Planning on coming to the area in August for an ice hockey tournament (beer league) at Northwell Health Ice Center. Looking for a decent hotel nearby that won't cost us $300/night and has some good restaurants and bars close by also.
Since we will have 17 guys or so all with hockey gear, what would be the best way to get to/from the rink? We were thinking a few Uber XL's, but if there is a better way, we would love to hear it.
Any help would be appreciated.

2025.01.31 04:41 Fun-Inside7814 Looking for a banjo I tried at a random stringed instrument shop in Asheville in 2021. More in notes
It was dark wood, from headstock to rim. Dark brown almost black, it had a bird inlaid into the headstock. I don’t remember about the fret markers. It was open back, and played beautifully. I remember it was expensive, but I’d never held a more beautiful instrument. I can’t for the life of me remember the brand or the shop name. Anyone have any ideas? Figured you beautiful people would be able to help!

Aquellos que se jactan de portar una banderita que dice no querer estos términos porque suenan "clasistas" (Cuando se puede ser naco siendo rico como Peso Pluma, Fofo Márquez, etc.) son solo niños que nunca han tenido la desdicha de tratar con una de estas criaturas. Es una molestia tener que tratar con simios que nunca entienden las cosas de manera racional, que piensan que todos queremos escuchar su música a todo volumen, que son seres infelices que solo encuentran valor en su vida haciendo ruido o molestando al otro.
Si en México existiese una segregación a este tipo de fenómenos, otra cosa sería.

So I’m rewatching the deathly hallows part 1 and I’m at the part where the minister of magic is handing out the items dumbledore left in his will. I noticed for the first time when he hands Harry the Golden Snitch, Hermione and Ron’s faces look at it as if the minister is handing Harry the keys to a Bugatti Veron.
I was always distracted by seeing Harry looking so happy to see the snitch clearly being reminded of happier times and the joy of catching that snitch for the first time. I decided to watch Hermione and run this time and they seemed in utter disbelief, so I’m just wondering if there’s a reason for that
