 | Googling and surfing Reddit for reviews, seeing so much hate and under-appreciation I've decided to expand a little on my personal experience of what is essentially a great action cam with a simplified use and form factor... Bought the Hero 4K this month mainly for a MTB enduro event, mounting it to my Giro Fixture helmet on the front under the visor (not on the visor itself as its wobbly). Remember this mounting method as it'll make sense further down the review For what it's worth, when clips are ported directly from SD to your PC, the footage is entirely usable. It behaves exactly how a non-stabalized action camera would - bit shaky, standard field of view, nothing noteworthy or exemplary. The Gopro Quik app and its accompaning auto stabilization feature is absolute joke though. I would say it is akin to the early 2010s Youtube stabilization feature, which makes any clip that isn't a walking vlog unusable. I could try to stabilize clips on the PC using aftermarket software but I can't be bothered - like the cam purpose, the user wouldn't want to go the extra mile. The FOV is more than usable, the mild shakiness is tolerable and has a nice 2017 (start of mtb vlog era) to it which I don't mind at all, especially since I only use helmet cam and not chesty. If you look at Jack Moir on the big Y-tube, he has some new videos using this Hero 4K and even at warp speed, its usable footage. For the size, weight, simplicity and overall value the Hero 4K can't be beat. I was considering the Dji Osmo 3 and Insta360 Go3 but both cost at least 2x the price of this and were also 2x the weight and bulk. If you're not using a chesty, and only helmet mounted, you'd find this a strap on and go mini cam that serves its own niche pretty well. submitted by AORNova to gopro [link] [comments] |

 | Gibby is a big man, he weighed in at 18lbs last vet appointment and vet told me if we could get him down to like 13 or so, that would be awesome. I hadn't been really measuring his food, but fed him twice a day in inconsistent portions. I bought a 3/8 cup for portioning and he had struggles with stretching food through the day at first, but go the hang of it pretty quick. The last few days he's been eating pretty much all of his food for the day/night within an hour or two of getting it. It would be fine, except now when I'm sleeping at night, he hips on me and licks my face until I feed him. It was annoying but I did it, but last night he took it way too far and put his paw on my chin and grabbed it with his claws and pulled on it until I got upset, yelled "no" and went back to sleep It's literally nothing to do with the portions or anything, but he's being a total dick and it's NOT like him to be like that. That, and I'm mad ASF at him. I don't know how not to be mad bc he's probably gonna keep doing it, but he really is pissing me off. He's trying to be a normal boi and asking for belly rubs and uppies and hanging out with me, but I won't do any of it because I'm pissed. Sure it's deep in the sense that it lays down the fundamental thematics of Johan ie Nihilism and draws the clear line of distinction between Johan and Tenma's ideology but it's banal. It isn't some sort of a deep truth that one obtains and I am pretty sure, everyone of us have read similar saying from our elders or even memes about how no matter how strong or rich or intelligent person is, they will all die in the same coffin. Hell, even bollywood movies have the same idea.
Or consider Attack on Titan and how conflict would never end, how humans would continue to fight against and war would always live on. It's good but again even a 12 yr old can also reach the same conclusion from his elders or history books about how wars have always existed and how conflicts would still keep on...it's uninteresting and nothing deep philosophical worth of realisation.

Im sure there's some people that have seen some posts I did a while ago about gearing up for the first time I'm doing this run, and I was so nervous about it. I got geared up, amounted 2k volatile sludge and 200k shards, and this shit has been a cakewalk. Obviously I'm going to eat my words soon, but I got through to the base in a couple days. Obviously it helps to not have to grind through everything, but still. Anyways, I've made made my wheel like this from top clockwise.

That's my go to at least. Ive tried so hard to be good at gauntlets but they just piss me off. Sunshot was always my go to, that's replaced. I never used bolt blasters until I learned the power of the down, brittle, range master, and sustained burst. Just dead in a 10 seconds.

I don’t know what sub to put this in or what I’m looking for in response but here it all is…
I’m a gay Latino in corporate Los Angeles. I’m white passing but still feel very connected to my roots, we’re all a part of the same community, especially when we’re facing racism. Anyway…
I just started a new job (with no HR) and today I got to work early and heard this guy at work ranting to a coworker about how all “illegals” need to be deported and they’re a drain on our resources. He was making false claims like they’re getting free cars, money, phones, etc and they all need to go no matter what. Then he says we don’t need to split up families because we can just deport them all, kids and all included. He also said things like we don’t know who’s a killer or rapist, etc. so they all need to go and if they come back the “right way” then there’s no problem.
Anyway now I’m just rambling but hearing someone be so open about their racism really made me sweat in my seat. It made me feel like I was in the early n*zi regime where people are starting to feel more comfortable about their hate. And it was shocking to hear my own people be so generalized and stereotyped in such a hateful way.
Again, I don’t know what I’m looking for, just needed to share this with some of my community so I can get it off my chest. I’ll probably delete this later.
