2025.01.31 05:50 Spells0 This gameâs abysmal matchmaking makes comp REALLY not fun
Iâve been having a lot of fun with this game so far, but Iâve mostly done quick play. Yesterday I started trying comp matches and MY GOD the matchmaking is literally worse than Overwatch.
Iâve yet to have a game that felt close and competitive. Iâm either curb stomping the other team or getting completely obliterated. Trying to rank up and play comp in games like this is normally fun for me, but I donât think Iâm gonna continue doing it until they figure out a different system for matchmaking.
Ranking up feels like it takes forever because itâs been impossible for me to get a string of games where Iâm not being matched up with players who are either afk or who clearly donât know what the hell theyâre doing. Thereâs gotta be a better way to match up based on skill.

Hi Everyone,
With show Rhaena now seemingly going to claim Sheepstealer, I feel that she should have claimed Silverwing instead if the writers wanted to change her not having a dragon.
In my heart, I would much rather have seen Nettles than Ulf because she plays such a larger part in the overall story and Sheepstealer being claimed by her would have been a sight to see.
The 1st Battle of Tumbleton could still happen with Hugh and Daeron burning the town.
Rhaena could stay in the vale as Silverwing does not play a role after 1st Battle of Tumbleton.
The writers could still involve Silverwing at the Second Battle of Tumbleton along with Addam/Seasmoke to fight Hugh and Daeron. All dragons could end up dying and at the end Rhaena is able to hatch Morning.
What do you think?

Saw an Ad for Pristyn Care, they have quoted 40k for the surgery and this includes the everything from pickup to drop and post surgery consultation also. Has anyone availed their services? Should I go ahead with them?

Hello Guys, So I really want to color my orks in a beast Snagga style which is white armor with yellow highlights like, and I was thinking about what to do with the bigger characters like ghazkull etc. Would it look better to leave his armor black and do the details in yellow or do the entire armor white and then the yellow details. I don't know if it would look bad to mix big black characters with the smaller white units if I go with the black design. Any Tipps are appreciated đđ».

Desde criança eu sempre fui bastante reservado e introvertido, sendo a tĂpica criança que nunca deu problema. Na minha adolescĂȘncia eu fiz literalmente uma Ășnica amizade (que aliĂĄs, dura atĂ© hoje), nunca frequentei baladas, usei drogas, transei ou bebi bebida alcoĂłlicas, as Ășnicas festas que de fato eu frequentava eram aquelas festinhas infantis de aniversĂĄrio, e mesmo tendo apenas crianças ao meu redor nelas, eu pouco falava com elas pois sou tĂmido atĂ© com crianças.
Apesar deste estilo de vida ter me levado a um vazio existencial sem fim, por vezes surgem pequenos momentos da minha vida que me enchem de excitação, que Ă© notĂcias, ou casos criminais em gerais, onde citam tragĂ©dias envolvendo adolescentes por qual motivo que seja, mas um motivo que torna estes momentos ainda mais picantes Ă© a tĂpica burrice adolescente que alguĂ©m tĂŁo fechado como eu nunca cometeria em minha adolescĂȘncia. Isto, ao meu ver, Ă© como o mundo dizendo a mim mesmo que apesar dos pesares, eu vivi melhor do que muitos.
Um caso que usarei para exemplificar esta tendĂȘncia minha Ă© a de uma adolescente que ao visitar um grupo de amigos, sendo a Ășnica mulher, acaba sendo dopada e estuprada enquanto era filmada. No final a vĂtima acabou se matando, logo em seguida a mĂŁe, pois ela faz parte de um bando de vitimistas que nĂŁo aceitam o destino que a escolha inconsequente dela o impĂŽs. Infelizmente nada ocorreu com os estupradores, o que Ă© de fato uma grande pena, pois eles eram literalmente as encarnaçÔes do arquĂ©tipo do adolescente inconsequente filhinho do papai.

