I live in California, United States.
An example would be my phone or bike. I obviously don't have receipts for when they purchased this, but it by all means is mine since they never use it and it is with me 100% of the time.
Hypothetically:
Would they legally be able to do anything? I would obviously refuse to give it to them and then what? Let's say they bring a lawyer into this and argue that it was never my phone and it was given to me under the pretense that I follow certain conditions that I don't (just an excuse to say I don't own the phone.) Would that hold up in a court of law given I wouldn't have a lawyer myself given I'm only 18?
They are quite wealthy and think they have the right to all my belongings and often threaten to take it all away and throw me on the street knowing I can't make it given the high cost of living here. I'm wondering if this holds any truth.
P.S The phone is just an example, it's just the concept of taking my belongings that I'm asking about.

Hello! Looking for any insight for code B1572 (no I do not mean P1572) “immobilizer circuit failure (except meter)” popping up for anyone who has a Subaru and/or WRX after a rebuild, leaving car unattended ended for a long period of time. I’m 99% sure it an issue with the remote start the old owner had installed. To be clear it was installed by professionals and I had 0 issues with it up until about 2 weeks after I stuck the engine back in. I’ve inspected fuses, wiring, and all harness’ visually and with a multimeter, everything OEM seems to check out. It is very very possible I missed something tho:)

We are having a small meet up this Saturday, February 1st at the Urban Grind coffee shop, 45 W Bay St downtown. We will be discussing about the trajectory of Jacksonville's development in 2025, alternative mobilities, safer streets, and incremental housing.
Our group is a small Jacksonville chapter of Strong Towns, a 501 org that is advocating and helping towns across America rebuilding towns and cities with better planning, better accessibilities, and transparency of local government accounting which has devastated small towns due to the Suburban experiment.
Although our chapter meets in downtown Jacksonville, and may converse on topic that may focus on planning being developed for downtown or beaches area, our group are from areas that is across whole Duval County, Clay County, Gainesville and St. Augustine.
Again, feel free to join us this weekend, and we meet here every 1st Saturday of every month, you are all welcome to stop by and share us your thoughts on how to make Jacksonville better.
P.s: I'm personally a semi-bicylist commuter. And we are also in advocacy for better, safer bicycle lanes that are more than just painted lines on the edge of the road. If you are a bicycle commuter or interested in alternative commuting, we will be diving deep into the topic this weekend as well.

I bought a Hisense A7n thinking it had 16gb of memory and it would be enough to add a few apps. Unfortunately it does not have enough memory. Anyways I hope this can help someone else:
To use external memory to store apps just install a USB or what ever memory, allow the tv to format it.
Next you have to activate developer mode: To do this go to settings; Go to System; Go to About; Go to Android tv Os build and press okay 7 times.
Next you have to Force allow apps on external. To do this: Go back to system Go to developer options; Scroll down to Force Allow Apps on External and turn it on.
Now you can start moving apps to external memory. To do this: Go to apps on the settings menu; On the menu for each app you want to move click on storage used; Choose your external memory.
You'll probably want to use a usb that has decent speed. I use a Samsung fit it seems to work fine. I don't think you can move the pre installed apps.

Okay so my brother is 16 and has really bad hygiene. Before we start i want to say hes disabled. (He had brain surgery and had 3 strokes) He functions somewhat normally but his left hand doesnt work properly and he acts like hes 12/13. He doesnt clean his room, he showers once every 2 weeks, hes really skinny bc he hardly eats, he doesnt go outside (i seriously cant remember the last time he went out), he doesnt brush his teeth (theyre genuinely orange) and he doesnt have a job or go to school.
He doesnt even wash his hair when he showers, theres orange gunk in his hair and he has major acne. He sits in his HORRID room playing valorant all day. Hes punched multiple holes in his walls and destroys his keyboards when he rages. I cant breathe near his room even if the door is closed its so fucking stinky and when u open the door it feels like an atomic bomb because its so hot and rank. You genuinely cant breathe in there or u start gagging.
This is obviously disgusting, however he is immortal 2 in valorant and says he wants to start trying to win money in tournaments. He also has a few online friends who he seems happy with. Im not sure what to do. Should i support this or encourage him to go out and find a real job? (Job seeking is hard for him since he's disabled so he ended up giving up.) I obv encourage finding a job anyway but i feel its gonna get 10x worse if he starts doing valorant professionally.
But i also feel it might be his last hope? I dont wanna sound like he doesn't have a life ahead of him but its looking that way. I really hope he grows out of this by the time hes 18?? But i dont wanna just depend on that hope if he doesnt. I also dont know alot about valorant, i mainly play other games (cod, fortnite etc) but ik immortal 2 is difficult to get and i dont want him to lose this opportunity.
I am 15f and my mother doesnt do anything about this, shes neglectful. My dad is struggling financially and cant help or house us, he also lives hours away. I visit him but my brother hasnt seen him in 2 years because of this lifestyle. I often have to cook/clean for him so this is stressful for me. I try everyday to get him to shower and i invite him places but he never agrees. Wasnt sure whether to tag this advice or serious.

I did my googling, but couldn't find an answer.
Have been interviewed, and now have an offer. Advertised rate was $32 per hr. However, written in the contract under the employers 90 day trial, they want to offer $30 per hr, bumping up to $32 per hr on the conclusion of the trial.
The difference is approx $384, which I am fortunately in a position to not be too hard up about. (The role itself is a fun job, and i am 100% sure I am going to absolutely ace it, however the head owner seems to push boundaries, which may/may not have had media exposure in the past, and I will leave it at that!)
I am assuming this is totally legal to do if mutually agreed?
