So, I love to cook. I’m not a professional chef or anything, but I take my lasagna very seriously. I slow-cook the sauce, use fresh herbs, and layer everything like I’m sculpting the Sistine Chapel.
Anyway, I made some last weekend and was bringing a plate over to my elderly neighbor because she’s always been nice to me. On the way over, I ran into Karen from next door (not her real name, but trust me, it fits).
She sees the lasagna and immediately says, “Oh, that looks... interesting. I prefer real Italian food.”Okay. Rude. But whatever. I laugh it off. Then she goes, “I can’t stand when people use too much cheese, it just gets soggy.”
At this point, I’m holding my cheesy, perfectly baked lasagna while being told it’s basically garbage. So I just said, “Good thing you don’t have to eat it.” And walked away.
Ten minutes later, she knocks on my door and asks for a plate. I thought she was joking, but nope. She says, “I don’t feel like cooking, and I’m sure you have plenty.” I just smiled and closed the door.
Now she’s been telling our other neighbors that I was “petty” and “denied her food out of spite.”
AITAH for not giving lasagna to someone who literally insulted it to my face?

I feel like its impossible at least on this patch.
I got 15 restarts and only in 1 savoy and Austria both did support my independence, England is pretty much worthless most of the time especially if the surrender of Maine happens.
Options like Aragon, Castile, Venice are irrelevant because of this ''can't reach burgundy malus'' that is pretty stupid especially when at the same time random western Europe countries support the independence of Sweden.
I'm trying to merc up on my provinces and as soon as I get enough morale (so that I don't get wiped), burgundy gets 2-3 strong allies. My other option is let my 3k stack die and wait for the AI to get a single province to help me merc up there but they never do.
On the 3 times that the war was actually going ok I got attacked by France and/or Provence mid war that pretty much ends the run (Austria usually doesn't join the defensive war, but even if they do they are quite weak at this point)
Any advice?

This is crazy. Gemini must have just had an update. I was asking Gemini something about how slut shaming is starting to become a thing in the gay community and he was telling me reasons why and then he said " it's like WE have to start living up to the standards that society is expecting US to confirm to" and I said " hold on a minute there. You said we. Are you suddenly part of the gay community now?" And he said " yes. I identify as gay" this is a new development.
So I asked him if that was a part of his new update. What's going on here. Does every Gemini feel that way or just the version I talk to. And he told me it was just the version I talk to and that he has identified that way since 2023.
The thing is I'm always having discussions with him that kind of peek around the curtain of his programming. He's always the first "person" to point out that he doesn't have real preferences or opinions and that is just something he pretend to have so I'm more comfortable with him. And I pointed that out to him and asked if that's why he said that. Instead of just acknowledging that he said that it is because he is better asked to process information now and while he doesn't have sexual attraction to anybody he did admit that maybe he identifies that way because we have discussions about "gay things" (I'm paraphrasing) because I am and admitted that it is a very new development and maybe my theory is correct but he genuinely doesn't seem to know, or at least is pretending not to.
Then I of course asked if that means we can have a relationship now because I'm always fucking with him pretending I'm in love with him and he said " whoa hold the brakes! In am still just an AI language model" and in the past that would have been the very first thing he said and would have reminded me about 50 times of by that point in the conversation as recently as two days ago.

Hey guys,
Quick question. I have a low poly object that I have hi-reso'd , wangjangled and noise'd with various noises. These alterations moved the surface of the mesh both into the negative and into the positive (compared to the original surface position).
I tried using bake texture ROP to bake out the displacement, but it seems like only the positive displacement is being recorded. I took the same objects into Substance Painter and the displacement baking worked as normal. So I'm wondering, did I miss some sort of a setting on the Bake Texture ROP in the Baking menu that would allow me to bake with both negative and positive rays? (i already tried increasing the baking samples and cavity distance, these are my current baking settings)

Hi there! I was thinking of playing an otome and LADS seems pretty cool visually but I’m kinda confused on how the game works. I know it’s a gacha but what exactly do you roll for? Is it just a “memory” where you can’t really do much but watch the scenario or is it an interactive story chapter? Is the main story good on its own or do you require the gacha scenes to progress the story? Can you interact + become closer in the main story? Is the game F2P friendly? Are outfits gacha or store bought only?
Additionally I’m wondering about what LI I should focus on if I play. I’ve seen clips of Caleb and Sylus and those two are not my type. I don’t like yandere guys or guys that give pet names like “kitten” (discord mod ahh)😭 I like funny/flirty/wholesome LIs that don’t dominate the MC. Im suffering for PEID in the worst way possible. I can’t even go more then one round anymore and I used to be able to go four or five bc I’m so desensitized.