2025.01.31 05:50 nddulac Post-Operative Bacterial Infection
I had Posterior RTHR on December 20, and the recovery (I thought) went extremely smoothly.
The night of January 20, I started to feel poorly. Blacked out and fell on my way back from the bathroom at night. But I was able to regain my equilibrium by lying on my back on the floor with my knees raised for 15 minutes. The next morning, I got up to teach a chemistry lab. I made it about an hour into lab and felt faint again, and had to lie on the floor for a while again. Clearly, something is wrong. So I go home, rest and feel okay, so I go back to teach my afternoon lecture. After the lecture, I go home feeling very poorly. That night my fever was 102 F. Also, I am starting to have difficulty voiding my bladder.
The next day, Jan 22, I stay home and feel okay for most of the day, except the bladder issues are getting worse. By evening, I am running a fever of 101 F, so I cancel class for Thursday. Thursday morning comes, and I haven't been able to pee for quite some time and am in considerable pain. At this point, I go to the ER, where I get a Foley Catheter (to be kept in place for 7 days) and the same antibiotic I was given post-surgery. My hip is doing fine, but now I am on FlowMax for the prostate, and an antibiotic for the bacterial infection.
Along comes Saturday, and I get a call from the Hospital, and I am told to stop the antibiotic, because my culture has come back and the bacterium is resistant to the particular antibiotic I was taking. They prescribe a new antibiotic, which I begin taking that night.
I got the Cath out today (Jan 30), which was quite the relief. My bladder seems to be functioning as designed so far - even bigger relief. Still taking the next-gen antibiotic. I am still getting the low-grade fever in the evening though, so that remains a concern.
The take-home message here is that even though my recovery was going swimmingly, and the symptoms I was developing seemed completely unrelated, the fact that my post-surgery antibiotic was ineffective against the bacterium with which I eventually had an issue, means I can not rule out the surgery as the original source of the infection.
So, I don;t know if it is common for a post-surgical infection to show up after five weeks, But it is definitely something I would recommend to be on the look out for. I waited to long, and it has been a rather miserable set back.

When I got my first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in April 2021 (age 17) i fainted in the 15 minute observation area. I was fine for my other dose and booster.
In November (age 21) i decided to get the flu shot for the first time, start the 3 shot sequence of Gardasil, and get my Hep B booster. I got all three in one day. Before the third needle was even open, my ears started ringing and i got lightheaded. I knew that i would faint if I stood up. Then they gave me juice and cheezits and i was okay.
I got my second dose of gardasil this month and again, ears ringing, feeling faint, my arm felt like lead.
Is there a way i can prepare better for shots so this doesnât happen? I honestly feel annoying and find it embarrassing to have to warn every nurse that Iâve fainted from a shot before and usually feel like Iâll faint again. I believe my last dose of Gardasil will be in April or May.

 | I took some of the constructive criticism from my last steak and hopefully improved this one. It was delicious either way. Boneless ribeye (I know I know bone-in is better) that I pat dry and coated in salt and steak seasoning. I let the pan get way hotter and only used oil to at first. I cooked both sides for about a minute each + the edges and then put in my butter and garlic cloves. I basted the butteoil mixture onto the steak and then let sit for a minute or two before cutting into it. It tasted good but I know the crust could be better but I think the inside was perfect. Okay, so there are definitely higher level solutions for my work being so repetitive that could be fixed with better systems/processes, but I am a low level employee and I donât have any say in changing things. If you have an easy to implement suggestion, Iâd be happy to hear it just in case someone ever asks my opinion, but Iâm not holding my breath lol.
Here are my two major duties:
- Manage the review/approval of documents/contracts from our contractors
- I receive an email with the item/s to be approved
- I review the items to see what subject matter experts within my company need to review/approve and then forward them out.
- SMEs respond back with either approval or comments.
- if a SME doesnât respond within a certain time frame, I send a follow up email.
- once all SMEs respond, I send either approval or feedback back to the contractor
- if there is feedback, the contractor will revise the items and send them back, restarting the process.
- all of this correspondence must be uploaded to onenote.
- Manage resolution of contractorâs consumer issues.
- issues come to me from a wide variety of sources via email.
- I forward the issue to the appropriate contractor and ask for it to be added to a log and regularly updated until resolved.
- some issues are escalated and require a response/update from the contractor within 48 hours. I have to keep track of those and follow-up if they donât respond quickly.
- I upload any correspondence between myself/my company/consumers/contractors involving said issue to a specific section in onenote.
- the contractors sends excel spreadsheet logs weekly with updates on each of the issues.
- I have to manually add the updates to the previous updates on a notes page that is created for each issue in the same onenote section that I upload correspondence to.
- I read each update and determine if the issue can be closed or if we need to ask the contractor to take a specific action. I make notes in onenote and then we go over the updates in a joint meeting and I make any recommendations.
