
The devil will use any door he can find to oppress you. The devil can give you money but no wealth, he can give you a wife/ husband but no marriage, he can give you fame but no peace of mind. This is oppression. Free yourself from it through prayer and righteousness.

I want to know what I need to download in terms of monitoring everything, msi afterburner or what-not, useful apps, a good stress tester, what updates I need, I don't know what all I need to be able to make sure everything is good to go. Any suggestions would be more than helpful.
