I'm currently using a 27" 4k, but I think 4k is overkill, I have a 4060, and I can only get 60fps in the Witcher 3 on medium/low. I lowered it to 1440p, and I'm playing on locked ultra+, and it seems to be perfect. I'm in the dilemma of having a bigger screen with more FPS, but less image quality.

For the plot, All I can remember are these really unsettling goblin creatures who crawled on all fours and were grey and skinny with their spine showing under their skin in the illustrations of the book, and that maybe any human characters were dressed in Ancient Greece type clothing, I also remember that there was some type of time traveling, and a water well or cave, but the monster creatures are the only thing I remember for sure
As far as characters I remember a man time traveler and a young woman wearing an Ancient Greek dress
For genre, fantasy
The cover was a lot like most children's books, with a picture of maybe the main characters and the monster, I also believe the title may have had the words “time traveler” in it. the page amount was a thin but the actual book was tall or large (unsure how to describe that better) And it was hardcover book I believe it was set in Ancient Greece, but the time the actual time traveler was from may have been early 1900s?
The book was not very long, most pages had a few paragraphs but the rest of the page was taken up by large illustrations
The book was in English
I do not remember the exact year I read it but it may have been in between 2012-2018
My guess is I was between 7-14 years old when I read it, it was laying around my house for a while while my parents had it so I looked at it a few different times, I don't think personally it was very age appropriate just because the monsters in it were so scary
I think I got it from a library and never returned it
It was not new when I read it
I believe with the way it was printed with a few paragraphs on each page and large illustrations it was for kids around 8-13

My first time going to Japan and my itinerary was a bit excessive. I have been um-ming and ah-ing a few particular spots that aren't super popular / must sees, but can't decide on whether or not to keep them or get rid of them. So, looking for opinions on what's good and what's not out of this list?
Osaka
- HEP FIVE Shopping Mall + Ferris Wheel - I've heard it's good but not worth travelling for unless you are in the area...
- Umeda Sky Building - We also have Shibuya Sky, so contemplating between the two
- Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum (3D), inside Umeda Sky Building - Not a huge fan of art but it was in the Osaka Amazing Pass and is in Umeda Sky Building itself...
- Tsutenkaku Tower Lookout + Slide - Doesn't seem too tall of a tower to have a nice lookout?
- Minoh National Park + Waterfalls - Seems a bit of a travel and in October I can assume the trees are slightly lackluster in colour
- Katsuoji Temple - Again, a bit of a travel near Minoh, but I do like the damura dolls
- Arashiyama Bamboo Grove - I've heard it's very overrated and busy, and there are other better options?
- Arashiyama Monkey Park
- Sunshine City - A bit far away from everything else we have planned
- teamLab BORDERLESS vs PLANETS ? - I literally can't choose between these two, so which is best?
- Yasukuni Shrine
- Kanda Myosin Shrine

I have downloaded a blender tutorial in the hopes that I can develop the skills to create short story animations with proper character design and attention grabbing character arcs. 2025.01.31 04:44 mat1904 I don't like the atmos remakes and my Samsung won't let me turn them off
I've recently experimented switching from Spotify to apple music and while for the most part the quality seems slightly better I am not a fan of the atmos enhanced songs. They have no punch and the vocals sound so far away and there's a weird fluctuation of sound mid track.
I tried turning off lossless and spatial audio and not much changed. I've been trying to turn off dolby atmos on my s21 fe and it will either turn the songs to normal for a second, or make them quiet. Either way as soon as I play an atmos song it automatically turns back on. I'm using sennheiser momentum 4s if thats relevant. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm 24, almost 25-year-old man. It first glance, I seem mature. I'm 6ft with a beard filling in and a deep voice. The women I meet on dating apps are initially attracted to me, but as they get to know the real me, they lose attraction. And I'm almost certain that's it's because of my personality.
I am naturally very goofy, childlike, and nervous. As a man, very few women are attracted to that. Every time I think I've found a woman who can accept me as I actually am, I get rejected, friendzoned, or I get "I didn't feel a romantic connection."
The truth is that most women want a man who's assertive, dominant and masculine, someone who can lead, someone who knows what he's doing and take care of them. Currently, I can't do any those things without faking it. I fake it in the early stages, but I can't sustain it and I eventually get rejected. I didn't start seriously trying to date until I was 21. I was a virgin until 22. I have no idea what I'm doing.
Obviously being myself hasn't been working out. I might be able to get flings but these women never want anything long term with me. How can I mature to the point where women take me seriously?
