My phone says potentially KC Caviler Spaniel. Her breeders say she is a Cocker Spaniel. Her ears seem quite short so I wonder if she has other mixtures of spaniel types in her lineage? Hello, my fellow Members!
I’m stuck between decisions and need your suggestions.
I am an Indian residing and working in India in a pharma company as a marketing executive, handling the Russian and Belarusian markets. My company now wants me to visit Russia and Belarus for customer meetings.
However, I plan to pursue my master’s in the near future, preferably in USA. As we all know, US don’t have the best diplomatic relations with Russia or Belarus. My concern is that if I travel for this business trip, my passport will have a Russian/Belarusian business visa stamp.
Will this affect my chances when applying for a student visa for USA?

Hi all, I am building a booking form for my storage company. The plan is to have one of the pages show the furniture icons and name in repeating groups. A stepper input is in each repeating group to increase or decrease the furniture count.
- I can't seem to find the best way to store customer's individual furniture data. A datatype called furniture_list stores all of my furniture items, their size_m3, icon and name. But to process the counts, I would need to use a workflow on the + and - icon to increase or decrease the item count respectively. I gave custom states a go, but there doesn't really seem to be a good dictionary system in place to solve this (I could very well be doing this wrong though).
- Should I be using data types or custom states to store each customer's individual booking? Custom States seem intuitive to temporarily store the booking info for a later submission (the end goal is to submit each booking to us at the end of the form). Data types will permanently store each customer's booking (whether complete or incomplete), which is frankly unneeded. Although, being able to calculate fields like size in m3 later on in the booking process to generate instant pricing is a must.

2025.01.31 04:21 QuackQuackMeow666 I need medical help but can’t function around doctors, what do I do?
6 months ago I was admitted to a voluntary psychiatric ward, which I stayed at for a week. When I was there the psychiatrist I was assigned was a horrible human being who left me more traumatized then I went in. I honestly don’t even know if I will ever get proper mental health care because of how much he lied in my reports about me and doctors always believe notes over the patient.
Ever since I was there I am unable to function right around doctors. I can’t advocate for myself, I shut down and just start agreeing with everything they say. I had to do that to leave the psychward. I had to become a “yes” man and just start agreeing with the malpractice to leave so I didn’t have to keep facing that abuse. I know this is a trauma response but I don’t know what to do at this point.
I need medical care, I have been dealing with chronic pain all my life but it’s become so much worse in the past 3 years along with me developing a lot of other symptoms. I am genuinely barely able to function due to my symptoms. I am unemployed and am looking for work but I’m honestly grateful that I haven’t gotten a job yet cuz idk if I could even do it with how much pain I am in.
Can anyone please help.

This has been bothering me for a while. Over the last few years I've seen uses of the word "misogyny" or "misogynistic" increase enormously on the internet. It used to be a word I never saw much of, but now I see it everywhere, used mostly by gen Z.
Here's the issue: when I see the word "misogynistic" it is, more often than not, being used as a substitute for "sexist" (which is a word I hardly see anymore).
Misogyny and sexism are not really the same thing. Sexism is treating women and men differently from each other based on ideas about how they differ. Often (but not always), this is based on a prejudice that women are inferior in some way, or on the support of traditional gender roles. Misogyny, on the other hand, is more about an irrational hatred of women. There is a big difference between a man (or woman for that matter) assuming a CEO or STEM professional will be a man, and a man wishing death upon women because he wants a girlfriend, hasn't managed to find one, and puts the blame on all womankind.
The two issues are related, of course, and they do overlap sometimes, but we have to be mindful of their difference and think about which word is appropriate for a given scenario. Sexism is more widespread and everyday, while misogyny is more individually potent and dangerous. "Sexism" is a perfectly good word to describe the former kind of prejudice, leaving "misogyny" reserved for the extreme cases of pure hatred. In my experience, this is how they were used up until relatively recently. Letting extreme language creep into everyday conversation comes with its own danger, so we need to be careful.

Hey everyone! Im looking into getting a camper and doing some extended roadtrips to different locations for weeks at a time.
I have a wfh job and regularly use 3 monitors. I’m sure there are people similar to me and would love to see your wfh setups in your rig. I am one person that will be traveling with a dog and that is it. My tow rig is a 2021 5.7l Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland WITH the tow package.
